Our Approach:

The core problem is a critical gap in talent and awareness of Cardano at the university level. Students, the future builders of Web3, often view crypto through a speculative lens, lacking a deep understanding of robust, research-driven platforms like Cardano. Currently, there is no formal, on-the-ground mechanism to address this.

Our solution, the Cardano Student Ambassador Program, directly addresses this issue. We will recruit, train, and fund a cohort of talented and proactive students to become official Cardano Ambassadors at top universities in Vietnam

Our 'University Ambassadors' are distinct from the official, global Cardano Ambassadors. We see this program as the essential training ground and talent pipeline, preparing widely network according to the Vietnam universities and may be the next generation of leaders who may one day earn the official title for their nation.

Our Solution:

Recruitment: We will select 5 ambassadors from top technology and business universities based on their academic achievements, leadership potential, and passion for blockchain.

Universities: Vietnam National University, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, University of Transport and Communications, Foreign Trade University, etc.

Criteria:

• GPA: Minimum 3.5+/4.0 (or top 10% of their faculty).
• Cardano passion: Assessed through meetings or in-depth interviews.
• Technical skills: Good at programming (Java, C/C++, Python, JS/TS,...), OOP, data structures, and algorithms.
• Extracurricular activities: Participation in academic/technology clubs, with leadership roles.
• Personal qualities: Sense of responsibility, sharp thinking, and ability to learn (assessed via a behavioral interview).
• Empowerment: Each ambassador receives a performance-based stipend, an onboarding toolkit (documents, slides, branding materials), and exclusive training from Cardano experts.

Execution: Ambassadors are contractually responsible for achieving clear KPIs:

• Establish Cardano Blockchain groups or clubs.
• Each ambassador must organize a minimum of 5 Cardano-related workshops, events, or seminars per academic year.
• Meet communication KPIs to promote the Cardano community.
• Onboard new users by helping them engage with the Cardano ecosystem (wallet creation, courses, career guidance), including creating their first Cardano wallet.

This approach is unique because it is a long-term, grassroots strategy. It creates a sustainable talent pipeline and promotes authentic, peer-to-peer education, which is far more effective than traditional marketing. The direct beneficiaries are the students, but the ultimate beneficiary is the entire Cardano ecosystem..

How We Will Measure Impact

We will measure the project's impact through a combination of quantitative metrics and qualitative feedback, focusing on the pilot phase to ensure feasibility and effectiveness.

1. Quantitative Metrics:

• The number of new Blockchain clubs established at universities, including the number of actively participating members.
• The number of events/workshops organized (including orientation, technical, and networking sessions).
• The number of new university-specific social media channels created (Facebook groups, Discord servers, Telegram channels).
• The growth rate of club membership over time.
• Engagement levels and the volume of interactions on fanpages/groups managed by the ambassadors.
• The level of awareness of the Cardano blockchain within the student community.
• Faculty feedback from relevant faculty members on the development and expansion of awareness and understanding of the Cardano blockchain through the ambassador’s activities.

2. Qualitative Metrics:

Participant feedback:

• Conducting surveys after each event and workshop to measure the increase in knowledge about Cardano and Web3, as well as satisfaction with the content and organization.

Quality of interaction:

• Assessing the depth of discussions and the proactiveness of members within the clubs and on social media channels.
• Noting the formation of small research groups or individual/group projects within the clubs.

How We Will Share Results and Opportunities

We are committed to transparency and to widely sharing all results and opportunities arising from the project, allowing the global Cardano community to learn from and replicate this model.

Public monthly progress reports:

• We will post concise monthly progress reports on our official project channels.
• These reports will include key KPI metrics, qualitative highlights, and visuals (photos/videos) from events and activities.

Open-source resource repository:

• All training materials, the Ambassador handbook, presentation templates, and learning modules will be shared widely via a public GitHub repository. This allows anyone in the global Cardano community to access, reuse, adapt, and apply our model in other regions.

Participation in forums & Community events:

• We will actively participate and share our results on Catalyst forums, at Cardano conferences ( Cardano Summit), and in community AMAs to gather feedback and encourage discussion.
• Our ambassadors will be encouraged to present their experiences at local and international events, should opportunities arise.

The project costs are calculated based on the following detailed work items:

Ambassador service fees: 17,000 ADA

Payment for the 5 ambassadors based on the co-KPIs, equivalent to a part-time service contract.

Event fund: 11,000 ADA

Slightly reduced from the initial estimate to prioritize the quality of training. This fund is still sufficient to cover the costs for approximately 25 events, including printing, logistics, and small gifts.

Project management & reporting: 4,000 ADA

This covers the costs for coordination, mentoring, and transparent reporting to the community.

Expert trainer fee: 4,000 ADA

This covers the costs for training, supporting ambassadors, and giving advice on handbooks and relevant documents.

Starter kits and logistics: 1,500 ADA

Costs for producing the initial starter kits for the 5 ambassadors (including shirts, materials, and stickers) and other logistical expenses for the training session.

Excellence awards fund: 500 ADA

Reduced to focus resources on training. The fund remains sufficient to create motivation and honor the most outstanding ambassador/club at the end of the program.

This project delivers outstanding value for money because it replaces costly marketing models with a smarter, more effective community-building solution:

• Instead of a large, expensive one-off event that quickly fades, we establish long-term Cardano embassies directly on university campuses through our Ambassadors.
• Rather than spending money on advertising, we empower the students themselves to become the channels of outreach. This peer-to-peer trust is invaluable and more effective than any form of traditional marketing.
• Also, we want to implement experienced round 1 to prove effectiveness and scalability with 5 univeristies.

In short, we are not buying attention. We are investing in building a self-sustaining, organic network.
