Create easy to consume but educational content in Spanish, with a focus on Latin American people and educate the next generation about Cardano and Project Catalyst.
No dependencies
Everything made by this proposal is fully open source and free to use by everyone.
For Fund 11, with the funded proposal "Latin America Onboarding, Education, and Social Media", our plan is taking shape with a unique approach: educational and informative videos and publications that can be consumed in just one or two minutes. We have seen a good response on social networks such as Instagram, X and YouTube during the two months of work on the Fund 11 proposal. We are confident that the material created will be lastingly valuable.
We have noticed that the younger generation we are targeting is more interested in shorter content. We see this with IG stories, Tiktok and Snapchat, which the younger generation uses much more frequently than more traditional media like television or radio. Many of this generation are not interested in watching a 20-minute video or even reading a 5-minute article. Making the content long results in these young people simply not watching it. By making our videos and posts short but informative and entertaining, and advertising them as such, we believe it will drive higher views and engagement, meaning more young people will learn about Cardano.
For this reason, for this proposal we want to incorporate the social network Tiktok, where short videos go viral a lot and could have a greater reach. These videos will be made by Cardano girls in a creative, fun and informative way. On the other hand, we cannot forget about Facebook, which is a very traditional social network and we will be able to reach a more mature audience.
Instagram Content: Most crypto information and discussions currently occur on Twitter and Reddit without much focus on Instagram. Therefore, it makes sense to create a Twitter to reach people interested in cryptocurrencies. However, this approach is flawed as most people who are currently not interested in cryptocurrencies spend their time on other social networks such as Instagram. If we want to attract new people to the ecosystem, we need to go to the places where they are and not wait for them to come to us. For this reason, I want to continue this social network by creating posts, stories and reels about Cardano, Project Catalyst and blockchain technology with the goal of raising people's awareness and increasing interest and participation in Cardano. On Instagram we have been able to observe new people who are not on Twitter and who are also interested in blockchain.
TikTok Videos: the way content is displayed on TikTok is incredible, there are millions and millions of views that can be reached very quickly, this is why I believe that TikTok has great potential to reach a new audience with marketing strategies following trends viral of the moment.
Facebook Content: this social network is one of the oldest and most traditional, in addition to the most used by adults (not young people), therefore the audience that can be reached with this social network will be people who already have a consolidated heritage and who will be able to Learn about a new form of investment to continue increasing your assets.
YouTube Content: YouTube is a very popular resource for people interested in crypto. And while we currently have several great options for content in English, there are not a sufficient number of options for people who speak Spanish. Therefore, we will also continue with dedicated YouTube channel for creating content in Spanish.
Podcasts: There are currently not a lot of good Spanish language crypto podcasts available, but there are millions of people who utilize podcasts each day applying multitasking, where while you cook or work you can learn about cardano and the blockchain, the podcast is an excellent option for people who do not have much time to sit and watch a video or read an article.
Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook and Podcast Content will focus on these main areas:
Project Catalyst
a. Posts, stories, and reels that teach and explain what project Catalyst is.
b. Examples and breakdowns of proposals that have won in the past so that people can see the types of things that get funded.
c. Announcements of upcoming Project Catalyst rounds to keep people informed of when they can participate, vote, submit, etc.
d. Information on getting more involved with Catalyst, from joining the town halls to participating as a Community Assessor.
Cardano
a. What is Cardano? What are its strengths and what sets it apart from other blockchain technology.
b. News and development updates. Create posts and content discussing recent developments in the ecosystem.
c. Project discussions. Highlighting different projects in the ecosystem to give people a better idea of who is building on Cardano and what different products are available or soon to be released.
Blockchain/Crypto
a. What is blockchain and cryptocurrency? This portion will be focused on a total beginner. Explaining basic concepts so people can become more familiar and interested in the industry as a whole.
How Will This Project Bring Value To Cardano?
In reality, the impact of this proposal will be similar to that of the proposal financed in the previous fund, with the difference that with Facebook we will be able to reach a more adult audience. Here is a breakdown of the Latin American Market that we will be reaching and how it can have a huge impact on the success of Cardano and all products being built on Cardano.
The population of Latin America is 665,798,433. This is equal to 8.28% of the total world population. The % of the population over 14 years old without a bank account is 42.7% This is 100s of Millions of people who can benefit from liqwidfinance & others.
Credit card use is super low here. Only around 1/5 of the population own a credit card. Other types of payments have become necessary here. Here you can see a map of some of the most popular payment methods in LATAM. See how each country is using their own methods
This is the perfect environment for crypto adoption. A population that is already used to electronic payments, that credit card companies ignore and would benefit from one similar system across the region. Products likemichaelw COTInetwork or MehenOfficial or others would be perfect. Even with lack of credit cards, electronic commerce is growing. With growth of 30% estimated each year until 2025. And with few credit cards and very different banking options, crypto is an obvious choice with many benefits
In LATAM emigrants are close to 10 percent of the population, compared with about 2 percent, on average, worldwide for developing economies. They send large amounts of money, averaging about 6% of GDP, to support family members back home (IMF).
Now the only options are things like Western Union which take huge fees (we have a ton of them here in. Don't you think that this is a perfect opportunity to be using $ADA or stable coins from COTInetwork or Indigo_protocol? Who wouldnt prefer 1 ADA fee for these?
And what about new developer talent ? According to uniRank there are currently 1,869 official Universities in Latin America. These are millions of skilled, intelligent, and passionate young people here capable of making the next popular app.
This is the value my project will bring to Cardano. I hope I have explained how reaching this big market will help our network and every product that is being built on it.
What Is This Projects Goals?
Here I am listing my overall goals for what I hope to accomplish with my project and what value I think this will bring to Cardano. Please note these are all at a very high level to show the direction I am trying to take this project and what I hope to accomplish. I have provided clear descriptions of how I believe the goals of my project should be measured and considered.
1 To increase Cardano’s footprint in Latin America
The majority of the content that we create and share will be in the Spanish language and tailored specifically to Latinos. We believe that this is a very important yet overlooked market for crypto adoption and so creating educational and informational content and materials for it is important. Because it has not been a priority for Cardano so far, we have lagged behind in content tailed to Latin America (although we do have some wonderful people doing some great things already). We have provided specific numbers in the KPI section below that outline exactly how many new people we hope to bring to our different social media channels.
2 To increase the number of women actively participating in the Cardano ecosystem
Anyone who has spent any amount of time in the Cardano ecosystem has noticed that there are many more men here than women. This is not anyones fault, and we have a lot of great men here. But to not try and bring in 50% of the population that has not had much interest so far is crazy. Our team consists of all women. The content and videos that we make show women discussing Cardano and blockchain overall. When other women see this, it can inspire them to get involved because they see someone who is already like them involved with it. We will be active and passionate members of the ecosystem who are always there to chat and answer questions and encourage more women to enter this space.
3 To educate and empower newcomers who currently have no interest in crypto/blockchain
This project is aimed at the younger generation who is currently in primary/secondary school or University. Our team is from this same demographic so we are able to "speak their language". Im sure you can imagine that it is easier for someones peers to get them interested in a subject than a group of people from completely different generations. Through the content we make we hope to bring many new young people into the ecosystem.
How do we measure our impact?
We have created the following KPIs to measure and track the success of our project. They have been tailored specifically to what we are doing for this project and should be strong indicators of our success or failure. We have also included descriptions for each of our KPIs
Facebook Posts:
We will create a fanpage on Facebook in order to provide information and educate a more mature audience about Cardano and blockchain. For this same reason we expect slow growth compared to other social networks.
Goal is 1 per day, 7 per week, 30 per month, 180 total for the proposal.
Budget: 7 Hours per week total, 28 hours per month
TikTok Videos
We will create a Tiktok account, where we hope to have about 200-300 views to start, by the end of the 6 months it would be great to have more than 1000 views per post.
Goal is 6 per month, 36 total for the proposal.
Budget: Each video takes about 5 hours to write the material, shoot the video, edit it, post it, and field and comments or questions that arise after it is posted. 30 hours per month.
Youtube Videos Created
We will post our monthly YouTube videos that provide valuable information about the Cardano ecosystem. It can be information about recent developments for Cardano projects, updates for Cardano itself, updates and information about Catalyst. Information on Catalyst deadlines, how to apply, how to be a CA, to encourage students to submit projects and develop Cardano. You can also take content from other popular content creators (with their permission) and translate it into Spanish to reach a broader audience and benefit people who only speak Spanish and therefore won't be able to interact with the English content.
The goal is 1 per month, 6 total for the proposal.
Budget: Each video takes about 15 hours to write the material, film the video, edit it, publish it and fill out any comments or questions that arise after its publication.
Youtube Video views
Views are an important metric because if the videos are not having people watch them then they are not really serving any purpose. This metric can be difficult though because it will be a brand new channel and the growth is not usually linear for a new channel. Currently, the YouTube channel in two months of work has 40 subscribers and an average of 73 views per video, this is a good start. We continue to stick to the goal that at the end of the project the videos have an average of between 100 to 200 views
Twitter Followers
Twitter is a strong medium for sharing crypto information and updates. We plan to share the content we create on Instagram, YouTube, and Podcasts through Twitter to increase their exposure and allow the maximum number of people to benefit from them. Our goal for the next 6 months will be to get 2500 Twitter followers.
Twitter Posts
Goal is 1 per day, 7 per week, 30 per month, 240 total for the proposal.
Instagram Posts
Making regular Instagram posts is crucial as this type of social media is consumed by younger people in shorter intervals and more frequently than other media such as television that is used to 1 episode a week. In order to stay relevant and draw new people in, it is important to have daily posts. Therefore the goal will be to have daily Posts on IG, as we have already been working.
Goal is 1 per day, 7 per week, 30 per month, 180 total for the proposal.
Some posts are more creative or involved than others. Some may only take a few minutes to think about and post while others could take an hour or two of research and thought to draft and post.
Budget: 1 hour per day spent creating posts and responding to any comments or questions. 7 Hours per week total, 28 hours per month.
Instagram Followers
We have a long term view with the project. The more time we are around the more followers and audience we will build. But to start it is always difficult so we would like to keep things realistic. In the development of the Instagram social network we have realized that believing in followers has been more difficult than we thought, so we will have to continue with the more realistic goal that at the end of the 6 months we have 3000 followers
Instagram Stories
As mentioned above, posting regular content on Instagram is crucial. Stories are just as popular, if not Moreso, than posts.
Goal is 1 per day, 7 per week, 30 per month, 180 total for the proposal.
Some posts are more creative or involved than others. Some may only take a few minutes to think about and post while others could take an hour or two of research and thought to draft and post.
Budget: 30 minutes per day spent creating Stories and responding to any comments or questions. 3.5 Hours per week total, 14 hours per month
Podcasts Made
We have not seen many podcasts either for Cardano or in Spanish. In the two months of work that we have been creating the content, the podcast has been one of the most difficult platforms to grow, which is why for this proposal the effort will be increased with the marketing of the podcast to make it more visible, so that they will be paid to spotify so you can have more visibility
Goal is 1 per month, 6 total for the proposal
Budget: 10 hours to write, record and publish each month.
Project Administration
Creating a proposal through Catalyst has some requirements that must be met. We have to attend meetings in order to stay informed on what is going on and any changes. We must submit monthly reports and share our milestones, we must create closing reports and videos when it is complete. We must distribute funds to our team members and properly do out accounting. This all requires time and energy that we are budgeting for and creating KPIs to meet.
Goal is to meet all deadlines on time. All monthly reports, milestones, and submitting closing documents timely.
How will you share the outputs?
This proposal is about creating content and sharing information about Cardano through social media channels. Mostly Tiktok, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and Podcasts. These will also be the ways that we share the outputs and results of our project. We take a lot of pride in our work and we will want to show it off. We will make it a priority to keep our community updated on where we are at and what we are currently doing. We will share updates on our Milestones, our monthly progress, our close out videos, and our KPIs. We want this project to be as open and transparent as possible, and sharing content on social media is what we do.
We recognize we are a newer team in Cardano. But we were funded in F11 and so far have met every milestone and deadline that we set for ourselves. We have been extremely committed to delivering on our promises and have produced quality content exactly as promised and always on schedule. We hope that this helps provide some evidence that we are capable of continuing to do this work and that our plan is feasible.
Hardworking Team: We are not afraid of hard work and will do everything it takes to get the job done. We go or went to school, got good grades, and maintained jobs as well. We hope that this demonstrates that we are hard workers who are not afraid to put in a lot of hours and can multi-task.
Modest Funds Requested: We have lots of cool ideas for how this project can develop and grow over time. But instead of starting with some huge proposals for hundreds of thousands of ADA, we are starting with something very easy and straightforward. The hope is that we can demonstrate our trust and capability here and build on that trust in the future.
Our Pride: This project, comprised only by young latin american women, is an opportunity towards female empowerment and women's autonomy. It is an opportunity to bring more women and latinos into the ecosystem which we take very seriously. For us to take the funds and not deliver, it is a very bad look for other women who want to enter this space and for our countrymen as well. Because of this, we are committed to being good stewards of the funds, because we do not want to let down the people that we represent.
Realiable equipment: We want to have the opportunity to demonstrate how responsible we are as a team. We know that ecosystem resources are precious and limited, for this reason it is necessary that they be well managed, efficiently.
We commit to delivering payment receipts for the material tools that we are requesting for the project, the advertising that is paid for and/or materials that are purchased at the time of the university meetings. Regarding work hours, you can keep an Excel document documenting the hours and days worked, as well as evidence to prove it.
Launch project and complete 1 month of deliverables.
This is to start the project. It means that the project was successfully voted on and funded. All new social media accounts will be set up and ready to go and those currently operational will continue as normal.
Results: The results of this first will deliver the first month of content that I described in the previous solutions section, that is, the new social networks that do not have funding from the previous fund. I have listed them below.
Month 1 Deliverables:
Facebook - Create 30 posts
Tiktok - Create 6 videos
Acceptance Criteria
Facebook - Posts should be made on Facebook in Spanish and related to Cardano/Crypto. Can include important concepts, definitions, updates, or anything we feel is relevant and helpful to the latino cardano community.
TikTok - Should be in Spanish and related to Cardano/Crypto. Can include important concepts, definitions, updates, or anything we feel is relevant and helpful to the latino cardano community.
Middle point
The second milestone will be halfway through the project. This will occur 3 months into the project. The tasks and activities necessary to reach this milestone will be:
Work daily with our social media accounts. Create our posts but, more importantly, interact with people. Talk about Cardano, Catalyst and things others are working on. Take a genuine interest in what others do and share our passion for what we do.
Work daily creating content. Delivering the posts and videos we've promised requires us to work every day writing, recording, and editing. Each week there will be time dedicated to this. Until this delivery, Facebook and Tiktok work will only be carried out.
Stay up to date with Catalyst responsibilities and reporting. We also need to make sure we stay on top of our administrative tasks and complete our reports correctly and on time.
The goal is to achieve each of the KPIs we described in "How do you plan to measure the success of your project?" section.
Results: The results of the second will be to deliver the 3 more months of content I described in the solution section above. I have listed them below.
Month 2 Deliverables:
Facebook - Create 30 posts
Tiktok - Create 6 videos
Month 3 Deliverables:
Facebook - Create 30 posts
Tiktok - Create 6 videos
Acceptance Criteria
Facebook - Posts should be made on Facebook in Spanish and related to Cardano/Crypto. Can include important concepts, definitions, updates, or anything we feel is relevant and helpful to the latino cardano community.
TikTok - Should be in Spanish and related to Cardano/Crypto. Can include important concepts, definitions, updates, or anything we feel is relevant and helpful to the latino cardano community.
The final milestone is the successful completion of the project. The last 3 months of content must be delivered, in which the work for all social networks (Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, X, Youtube, Spotify) will be financed because the fund 11 proposal will already be finalized by this time. The closing video must be created and submitted.
Delivering the number of videos and articles we've promised requires us to work every day writing, recording, and editing. Each week there will be time dedicated to this.
Stay up to date with Catalyst responsibilities and reporting. We also need to make sure we stay on top of our administrative tasks and complete our reports correctly and on time.
Plan and conduct in-person meetings. We plan to do this towards the end and will need to spend time several months leading up to the event to plan it properly.
Prepare closing report
Results: The final results will deliver the last few months of content I described in the solution section above. I have listed them below. It will also be necessary to present the closing report and the video.
Month 4 Deliverables:
Twitter - Create 30 posts
Facebook - Create 30 posts

Instagram - Create 30 posts, 30 stories
Podcast - Create 1 Podcast
YouTube - Create 1 YouTube video
Final project completion report and video
Submit the final project completion report and video when the proposal is complete and all the above content has been delivered.
Reviewing the comments received for fund 11 from the reviewers, we have noticed that one of the most common criticisms made to the proposal was about the work team, since no one knew our work and ability to perform it, for this the score for feasibility was the lowest, however now with the content published in all social networks we have shown that we are able to develop all the proposed milestones and we still have a lot of potential. Even now we have a bigger team in order to make the TikTok videos more entertaining.

Labor
We have first broken down the labor for each of our main deliverables in hours. These hours will be used below to calculate a proper and fair budget. Remember that we have 4 team members performing these tasks which make the hours reasonable for each week and month.
Project Administration
Goal is to meet all deadlines on time. All monthly reports, milestones, and submitting closing documents timely.
Budget: We are budgeting 6 hours per month for these tasks. 36 hours for the total 6 month proposal.
Tiktok
Goal is 6 month, 36 total for the proposal.
Budget: We estimate each video takes about 10 hours to write the material, shoot the video, edit it, post it, and field and comments or questions that arise after it is posted. Our concept is to focus on short and direct to the point content which may seem like it would be cheaper. But it takes a lot of effort to write and shoot material quickly and in an entertaining way that people will actually learn from and remember. 360 hours for the total 6 month proposal.
Facebook Posts
Goal is 1 per day, 7 per week, 30 per month, 180 total for the proposal.
Some posts are more creative or involved than others. Some may only take a few minutes to think of and post while others could take an hour or two of research and thought to draft and post. It is also important to spend time each day interacting with people about their posts.
Budget: 1 hour per day spent creating posts, responding to any comments or questions, and interacting with people about Cardano. 7 Hours per week total, 28 hours per month. 168 hours for the total 6 month proposal.
Youtube Videos
Goal is 4 total for the proposal.
Budget: We estimate each video takes about 20 hours to write the material, shoot the video, edit it, post it, and field and comments or questions that arise after it is posted. Our concept is to focus on short and direct to the point content which may seem like it would be cheaper. But it takes a lot of effort to write and shoot material quickly and in an entertaining way that people will actually learn from and remember. 120 hours for the total 6 month proposal.
Instagram Posts
Goal is 1 per day, 7 per week, 30 per month, from November to January 90 total for the proposal.
Some posts are more creative or involved than others. Some may only take a few minutes to think of and post while others could take an hour or two of research and thought to draft and post. It is also important to spend time each day interacting with people about their posts.

Podcasts Made
We have not seen many podcasts either for Cardano or in Spanish. So part of our focus for this proposal is expanding into that medium.
Goal is 1 per month rom November to January, 3 total for the proposal
Budget: 15 hours to write, record and publish each month. 45 hours for the total 6 month proposal.
Total hours per month = 164
Hourly Rate = 5 dollars per hour
Total requested for hours = 820 dollars per month. 4,920 dollars total
Equipement
Microphone
We can make great content but if it doesn't sound good and professional it will not be very effective. We are budgeting for a new microphone to record our content and have it sound professional outdoors, make it portable and small, so that it works perfect for tiktok.
Budget: 479.000 COP, $123 USD
Computer
Our core team has skills with Photoshop and can create excellent materials for advertisements or promotional materials, for this it is necessary to invest in a computer with good quality specifications in terms of processor and graphics card, in this way ensure efficiency in editing videos and images. Currently we already have a computer from the initial proposal, however we need an extra one for our team of 3 more people.
Budget: 1100 USD
It is necessary to equip yourself with simple equipment to be able to do TikTok properly, such as tripods and light
Budget: 263.000 COP, $68 USD
Total Equipment = $1391 USD
Advertisement
In order to grow the account we will want to advertise. This would not utilize bots, it would be having a paid story or promotion by other popular social media account.
Budget: 1000 USD
Total Contractors = 1000
We find it extremely necessary to pay for verification on all social media accounts.
Instagram: $14.99 per moth, 90 in total
Facebook: $14.99 per moth, 90 in total
Twitter: 16 pcs per moth, 96 in total
Spotify: 8 USD per moth, 48 in total
Total verification and premium social media = 324 dollars
Total Budget Amount (in Dollars) = 4920 + 1291 + 1000 + 324 = $7.535
We are using a conversation rate of .40 which is a bit lower than it currently is. But we have made this budget vary carefully and would have a lot of difficulty if the price of ADA dropped much from here. We hope this is fair to the community and fair to our team.
Total Budget Amount (in ADA) = $7.535/.40 = 18.938 ADA
Our team believes that we are providing a great deal of value and content for the money that we are requesting. We will break down why for you here.
Hourly Rate: Our proposal has outlined in detail that we plan to provide 140 hours of labor per month on this proposal. This would be 840 hours for the entire 6 months that this covers. We are doing it at a labor rate of 5 dollars an hour. This would be on the extreme low end for people who come from western countries, but in Colombia where we work it is a very fair salary that ensures that quality work will be done. After scanning through many other proposals this round, we believe that this rate is extremely competitive and provides a great value for what we will provide.
Four People Working: This proposal is for 4 people's work, not just one. Similarly to the point above, it would be difficult to hire 4 people for 1000 dollars per month in many places in the world but here it is possible. The minimum wage here in Colombia is 1,300,606 COP which is about 314 USD. So the amount that we are requesting is about a minimum wage per person.
Lower Amount Requested: The maximum amount anyone can request for this challenge is 100.000. Therefore, we have seen that many people are requesting this amount or right around this amount. We calculated exactly what we expect to need for the proposal and it is about 0.32% percent of the total. We think this is fair because it allows more projects to get funding in this category and we are not being wasteful or requesting anything more than we might need.
We hope that explains why the cost and amounts included in our budget are fair. We also hope that we have explained the value that something like this project will bring properly throughout our proposal.
