This initiative addresses the challenge of limited representation and awareness of Cardano's DeFi sector within the broader blockchain community. Our approach focuses on hosting an engaging side event at Token 2049 Singapore (18-19 Sept. 2024) to introduce attendees to Cardano's DeFi ecosystem and foster meaningful engagement. We aim to engage a diverse audience, including industry professionals, developers, investors, and blockchain enthusiasts, to showcase the different products and advantages of Cardano DeFi. By hosting this event and giving a free platform to Cardano DeFi projects, we will increase awareness and interest in Cardano's DeFi solutions, ultimately contributing to the growth and development of the Cardano community's ecosystem.

The project team for this initiative consists of dedicated members from Linkage Finance who bring specialized expertise in community engagement. Our team is structured to ensure seamless execution across all project aspects.

Project Manager (Marius): Responsible for project management, event communication and promotion, onboarding of Cardano DeFi projects to the side event

Event Manager (Carsten): Responsible for organising the event including venue hire, catering and stakeholder communication

Designer (to be hired): Providing resources and marketing material for the Cardano DeFi side-event

Our proposed budget breakdown includes:

1. Event venue rental: 20,000 ADA
2. Marketing and promotion: 9,000 ADA
3. Catering at the event: 9,000 ADA
4. Project management, Marketing Salaries, Costs for Cardano Project onboarding: 5,000 ADA
5. Travel costs for team members: 4,000 ADA

Any remaining costs will be covered by the Linkage Finance team in an effort to promote the Cardano ecosystem.
