Since climate actions are very critical and plays an important roles in farming activities, I intend to educate farmers on other farming method without having to depend on rain water for their farming activities. I will therefore teach these farmers on other farming methods like irrigation farming which most of them don’t practice.
I will also educate them on how to use modern technologies like the mobile phone in following the trend of rain by the meteorological service.
These activities will help me solve challenges regarding to sudden climate change.
200 farmers will be onboarded on project catalyst as part of their farming activities hence exposing them to intensive farm education and also expanding the cardano community in Ghana.
Imapact for this project will be measured by surveying the community farmers with various questionnaires and interviews to see if the education provided to them yielded a good results. This good results will include if they had enough of foodstuffs to be used by themselves and their families and their respective communities without depending on external sources.
Feasibility of this project will be achieved through proper survey from market women. These market women will be able to give us accurate information on where they had their foodstuffs from. Whether from the community or they were outsourced from other communities.
The Agricultural department of the District Assembly will also help us to know the feasibility of the project. This will be done with the proper records of farm produce within that farming period.
A Letter will be served to the President of Farmers Association within the community I will undertake my project. This letter will help inform all farmers with the community about the project.
The District Assembly within which the project will be conducted will also be informed. This step will help by providing agricultural personnel who will be able to educate farmers on other method of farming.
A survey will be conducted to know the current state of farm production through farmers and market women.
Another survey will also be conducted after the project is over to see how effective the education had an impact on the farmers and their farm products.
Conclusion will be drawn after the survey is done through questionnaires and interviews.
Final survey will be conducted to assess the effectiveness of the program
