Who you’re targeting, how you’ll reach them, and why this matters for Cardano.
The ADApt Trondheim series is mainly being promoted at the NTNU University, as a two‑event initiative to drive Cardano adoption and empower local enthusiasts, international engineering and IT students, and blockchain tech enthusiasts. Each bootcamp builds on the other, guiding participants from basic ADA wallet setup to active governance and practical dApp use. By combining hands‑on workshops, expert-led sessions, and community networking. ADApt Trondheim will strengthen the ecosystem in Scandinavia and contribute to Cardano’s global footprint.
Provide a list of key activities of your project?
ADApt Trondheim is designed to accelerate Cardano adoption in Trondheim, Norway. Over 4 months (Oct 2025–Feb 2026) we will deliver hands‑on workshops:
- Introduce Cardano fundamentals, entities, wallet setup, and DeFi transaction mechanics.
- Deep dive into Cardano governance; DReps’ role, voting process.
- Project Catalyst walkthrough; draft, refine, and proposal submission demo.
- Post-event survey
By combining hands‑on workshops, guest speaker expert-led sessions, and community networking, we will create a self‑sustaining ecosystem of Cardano users in Trondheim.
What are your success metrics?
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Event Cadence: Complete 2 bootcamps by February 2026.
Unique Attendance: At least 60 unique participants (≈ 30 per event).
Metrics:
≥ 70 % of participants set up an ADA wallet.
≥ 60 % delegate or stake ADA after Bootcamp #1.
≥ 50 % willingness to participate in the following Catalyst round.
Satisfaction Survey: Average satisfaction score ≥ 4/5 on post‑event surveys.
Please describe your proposed solution and how it addresses the problem
ADApt Trondheim is a structured, two-event bootcamp series designed to bridge the educational and engagement gap in Trondheim, Norway—a tech-savvy yet untapped region for Cardano adoption. The solution addresses the problem of low grassroots awareness and limited governance participation by offering a guided pathway: from ADA wallet setup and staking basics, to governance education, and ultimately to proposal creation and dApp experimentation. Through expert-led sessions, hands-on activities, and follow-up engagement, participants gain the knowledge, tools, and confidence to become active Cardano users and community contributors.
Please define the positive impact your project will have on the wider Cardano community
ADApt Trondheim will onboard at least 60 new users into the Cardano ecosystem, with KPIs targeting ≥70% wallet creation, ≥60% staking participation, and ≥50% Catalyst participation willingness. It will seed a self-sustaining community in Scandinavia—an underrepresented yet promising region—by training local "ambassadors" and future proposers. By improving Catalyst participation, educating about SPO's, DReps and decentralized governance, and demonstrating dApp potential, the project reinforces Cardano’s global decentralization goals. It also provides a replicable model that can be scaled to other cities, contributing to Cardano’s long-term adoption and community resilience.
What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability? How do you intend to validate if your approach is feasible?

How does the cost of the project represent value for the Cardano ecosystem?
Cost per Participant: ≈₳1,000 (≈$400 USD) for full-day immersive experience
ROI: New stakers, voters, and proposers amplify Cardano’s ecosystem
In a high-cost region like Norway, this budget represents excellent value for money and a smart investment in Cardano's global outreach. ADApt Trondheim strengthens Cardano’s footprint in a new territory, while aligning every ADA spent with community growth, education, and decentralized participation.
This is good Value because:
Cost per participant is expected to be $400 USD for a fully immersive experience: education, food, networking, and onboarding. This is highly reasonable given Norwegian cost-of-living standards (0.5L water bottle can cost anywhere from 3.5$ to 7$ in a regular convenience store) and professional event benchmarks.
Onboarded users : Target ≥70% wallet creation, ≥60% staking, and ≥50% Catalyst voting—converting passive observers into active ADA users, stakers, voters, and future proposers
Global footprint expansion : Establishes Cardano's presence in Scandinavia, currently underrepresented, creating future value beyond this initial investment.
Catalyst pipeline growth : By helping attendees draft and submit proposals, the bootcamp will directly contribute to future funding cycles.
