There is a problem with localized organizing within the Cardano ecosystem to drive adoption and expand in specific geographic regions.
This is the total amount allocated to Cardano Community Ambassador Program.
We will create thousands of trained ambassadors around the globe who will actively promote Cardano through meetups, workshops, and online meetings.
No dependencies
Any content created as educational material and any material developed to form communities will be released under an open-source license (CC BY-SA), and will be stored in public repositories. This makes the work easily adaptable and imitable in other areas by other community leaders, thus encourages decentralisation.
â˘The Cardano Community Ambassador Program seeks to increase the user base from the ground up with ambassadors trained to promote Cardano in their regions. Meeting this need, the program establishes localized knowledge centres to ensure ongoing, bottom-up training of the Cardanos, its ecosystem, governance, and technology. These ambassadors will later be engaged in offering workshops, seminars, and online events related to their community needs, using only materials approved by Cardano. These ambassadors will be trained from time to time to enable them produce relevant information and also get acquainted with how to properly engage all the respective communities.
In this manner, we are prepared to build and operate a community engaged in Cardanos governance and technological progress on a daily basis. This is an important one because it interconnects the worldwide and local Cardano communities while deepening Cardanos presence in areas where it is still not very well known.
â˘This program will bolster Cardanos tenacious base and create other regions with users by bringing the ability to local community building. When training those kids and engaging with people to become our ambassadors this is how we are building a sustainable, self-funded and self-generated network of education. This will lead to higher levels of participation in the Cardano governance process, more take up of Cardano in the region as well as build Communities with blockchain literacy.
Measuring Impact:
Quantitative Metrics: Track the number of trained ambassadors, events held, and attendees per event. We will also monitor the growth of local Cardano user bases and ambassador retention rates.
â˘Ambassador Growth: Number of ambassadors trained (target: 50).
â˘Event Participation: Number of events held and attendees per event (target: 50 events).
Qualitative Metrics: Collect feedback from ambassadors and participants through surveys, event reviews, and governance participation statistics.
â˘User Engagement: Growth in regional Cardano user bases and local governance participation.
We will share all materials and impact reports with the wider Cardano community through public channels, including forums, social media, and Cardano Town Halls.
â˘Our team has a strong background in community-building and education within blockchain ecosystems. The project leader has previously organized successful community-driven events, including blockchain workshops and online training. The teams ability to manage funds and deliver timely results is demonstrated by past successful engagements
â˘The project will begin with a pilot phase, focusing on 5 regions, scaling up based on measurable success.
To ensure feasibility, the project will start with a pilot phase involving 5 key regions, scaling based on feedback and measurable success. We will validate the approach through engagement rates, participant feedback, and regional Cardano user growth.
(Months 1-3):
Establish training program and onboarding materials. Recruit and train 10 ambassadors across 5 key regions. Organize first round of community meetups (âł25,000).
â˘Output: 10 trained ambassadors, first 10 local meetups.
â˘Evidence: Event reports, participant feedback, and community growth metrics.
(Months 4-6):
Expand to an additional 10 ambassadors. Continue regional events, with a focus on educational workshops (âł20,000).
â˘Output: 20 trained ambassadors, 20 events/workshops completed.
â˘Evidence: Event reports, workshop materials shared publicly.
(Months 7-9):
Conduct mid-project review, assess feedback, and adapt the program for greater impact. Develop advanced training modules for ambassadors (âł20,000).
Output: Enhanced training materials, 30 ambassadors trained.
Evidence: Mid-project report, participant testimonials.
(Months 10-12):
Complete ambassador training for 50 regions. Final evaluation and community impact report (âł20,000).
Output: 50 trained ambassadors, program wrap-up.
Evidence: Final report, video documentation, feedback surveys.
Team Roles:
â˘Project Lead: Oversees project execution and manages partnerships.
â˘Training Coordinator: Develops training materials and manages ambassador onboarding.
â˘Community Manager: Facilitates communication between ambassadors and provides ongoing support.
â˘Event Coordinator: Organizes logistics for events, including venues and materials.
â˘Technical Support: Manages the online repository for open-source materials and resources.
â˘Ambassador Training (âł25,000):
Includes materials, online platforms, and facilitation fees.
â˘Event Costs (âł20,000):
Venue rentals, marketing, and materials for workshops.
â˘Ambassador Support (âł20,000):
Ongoing training, community engagement tools.
â˘Final Evaluation and Reporting (âł20,000):
Data analysis, final report, and open-source repository setup.
Auditability
â˘The project will be fully auditable with a clear roadmap, milestones, and KPIs. We will provide quarterly reports detailing progress in training, event execution, and community impact. A public channel will be used to update the Cardano community regularly, including feedback from participants and ambassadors. Key metrics to be tracked include:
â˘Ambassador Retention Rate: Measuring the sustainability of the ambassador model.
â˘Event Attendance and Feedback: Tracking community engagement through surveys and attendance logs.
â˘Growth in Regional User Bases: Evaluating the effectiveness of local education efforts by monitoring Cardano wallet growth and governance participation.
â˘All materials, including impact reports, will be shared on Cardanoâs forums, social media, and through Cardano Town Hall meetings.
â˘At âł85,000, the Cardano Community Ambassador Program represents excellent value for money by driving regional adoption and community engagement at the grassroots level. Each trained ambassador will serve as a multiplier, educating hundreds of community members, thereby expanding Cardanoâs presence globally. The cost per ambassador, including training and event organization, ensures broad outreach and the creation of sustainable community hubs, aligning with Cardanoâs mission of decentralization and growth.
