Problem we are solving:

Financial education in Brazil and LATAM countries is significantly deficient, leaving families without the proper tools to prepare children and adolescents for financial life. In addition, we are facing a health crisis with the decline in family interactions and physical activity, which negatively affects children's physical and mental well-being.

HoloKD Gym Solution:

Our proposal is twofold: with a focus on financial education and family health, HoloKD uses gamification and Web3 technology on the Cardano blockchain to offer an innovative solution. We will help families introduce financial education in a practical and fun way, through a system in which parents can assign allowances to their children linked to the completion of tasks and good practices. These rewards are converted into $ADA, allowing children to make financial decisions, while learning the value of money.

At the same time, we gamify physical activities and family interactions, making them more attractive and rewarding for children and adolescents. This not only encourages sports and play, but also reinforces family bonds and healthy habits.

Our contribution to the world is in line with SDGs 3 and 4.

How we will prove impact:

The impact will be measured clearly and directly through metrics that track users’ financial and physical progress. We will monitor adherence to activities, the number of tasks completed, improvements in young people’s financial and health habits, and family engagement. Reports on family well-being and children’s financial success will be evidence of the project’s success. In addition, the use of blockchain ensures transparency and traceability, ensuring that rewards and goals are achieved fairly and clearly.

Game narrative for gamification:

To motivate children to do physical activities, we created a game narrative using the progression of avatars and mini games within the app so they can play online with friends. Part of the multi-user MVP is already ready for testing.

To create the current narrative and prototype, we received funds from Brazilian public incentive laws.

HoloKDs are cards inspired by vintage games and physical activities available in the app for the family to choose from. When activated (performing the task), the avatars gain their powers within the game.

Positive Impact on the Cardano Community:

Our HoloKD Gym project will bring an influx of new users to the Cardano ecosystem, especially families with children and young people who have never had contact with blockchain. By gamifying physical and financial activities, HoloKD Gym will use Cardano to teach the values of health, discipline, and financial literacy, expanding the adoption of $ADA as an educational and practical currency. This interaction creates a new gateway to Cardano, increasing engagement and awareness of the benefits of Web3 for everyday life.

Value for the Cardano Community:

The success of HoloKD Gym will strengthen Cardano by integrating it into the daily lives of families. With our gamified approach, parents and young people will interact with Cardano daily, using $ADA as a way to incentivize tasks and physical activities. In addition, the rewards received in $ADA will become tools for purchases and digital experiences in the app, generating circulation in the ecosystem and encouraging the use of Cardano as an accessible and functional blockchain.

Measuring Impact:

We will measure our impact across three KPIs: the number of new users using $ADA for tasks and rewards, engagement with the HoloKD Gym app, and growth in partnerships within the Cardano community. We will also track the frequency of completed fitness activities and completed transactions in $ADA.

Sharing Results:

We will share our results transparently through detailed reporting and ongoing updates to the Catalyst community. We plan to use social media, videos, and white papers on GitHub to demonstrate our impact and discuss new partnership opportunities. We will connect and engage more educators, families, and fitness professionals within the Cardano ecosystem, showing how the success of HoloKD Gym can inspire even more Web3 solutions on Cardano.

The team HoloKD has a solid capacity to deliver this project with high levels of trust and responsibility, supported by our experience and track record of success. We have participated in startup acceleration programs such as Startup RIO, Sebrae Games and others, where we developed our management and innovation skills. Additionally, we have received public funds through Brazilian incentive laws and have rigorously fulfilled all requirements, demonstrating our commitment to transparency and delivering results.

To validate the viability of our approach, we will use clear performance metrics, collecting data on community participation, user feedback, and the impact on physical activities and financial education for families. This continuous monitoring will allow us to adjust our strategies as needed.
