Problem

Limited blockchain knowledge among African youth specially in Ethiopian and her neighbours due to language barriers and lack of simple, engaging educational content about Cardano.

Solution

We will create 1-minute Cardano clips in local languages, teaching blockchain basics in a fun, simple way to engage African youth and grow community awareness.

Project Team & RolesCardano Clip Project:

The success of the Cardano Clip project relies on a small, dedicated team with complementary skills in blockchain education, media production, community engagement, and project management. All team members have been selected for their expertise and proven ability to deliver high-quality educational content.   1. Project Lead – Yemam Mohammed

Role: Overall project management, milestone tracking, budget oversight, and coordination of all team members and collaborators.

  1. Content & Curriculum Developer

Role: Designing scripts, educational narratives, and learning activities tailored to teenagers (13–19 years).

Responsibilities: Creating age-appropriate blockchain content, preparing storyboards for video clips, ensuring alignment with Cardano educational objectives, and validating translations for local languages.

Capability: Background in curriculum development, experience in youth-focused educational programs, knowledge of blockchain basics.

  1. Multimedia & Video Production Specialist

Role: Producing high-quality video clips for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

Responsibilities: Animation, live-action filming, voiceover integration, editing, adding captions and graphics, and ensuring multilingual versions are produced.

Capability: Proven track record in short-form video production, knowledge of social media engagement best practices, and ability to adapt content for youth audiences.

  1. Translator & Cultural Advisor

Role: Translating video scripts and educational materials into Afan Oromo, Amharic, Somali, and Swahili while ensuring cultural appropriateness.

Responsibilities: Reviewing translations, adapting content to local contexts, and verifying clarity and comprehension for teenage audiences.

Capability: Native proficiency in target languages, experience in educational content translation, and understanding of local cultural nuances.

  1. Community Engagement & Outreach Coordinator

Role: Connecting with schools, youth groups, and local organizations to maximize adoption and participation.

Responsibilities: Onboarding pilot schools, supporting teachers and facilitators, promoting engagement via Telegram/Discord channels, and collecting feedback and testimonials from students.
