AI
Mention your open source license and describe your open source license rationale.
We will release the Zeus AI SDK under the MIT License, a widely adopted open-source license that allows for maximum flexibility, reuse, and collaboration. The MIT License permits anyone to use, modify, and distribute the software with minimal restrictions, fostering innovation and rapid adoption across the Cardano ecosystem. By choosing MIT, we empower developers to integrate, build on, and extend our tools without friction, promoting decentralised growth and community contributions.
How do you make sure your source code is accessible to the public from project start, and people are informed?
From the start of the project, we will publish all source code to a public GitHub repository under the MIT License. The repository link will be included in the proposal comments, our social media posts, and on the Olympus Insights website to ensure visibility. All major updates will be announced publicly, and we will use GitHub Issues and Discussions to encourage community participation, bug reporting, and feature suggestions. This ensures transparency, community trust, and maximum open-source engagement.
How will you provide high quality documentation?
All documentation will be published in a public GitBook linked from our GitHub repository. It will include setup guides, API references, tutorials, architecture diagrams, and contribution guidelines. Code will be well-commented, updated with each release, and translated where needed. This ensures accessibility and usability for the global Cardano developer community from day one.
Please describe your proposed solution and how it addresses the problem
To unlock the full potential of Cardano as a developer-friendly blockchain, we propose building the Zeus AI SDK — a modular, open-source toolkit designed to supercharge developers building on Cardano. This solution bridges AI and Web3 by offering intelligent tooling, real-time guidance, and prebuilt integrations that make it significantly easier, faster, and more accessible to build smart contracts, dApps, educational platforms, and more on Cardano.
The Zeus AI SDK will include:
An AI-Powered Developer Assistant: Real-time, in-editor support that understands Cardano-specific libraries and Plutus code structures. Think Copilot, but fine-tuned for Cardano.
Code Generation Templates: Smart contract blueprints and front-end scaffolds tailored to Cardano’s unique architecture.
Training & Onboarding Modules: Built-in educational walkthroughs powered by the Zeus AI Tutor and OLi content, gamifying learning with Learn2Earn elements to help onboard new developers, students, and builders.
Testing and Debugging Tools: AI-assisted simulations, error tracing, and test generation tailored to Cardano environments.
Integration Helpers: Prebuilt modules for working with wallets (like Eternl, Nami, Tokeo), metadata standards, and common Cardano dApp patterns.
Multilingual & Inclusive Design: Global access is critical. The SDK will support documentation and AI guidance in multiple languages to support developers across Africa, LATAM, Asia, and beyond.
The SDK will be open-source under the MIT licence, encouraging reuse and community contributions. It will live on GitHub from day one and be supported by high-quality GitBook documentation. Contributors will be incentivised through Learn2Earn credits and recognition.
By solving the complexity barrier, this project unlocks a new generation of builders on Cardano — from university students to African Web3 startups. The SDK will also directly power Olympus Insights’ education platform and Zeus AI Tutor, providing real-world utility and sustainability.
Most importantly, this toolkit serves Cardano first. The ecosystem needs more tools, more builders, and more support. Zeus AI SDK is that support — a developer experience layer that strengthens the foundations of Cardano’s future.
Please define the positive impact your project will have on the wider Cardano community
The Zeus AI SDK will dramatically improve the developer experience on Cardano, removing common technical barriers and enabling faster, more scalable, and more inclusive dApp development. Its impact will be felt across multiple layers of the ecosystem:
The SDK integrates AI-driven code support, Learn2Earn incentives, and multilingual documentation, empowering new builders globally — from Nigeria to Nepal — to learn and build on Cardano. By embedding educational tools directly into the dev experience, it fast-tracks onboarding and reduces churn.
Cardano has historically struggled with accessibility compared to other chains. Zeus AI SDK simplifies the process with intelligent templates, wallet integrations, contract scaffolding, and live error correction, helping turn ideas into deployed apps without months of study.
This SDK fills a critical gap by delivering the kind of developer UX and AI assistance that is becoming standard across other chains like Ethereum (via Hardhat, Foundry) or Solana. Cardano cannot afford to fall behind — and Zeus AI brings us up to speed.
The SDK will plug directly into the Olympus Insights ecosystem — meaning real people are already lined up to use it. With over 72,000 users and nearly 300,000 lesson engagements, Olympus will actively distribute the SDK to educators, developers, and startups in emerging markets.
By including wallet integration templates and onboarding tools (e.g. Tokeo Wallet, Nami, Eternl), this SDK helps new dApps immediately onboard users with Cardano wallets — one of the easiest ways to grow wallet numbers across the ecosystem.
By making it easier for under-resourced or non-traditional developers to build on Cardano, this project expands the ecosystem into new regions, new communities, and new demographics. It gives people tools to build their future on Cardano — not Ethereum or Solana.
The SDK will be released under MIT licence and built in public. It becomes a free, modular layer that other Catalyst projects, Cardano builders, and independent contributors can use and improve.
What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability? How do you intend to validate if your approach is feasible?
Proven Track Record
The Olympus Insights team has already built and scaled a world-class AI-powered education platform. Since launching in October 2024, we’ve onboarded over 72,000 users, who have engaged with more than 290,000 lessons across finance, blockchain, AI, and software development. This level of traction demonstrates our technical capability, commitment to execution, and experience scaling user-centric platforms.
Our existing platform infrastructure, content engine, and AI integrations — including the Zeus AI Tutor — have already been deployed in production across multiple regions. We’ve shipped real products to real users in the Cardano ecosystem and beyond.
Full-Stack Team with Deep Technical Expertise
Our development team includes:
Senior full-stack engineers who’ve already built smart contract support, wallet integrations, and AI logic across multiple dApps.
AI specialists focused on prompt tuning, contextual memory, and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) — the same backbone that will drive Zeus SDK’s AI tooling.
UI/UX designers and front-end engineers with a proven ability to deliver clean, user-friendly interfaces that onboard non-technical users with ease.
Cardano community contributors and educators, ensuring the SDK is aligned with Cardano’s ethos and developer needs.
We’re also collaborating with the creators of KaPinto and Fatboy Studios, whose network reach and dev resources will assist with distribution, testing, and adoption across Kenya and West Africa.
Infrastructure Already Exists
Because this proposal builds on the foundations of Olympus Insights and Zeus AI Tutor, the backend systems (AI engine, authentication, lesson logic, feedback loops) are already live. We are not building from scratch — we are modularising, open-sourcing, and adapting our existing AI and L2E systems for developer usage in the Cardano space.
This dramatically lowers both technical risk and cost of delivery, while increasing speed-to-market and trust.
Public and Transparent Development
The SDK will be developed fully in public via GitHub. We will use a combination of:
MIT open-source licence to maximise freedom of use
Weekly public development sprints
Real-time community feedback loops
Transparent Trello boards or GitHub projects to track deliverables
We are also active on Twitter, Discord, and Telegram, with an engaged audience ready to test and provide feedback from day one.
Feasibility Validation
We will validate our approach via:
Alpha testing with existing Cardano dApp devs
Live feedback from Cardano students and educators on Olympus
Partner pilots with developers from Kenya, Nigeria, Australia, and the Philippines
Wallet creation metrics from integrated templates (e.g. Tokeo, Eternl)
Developer retention & activity metrics (SDK usage, GitHub issues, forks, PRs)
Because Olympus already tracks behaviour across its learning modules, we’ll easily measure how many developers use the Zeus SDK and how it improves learning and dApp deployment rates.
