No
[GENERAL] Summarize your solution to the problem (200-character limit including spaces)
Rewriting the Backend to be much faster and more flexible.
Rewriting the Frontend and its open sourcing - modern graphics and unsurpassed user interface with web3 elements. API and SDK for developers.
[GENERAL] Does your project have any dependencies on other organizations, technical or otherwise?
No
[GENERAL] If YES, please describe what the dependency is and why you believe it is essential for your project’s delivery. If NO, please write “No dependencies.”
No dependencies
[GENERAL] Will your project’s output/s be fully open source?
Yes
[GENERAL] Please provide here more information on the open source status of your project outputs
The Front End will be completely open-source when finished. Our idea is that users themselves will be able to improve the interface and add new features themselves.
The back End will be open-sourced in another stage probably.
[SOLUTION] Please describe your proposed solution
We will completely upgrade Cexplorer to a whole new level of experience and functionality.
Significantly extending the existing features and capabilities for the benefit of the Cardano ecosystem.
- new backed - much faster and flexible (db-sync compatible, governance support)
- new frontend - modern with web3 elements, open-sourced, with community involvement
- API/SDK for developers
[IMPACT] Please define the positive impact your project will have on the wider Cardano community
Thanks to the rewriting of all components, the main benefits are as follows:
- Increased Cardano decentralization and independence by running an independent explorer
- We'll provide a lot of information directly as an explorer, which will increase transparency and accessibility. Along with that, we'll continue to publish educational articles and raise awareness around Cardano in general, so we'll improve user onboarding, education, and the user experience in general.
- Availability for developers - we will provide API and SDK for developers to use in other projects.
- Front End will be open-sourced. The community will be able to contribute and improve.
- Web3/Wallet support
[CAPABILITY & FEASIBILITY] What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability? How do you intend to validate if your approach is feasible?
We have been long-standing OG members of the Cardano community since ITN.
Jaromir and Lukas are Cardano ambassadors.
Josef is the main project manager of Adapools/Cexplorer.

[VALUE FOR MONEY] How does the cost of the project represent value for money for the Cardano ecosystem?
Given our experience, we will not burn the resources entrusted to us inefficiently and ineffectively. We have a team of people who know what they are doing and we will use every dollar as responsibly as possible. After all, the budget we are asking for is relatively low considering the size of the outcome.
