[SOLUTION] Please describe your proposed solution
Our proposed solution is to create a mobile version of our funded Cardano-powered eCommerce platform project, which will allow users to make purchases using ADA. This is in line with the feedback gotten from 80% from people during our testing phase. Many of our users are more conversant to the mobile version of the Yoroi wallet instead of the web3 version which is mostly used for payment. The core problem we aim to solve is to help customers better adapt to this cardano ecomerce platform being created by my team. the limited access to user-friendly, crypto-based eCommerce platforms on mobile devices, especially for ADA holders. By focusing on a mobile-first approach, we aim to reach a broader audience and enhance ADA adoption in everyday transactions.
Our approach prioritizes security, accessibility, and ease of use. We plan to integrate a seamless payment system with Cardano’s blockchain to provide a smooth user experience for crypto payments, bringing the power of decentralized finance to everyday commerce. The project will target eCommerce vendors, ADA holders, and tech-savvy consumers looking to adopt cryptocurrencies for their daily transactions.
To demonstrate impact, we will track user adoption rates, transaction volumes, and feedback from vendors and customers. Our solution is unique because it offers a mobile-first, decentralized eCommerce experience that promotes ADA adoption. By enabling crypto payments for real-world products, we aim to boost ADA utility, support the Cardano ecosystem, and offer an innovative marketplace that enhances global commerce.
This project is important to Cardano because it aligns with the goal of driving adoption by enabling practical, real-world use cases for ADA, thus contributing to the growth of the Cardano ecosystem.

[VALUE FOR MONEY] How does the cost of the project represent value for money for the Cardano ecosystem?
Value for Money:
The proposed budget of 50,000 ADA for developing the mobile e-commerce application represents significant value for the Cardano ecosystem for several reasons:
- Market Competitive Rates:
- The costs associated with this project are based on industry-standard rates for development and design services within the region. For example, average freelance rates for developers and designers in Ghana typically range from 20 to 50 USD per hour, which corresponds to the proposed compensation structure in our budget. By employing skilled local professionals, we are ensuring competitive pricing while supporting the local economy.
- Expertise and Specialization:
- The team comprises experienced professionals who have proven expertise in mobile application development, blockchain integration, and user experience design. Each team member's role has been carefully considered to ensure that we maximize efficiency and effectiveness. This specialization minimizes the risk of project delays or failures due to inexperience.
- Comprehensive Development Plan:
- The budget encompasses not only the technical development but also essential elements like quality assurance, project management, and community engagement. This holistic approach ensures that the application is not just functional but also user-friendly, scalable, and aligned with the needs of the Cardano community.
- Community Impact and Engagement:
- By investing in community engagement strategies and outreach, we are fostering a vibrant user base that will drive adoption of ADA in e-commerce. This project is poised to enhance the visibility of Cardano in the digital marketplace, promoting the use of ADA as a preferred payment method and contributing to its overall growth and adoption.
- Long-Term Sustainability:
- The proposed budget includes provisions for ongoing maintenance and support after the initial launch. This ensures the application remains up-to-date and functional, contributing to long-term sustainability within the ecosystem.
- Value Proposition for Cardano:
- The application will facilitate real-world use cases for ADA, thereby increasing its utility and adoption. As the application gains traction, it has the potential to generate a positive cycle of engagement and transactions within the Cardano network, directly benefiting its ecosystem.
