Learn to Earn
Who you’re targeting, how you’ll reach them, and why this matters for Cardano.
Our target audience includes blockchain novices, non-native English speakers, and users in Ethiopia (Amharic, Afaan Oromo), Arabic regions and with more languages planned. We’ll reach them via social media, universities, Cardano ambassadors, and local tech hubs. ADA rewards for lessons and invites drive engagement, breaking language barriers, boosting wallet adoption, increasing on-chain activity, and expanding Cardano’s reach in high-growth regions.

Please describe your proposed solution and how it addresses the problem
We will create a gamified, multilingual learning app that teaches the basics of Cardano and blockchain in Arabic, Amharic, English, and Afaan Oromo. To encourage continued participation, users will receive tiny ADA rewards for finishing lessons, assessments, and interactive exercises. We address low adoption in underserved areas and the lack of accessible education by eliminating language barriers and offering a concrete incentive to participate. For the Cardano community, the platform's open-source nature guarantees scalability, adaptability, and affordability.
Please define the positive impact your project will have on the wider Cardano community
By interacting with blockchain newcomers, non-native English speakers, and communities in high-growth areas like Ethiopia and the Middle East, our project will directly broaden Cardano's reach. We lower a significant barrier to entry and make Cardano available to millions of people who would not otherwise be able to use it by providing lessons in English, Amharic, Afaan Oromo, and Arabic, with additional languages added in the future based on user feedback.
Long-term ecosystem participation, wallet creation, and on-chain transactions are all encouraged by the ADA reward system for learning. As users advance, they develop into knowledgeable members of the community who can use Cardano-based apps, promote its adoption, and create original projects.
Transparency, community trust, and the ability for developers globally to improve and modify the solution for other markets are all ensured by open-sourcing the platform. In addition to increasing active wallets and fostering genuine adoption in emerging economies, this combination of accessibility, incentives, and community involvement will help Cardano achieve its goals of inclusivity and decentralized innovation.
What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability? How do you intend to validate if your approach is feasible?
-As the only project lead at the moment, I am in charge of the project's overall planning, execution, and vision. In order to guarantee excellent delivery, I intend to assemble a group of knowledgeable blockchain developers, mobile and full-stack developers, content producers, translators, and quality assurance experts after funding approval. Clear milestone tracking, thorough reporting, open-source code made available under an MIT license, open budgeting, and frequent community feedback loops will all help to maintain accountability.
-There will be several steps involved in validating feasibility. To illustrate the fundamental app features, lesson delivery, and ADA reward mechanisms, a prototype will first be created in Arabic, English, Amharic, and Afaan Oromo. Target users, such as college students and Cardano community members, will take part in testing to offer input on reward distribution, usability, and the clarity of the content. These insights will be incorporated into iterations to maximize learning outcomes and engagement. Metrics like wallet creation, lesson completion, quiz participation, and ADA reward activity will be used to gauge success.
-In addition to directly promoting Cardano adoption, education, and active on-chain participation, this methodical approach guarantees that the project is technically feasible, transparent, and accountable.
Milestone Title
Project Kickoff & Design
Milestone Outputs
Building a solid foundation for the Cardano-Onboarding App is the main goal of the milestone's outputs. All members of the project team developers, content producers, and project managers will be fully involved and informed about the objectives, scope, and duties of the project. All major screens, navigation flows, and user interactions will be covered in the finalized sketches and app designs. A structured outline outlining the learning objectives, content objectives, and ADA reward distribution for each activity will be included in every lesson, test, and video module. English, Amharic, Afaan Oromo, and Arabic will be the languages for which language support is planned and mapped out; future expansion for other languages will be noted based on user feedback. Offline support, ADA reward mechanisms, and future mainnet integration will be described in technical architecture diagrams and app workflow charts.
Acceptance Criteria
Milestone 1 will be considered successfully completed when all project planning and design tasks are reviewed, approved, and signed off. Clear indications for lessons, quizzes, video modules, and ADA reward notifications must all be included in the app's design, along with every user interaction, screen layout, and navigation pathway. All module content outlines need to be finished, checked for clarity in instruction, and authorized for development. It is necessary to document language mappings, including fallback and localization strategies, for the first four languages (English, Amharic, Afaan Oromo, and Arabic). Along with a well-defined schedule for upcoming milestones, the team must have clearly defined roles, responsibilities, and workflows. It is necessary to document risk assessment and mitigation techniques, including technical dependencies, content approval, and reward system considerations. All design and content documents must be formatted, version-controlled, and prepared for instant transfer to the development team in order to meet milestone acceptance requirements.
Evidence of Completion
Several documented and verifiable outputs will serve as proof that Milestone 1 has been completed. This includes the project manager's and any advisors' signed approval documents attesting to the design's acceptability.Workflow diagrams, UI/UX mockups, and wireframes will all be kept in one location and marked with timestamps to indicate when they were finished.Lesson plans, quiz formats, and video scripts in each of the four languages will all be part of the content outlines that will be reviewed, documented, and version-controlled.There will be a team roster that includes task assignments, role definitions, and responsibility acknowledgement.App architecture, ADA reward mechanisms, and offline functionality technical diagrams will be submitted for evaluation. To ensure openness and accountability for reviewers, a milestone summary report will be created at the end, outlining goals, tasks finished, and preparedness for the following milestone.

Please provide a cost breakdown of the proposed work and resources
Mobile App Development (Android) – 20,000 ADA - UI/UX design, coding, multi-language support (English, Amharic, Afaan Oromo, Arabic), reward system integration.
How does the cost of the project represent value for the Cardano ecosystem?
-By developing an interesting, multilingual learning platform that incentivizes users in ADA for participation and learning, this project enhances Cardano's ecosystem.
-We increase Cardano's user base in high-growth areas by reducing entry barriers with interactive incentives and localized content (English, Amharic, Afaan Oromo, and Arabic).
-Open-source development guarantees that the platform can be inexpensively repurposed, further localized, and incorporated into other Cardano community projects.
-By encouraging active wallet use, on-chain transactions, and sustained user retention, the ADA reward pool directly raises Cardano's network value, adoption, and worldwide visibility.
