Does your project have any dependencies on other organizations, technical or otherwise?
No
Describe any dependencies or write 'No dependencies'
No dependencies
Will your project's outputs be fully open source?
Yes
License and Additional Information
API Code is close-source Sample code can be used as reference for integrator
Please choose the most relevant theme and tag related to the outcomes of your proposal
Developer Tools
Mention your open source license and describe your open source license rationale.
We will release all project outputs under the Apache 2.0 license.
This license is OSI-approved, widely adopted, and allows developers to freely use, modify, and distribute the code while ensuring attribution and license preservation
How do you make sure your source code is accessible to the public from project start, and people are informed?
All code will be published from day one in a public GitHub repository.
Each milestone will be documented, with regular updates announced through Catalyst reports and shared in Cardano developer to review
How will you provide high quality documentation?
Documentation will be maintained alongside the source code in the repository.
Documentation will be kept updated across milestones and will follow standard open source practices to ensure clarity and usability.
Please describe your proposed solution and how it addresses the problem
We see the problem in Cardano ecosystem:
Access to decentralized credit markets on Cardano is still limited
Existing lending protocols often lack the developer-friendly tools needed for broad integration. This creates a bottleneck for liquidity growth and prevents Cardano from reaching its full DeFi potential.
Our approach: we are building secure, transparent lending protocols (released on danogo.io ) with a standardized API and comprehensive integration toolkit. We chose this route because lowering technical barriers will drive adoption faster than focusing on end-user UX alone — developer adoption creates exponential growth by embedding lending functionality into multiple platforms at once.
Our project will engage four main groups:
Liquidity Providers: who will gain a safe and transparent channel to earn yield.
Borrowers: who will access on-chain credit using supported collateral.
Liquidators: who will benefit from open APIs for Loan's Health Factor as well as Danogo Liquidation Bot (another our project) is released .
Developers and DeFi Integrators: who will have tools and clear documentation to connect to our protocol.
The beneficiaries are not just individual lenders and borrowers — the entire Cardano ecosystem gains from increased liquidity, new DeFi integrations, and higher transaction volumes. This is important to Cardano because it strengthens its position as a competitive DeFi platform, attracting users and capital from outside ecosystems. By bridging security, usability, and developer adoption, we aim to set a new benchmark for lending protocols on Cardano.
Please define the positive impact your project will have on the wider Cardano community
Our decentralized lending protocol will expand the Cardano ecosystem by enabling secure, permissionless access to capital for both individual users and businesses. By lowering the barrier for liquidity provision and borrowing, we will stimulate on-chain activity, attract new participants, and encourage capital inflow from other chains into Cardano.
The protocol’s open and documented API will empower developers, wallet providers, and DeFi aggregators to integrate lending features directly into their platforms, fostering interoperability and innovation.
The positive impact will also be felt in the liquidation and arbitrage community, as we provide real-time data endpoints for Health Factor monitoring, creating opportunities for decentralized risk management and market efficiency.
Hosted API and integration guides will be publicly published ensuring the broader Cardano community can refer, extend, or build upon our work.
We also have support channels via Email, X.com, Discord.com that effectively helps 3rd-party integration.
We aim to accelerate the growth of Cardano DeFi while empowering the community with tools, data, documentaiion and opportunities to participate in a truly decentralized lending ecosystem.
What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability? How do you intend to validate if your approach is feasible?
Our team combines deep expertise in Cardano Smart Contract development, Backend API engineering, and DeFi protocol design, enabling us to deliver the project with both technical precision and operational transparency. We have a proven track record of building secure and scalable blockchain applications, supported by rigorous code reviews and best practices in Plutus and Haskell development. All smart contracts will undergo independent security audits and formal verification to ensure correctness, minimize vulnerabilities, and build user trust from day one (We are working with the Auditing firm Anastasia Lab on auditing our product)
On the off-chain side, our API architecture will follow industry standards (OpenAPI/Swagger documentation, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing) to ensure maintainability and reliability. We will maintain full public transparency through version-controlled repositories (based on Git), open technical documentation, and periodic project updates to stakeholders.
Our infrastructure hosting API via Kong API gateway, which allows us to provide a professional API management strategy in terms of scalability, availability, and security
Milestone Title
Develop APIs for Fixed-rate & Flexible-rate Lending
Milestone Outputs
We will deliver a complete draft of standardized APIs covering Pool and Loan for Fixed-rate Lending, as well as Loan APIs for Flexible-rate Lending.
These outputs will include endpoint specifications.
Acceptance Criteria
Finalize the API design and endpoint specifications are for both Pool and Loan in Fixed-rate Lending and Loan in Flexible-rate Lending.
Additionally, functional draft APIs must be developed, responding with correct data models and able to support integration tests by developers.
Evidence of Completion
Evidence will consist of draft API documentation hosted on GitHub.
Including detailed endpoint definitions, request/response samples.
Links to the repository will be made public to allow developers to review.
