Please describe your proposed solution and how it addresses the problem
Our solution is to make Cardano a central ecosystem partner at AfroChain 2025, Ethiopia’s first national Web3 summit.
By sponsoring workshops, community education tracks, and brand activations, Cardano will engage directly with developers, youth, and policymakers in a region with high blockchain potential but low access.
This addresses the lack of local Cardano presence by delivering hands-on onboarding, public education, and real visibility through a trusted, government-supported event.
Please define the positive impact your project will have on the wider Cardano community
AfroChain 2025 will bring thousands of new people into the Cardano ecosystem from an untapped, high-potential region.
It will expand Cardano’s global footprint, create reusable educational content, and grow developer activity and wallet adoption in East Africa — supporting the network’s decentralization, diversity, and long-term sustainability.
What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability? How do you intend to validate if your approach is feasible?
Our team at Kese Events has 4+ years of experience delivering large-scale, high-impact events across Ethiopia — from Web3 workshops to concerts and government-backed campaigns.
We’ve already partnered with MINT, ABI, ethiepian blockchain network, tether, and Sorted Wallet, proving our ability to coordinate with top-tier partners and deliver results.
To ensure feasibility, we’ve secured the venue, stakeholder support, and a clear implementation plan. We’ll validate success through attendee tracking, wallet creation data, and open post-event reporting — all aligned with Cardano community values.

Please provide a cost breakdown of the proposed work and resources
We are requesting ₳35,000 to support Cardano’s strategic presence at AfroChain 2025.
This includes ₳7,000 allocated for delivering a Cardano-branded developer workshop — covering local trainers, onboarding materials, venue setup, and hands-on technical support.
Another ₳6,000 will support the Cardano Community Track, including speaker logistics, session moderation, and community discussions. To ensure strong visibility and public awareness,
₳7,000 will go toward marketing and promotion efforts. This includes the creation of visual assets, social media content, pre-event campaigns, and post-event engagement.
For physical branding and presence at the event,
₳6,000 is planned for booth setup, signage, and Cardano representation on the main stage and livestream. An additional
₳6,000 is allocated for professional video recording, slide decks, content editing, and a full open-access impact report.
Finally, ₳3,000 will be used for developer incentives, including branded swag, wallet setup support, and follow-up onboarding resources.
This budget ensures Cardano is positioned as a lead ecosystem player in Ethiopia’s first national Web3 summit, with lasting community impact.
How does the cost of the project represent value for the Cardano ecosystem?
Value for Money
AfroChain 2025 offers Cardano unmatched visibility and adoption in Ethiopia — a fast-growing, underrepresented region with massive Web3 potential.
With ₳35,000, Cardano becomes a lead ecosystem partner in a nationally backed summit reaching over 2,000 in-person attendees and 5,000+ virtual participants.
The funding supports not just brand exposure, but real outcomes: developer onboarding, wallet creation, open-source content, and long-term ecosystem presence. The event is backed by the Ministry of Innovation and Technology (MINT), ensuring high-level support and legitimacy.
This one-time investment results in permanent educational resources, measurable onboarding, and strong grassroots momentum — offering Cardano excellent value and long-term strategic return.
