All donations during livestreams must be able to take place in real time and with low transaction costs. With Hydra, we can bring this to the Cardano ecosystem.

Currently, donations during livestreams are often hindered by high transaction fees for micro donations, slow processing times, and limited payment options. This not only frustrates donors but also limits the potential for creators to monetize their content effectively.

We approach this problem by leveraging the Hydra protocol, a decentralized, off-chain scaling solution for the Cardano blockchain. By integrating Hydra into IOXtream, we will enable real-time, low-latency donations during livestreams using ADA. This will provide creators with a seamless and cost-effective way to monetize their content, while also offering donors a convenient and efficient means to support their favorite creators.

IOXtream will engage with the Cardano community and content creators providing a platform for creators to focus on producing high-quality interactive experiences while we handle the complexities of donation processing. I will also try collaborate with other stakeholders in the Cardano ecosystem to ensure seamless integration and widespread adoption.
