Please describe your proposed solution and how it addresses the problem
The identified problem is the lack of accessible, structured, and updated information in Portuguese about the Cardano ecosystem. While there are several international initiatives, the Brazilian community still lacks a centralized space that provides reliable news, in clear language, and with consistent frequency. This gap hinders participation, engagement, and the understanding of Cardano’s relevance both globally and locally.
The proposed solution is the creation of a structured daily news bulletin, published Monday to Friday on the GovChainLab website. The bulletin will have its own visual identity, be written in Portuguese, and include fixed sections such as:
Governance and Catalyst updates;
The choice of a structured daily bulletin is based on the need for consistency and reliability. Regular publishing creates a reading habit and establishes a reference point for the community. Furthermore, the structured format ensures that information is organized, avoiding dispersion and maximizing clarity.
This project will directly engage:
Impact will be demonstrated through publishing frequency, growth in readership, engagement in comments and shares, and the increased presence of Cardano in local discussions. The bulletin will act as a bridge between global ecosystem production and the Brazilian audience, strengthening the perception that Cardano is accessible, innovative, and constantly evolving.
The uniqueness of this solution lies in combining consistency, clarity, and accessibility in Portuguese, creating a product that is simple to consume and highly reliable. It is not just about translating information, but adapting it to the local reality, organizing it into fixed sections, and delivering it in a structured format.
The main beneficiaries will be current and potential Cardano community members in Brazil. For the global ecosystem, the benefit lies in expanding the base of informed, engaged, and ready-to-collaborate users, strengthening decentralization, and consolidating Cardano as a reference in the Portuguese-speaking world.
Please define the positive impact your project will have on the wider Cardano community
This project will generate measurable and lasting impact for the wider Cardano community by strengthening engagement, improving information flow, and reducing barriers for Portuguese-speaking participants in Brazil.
A structured daily news bulletin published Monday to Friday will provide clarity, consistency, and trustworthiness. By centralizing updates into a reliable format, it avoids the fragmentation of information and creates a clear reference point for the community.
Key areas of impact:
Expected outcomes:
By focusing on structured communication, the project addresses a critical gap: access to reliable information in Portuguese. The positive impact extends beyond immediate news delivery, contributing to the consolidation of a more informed, active, and connected community in Brazil — and, by extension, reinforcing Cardano’s mission of global decentralization.
What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability? How do you intend to validate if your approach is feasible?
The successful execution of previous initiatives — including the Intersect Education and Multimedia Grant and the Cardano Community Hub in Brazil funded by Catalyst Fund 13 — demonstrates the solid foundation of trust, accountability, and delivery capacity established by Daniela Alves and Maria Carmo.
Both have a proven track record in the Cardano community, deep expertise in decentralized governance, and the ability to lead impactful projects that combine educational outreach with strategic partnerships. Their experience ensures not only the capacity to execute but also to manage resources transparently and deliver measurable results.

How does the cost of the project represent value for the Cardano ecosystem?
The project budget has been designed to ensure efficiency and clear value for the Cardano ecosystem. Each role—content coordination, writing, review, design, and community management—addresses a specific need to guarantee professional quality and consistent delivery. This structure ensures that knowledge about Cardano, its governance processes, and ecosystem developments is presented with clarity and credibility.
By involving specialized professionals, the project balances technical accuracy with accessible communication. Daniela Alves coordinates the content strategy, Maria Carmo ensures editorial quality, while other team members focus on writing, visual identity, and social media engagement. This distribution of responsibilities avoids over-reliance on a single contributor and ensures timely outputs that reach a broad audience.
The costs reflect fair professional standards in the communications and design industry, where hourly rates and workload distribution have been carefully considered. The emphasis is on quality rather than quantity, with resources directed toward creating durable, reliable materials that strengthen Cardano’s presence and reinforce trust in its governance processes.
Overall, the project represents strong value for the ecosystem, combining professional expertise with a lean structure to deliver measurable impact through consistent, high-quality outputs that inform and engage the community.
