Fact:

Currently, drivers' income for noncash transactions is managed by the taxi company. Emddi records drivers' income through a representative account and stores it on a centralized database. Then, Emddi reconciles and pays the taxi company based on stored data, and the taxi company reconciles again and pays each driver.

Problems:

- Drivers do not receive immediate income after each noncash trip but have to wait until the reconciliation period to receive their earnings.

- The manual reconciliation process between Emddi - Drivers is prone to inaccuracies.

Desired Outcome:

- Drivers can receive their noncash income at any time they desire, independent of reconciliation periods with the taxi company.

Solution:

We aim to apply Cardano Blockchain technology, transforming the current financial flow into an OnChain model by developing the EMD token as the platform's transaction unit. We will transition all driver transaction records onto the blockchain.

Driver App:

- Accept trips with EMD token payment.

- Income from trips with EMD tokens will be transferred to the driver's internal wallet on the platform.
