Artists struggle to authenticate and monetize their art in the digital age, with limited platforms supporting transparent ownership and resale royalties using blockchain technology.
This is the total amount allocated to Blockchain-Powered Art Gallery for Cardano NFTs.
Create a Cardano-based NFT art gallery where artists can tokenize, showcase, and sell their works, ensuring authenticity, ownership, and royalties, while promoting ADA in the art world.
No dependencies.
The NFT marketplace and gallery platform will be open source throughout its entire lifecycle. The project will use the MIT open-source license, ensuring that anyone can freely use, modify, and distribute the platformâs code. This will allow developers and artists to collaborate, enhance the platform, and integrate additional features.
Only the platform's core featuresâsuch as the NFT minting system, marketplace, and exhibition toolsâwill be open source. Sensitive information related to artist profiles or artwork data will remain private, but the overall system will encourage community participation and transparency.
We will build a blockchain-powered art gallery that showcases both physical and digital art. The gallery will leverage Cardanoâs blockchain for NFT minting, allowing artists to tokenize their artwork, ensuring ownership, authenticity, and enabling them to sell their pieces digitally. The platform will provide artists with the tools they need to create and manage their NFTs, while also hosting virtual art exhibitions that can be viewed globally.
Through this platform, artists will benefit from an automated royalty system, ensuring they continue to earn from resales of their artwork. Art collectors will have the assurance of authenticity and ownership provided by the Cardano blockchain. This will also create a bridge between traditional art and the growing NFT market.
Increase ADA adoption within the art community by enabling transactions and royalties in ADA.
Promote Cardanoâs NFT ecosystem by providing a dedicated marketplace for artists and collectors.
Encourage global recognition of blockchain technologyâs role in art ownership and provenance.
Support artists by giving them access to new revenue streams and exposure through both physical and virtual exhibitions.
We will collaborate with blockchain developers, experienced in NFTs and Cardano smart contracts, to ensure the platform's technical foundation is robust and secure. Additionally, we have strong connections within the art community, allowing us to engage with artists and collectors to build early momentum. The projectâs open-source nature will ensure transparency and opportunities for the community to collaborate and enhance the platform.
Platform design and blockchain integration (Month 1-2)
The design and development of the gallery platform and integration with Cardanoâs NFT functionality will be completed. We will ensure the platform is user-friendly and allows for minting and trading of NFTs.
Artist onboarding and virtual exhibition development (Month 3-4)
Begin onboarding local and international artists to the platform. We will create virtual art exhibitions where artists can display their work to a global audience. We will also host webinars to introduce the Cardano NFT ecosystem to artists unfamiliar with blockchain.
NFT minting and marketplace launch (Month 5)
The NFT minting feature will go live, allowing artists to tokenize their works and sell them in ADA. The marketplace for buying and selling art will also be launched, with secure smart contract transactions.
First virtual exhibition and expansion (Month 6)
The first major virtual exhibition will be held, featuring works by artists using the platform. Based on the exhibitionâs success, we will scale the platform by reaching out to more artists and collectors worldwide.
 Platform expansion and cross-chain support
After launching on Cardano, we will explore partnerships to integrate with other blockchains, allowing for cross-chain NFT trading and further exposure for the artists.

This will also increase Cardanoâs visibility in creative industries worldwide.
