[SOLUTION] Please describe your proposed solution
Current Situation In Philadelphia and surrounding regions:
1. Cardano has been around for a long time but it is not widely recognized by students, artists, business owners, project leaders, and individual investors on the east coast, tri-state area of the USA or Philadelphia (home base).
2. The Cardano community on the East coast and in Philadelphia is primarily online-based, with limited offline events. This situation restricts opportunities for non-user and members of Cardano to interact and collaborate effectively together.
3. Defi protocols are lacking new users and liquidity (no one knows about Minswap, Liqwid, Indigo, IUSD/DJED/USDM or your favorite Jpg store and The vibrant NFT community that thrives on Cardano).
Proposed Solution:
A Nomadic Vendor - Meetup group organizer what will draw attention to Cardano.
Proposed Locations for Cardano Blockchain tri-state Meetups:
- Pennsylvania: Philadelphia +regional: Pennsylvania’s largest city, hosting government agencies, universities, and leading businesses.
- New Jersey: Atlantic city: Is a resort city on New Jersey's Atlantic coast that's known for its many casinos, it's the perfect place for quarterly meetups and a way to promote the top memecoins of the cardano ecosystem.
- Connecticut: Stamford +regional: Is known for being the corporate headquarters of many major companies and it is the richest city in Connecticut, not only that, it also has an amazing hub of Artists and Musicians.
- New York: NYC + Ithaca: Located in New York’s Finger Lakes region. It’s home to Cornell University and its Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art. This location is perfect for members of the meetup to take a few days and enjoy the waterfalls in the area including Ithaca Falls, Southwest, Buttermilk Falls and the Robert H. Treman state park that offer a splendid view and natural pools.
- Extra: Community pick
Vendor/Meetup Content:
(Subject to change based on audience needs and trends)
- Cardano basics: Difference of blockchains, staking mechanism (ouroboros), currencies (ADA) VS. Stablecoins (DJED,USDM), Blockchain Explorers(pool.pm, eutxo, cardanoscan, creation of wallets (Eternl, Vesper, Begin, Tokeo), interacting with DApps (Liqwid, Minswap, Indigo, Jpg.store, rocket.store, Book, NewM).
- Monthly updates on Cardano's development and activities.
- Information about notable projects on Cardano.
- Discussions on decentralized governance and CIP1694.
- Catalyst updates.
- Other relevant topics.
- Open discussions.
- Networking opportunities.
Meetup Scale: up too 20-45 participants per/event.
Participants: (open to anyone)
- Non - holders.
- ADA holders.
Importance of the Nomadic Meetup group on the east coast USA:
- Promotes Cardano to a diverse audience including students, artists, businesses, individual investors.
- Establishes a platform for IRL connection within the Cardano Philadelphia area.
- Sparks new collaborations and initiatives that contribute to the development and enhancement of Cardano.
- Educates the community to understand Cardano deeply and is boosting confidence among non-users.
- Generates other positive impacts such as an increase in user engagement, new wallet creations, new ideas and new proposals on Catalyst.
Importance of the Nomadic Vendor group on the east coast USA:
- The importance of a vendor equip to travel with an info center at events unrelated to Cardano will bring a whole new variety of New Users to the ecosystem and it will also amplify the meetup group!
It is it essential to focus on marketing Cardano in the USA, there was never a better time and a better place, then now in Philadelphia and the surrounding regions of the east coast.
Cardano can attract a broad range of users, from artists and small businesses to tech enthusiasts and developers, creating opportunities for real-world use cases. Establishing a local yet nomadic community here, could serve as a model for blockchain adoption in other urban areas.

[VALUE FOR MONEY] How does the cost of the project represent value for money for the Cardano ecosystem?
This proposal will bring value to the Cardano ecosystem by expanding its presence in the tri-state region of the USA, a region with vast potential for blockchain adoption, thereby driving new user and developer engagement. By offering localized and fun events, and a Cardano info center at unrelated events, it will onboard more participants into Cardano's network, increasing participation in governance and other community initiatives.
