Education
Who you’re targeting, how you’ll reach them, and why this matters for Cardano.
Targeting global beginners, students, early-career developers, and community builders in English, Japanese, and Vietnamese—markets with high Cardano interest and active communities. Japan and Vietnam show strong engagement with frequent meetups, making them strategic for multi-language onboarding. We’ll reach them via Cardano hubs, SPOs, ambassador channels, and university clubs, plus multi-language social threads, educator explainers, library placements, and optional marketplace listings. This boosts ADA adoption and strengthens workshops.
Provide a list of key activities of your project?
What are your success metrics?
12-month targets:
20,000+ digital downloads across languages; Digital reach: 15,000+ free downloads across languages.
Print circulation: physical copies distributed to hubs, universities, and events.
Marketplace adoption: 1,500+ access-pass mints / redemptions (showing ADA commerce).
Engagement: 30+ partner hubs adopting the book in workshops/courses; 1,000+ learner feedback responses with ≥4.3/5 satisfaction.
Long-term: measurable increases in local Cardano hub activity and verified wallet interactions following workshops (tracked via voluntary proof-of-action submissions)
Please describe your proposed solution and how it addresses the problem
We will produce Cardano Unlocked: multilingual Primer — a visual-first, beginner-friendly Cardano handbook authored in English and localized into Japanese and Vietnamese. The product is engineered as both a public good (free digital editions and reusable diagram library) and a productized distribution asset (paperback & Kindle on Amazon KDP and a Cardano-marketplace “Access Pass” NFT that redeems the DRM-free ePub or a signed print). This hybrid model solves three core problems at once: language barriers, inconsistent technical messaging, and lack of durable, classroom-ready materials.
Execution is staged and auditable:
(1) build one rigorous English master that codifies Cardano concepts, hands-on wallet walks, staking/delegation, basic Plutus concepts, governance primers and security hygiene, plus 40+ original diagrams designed to translate visually across cultures;
(2) localize with native translator–technical reviewer–editor triads so the JP and VI editions read like originals (examples, idioms, screenshots localized to regionally available wallets/flows);
(3) produce multi-format outputs (print-ready PDFs, ePub, Kindle) and register ISBNs;
(4) distribute via Amazon KDP for global discoverability, ship an initial mixed print run to partner hubs in Japan and Vietnam, and deploy an audited Cardano-marketplace flow to demonstrate ADA-based commerce and provide a secure redemption UX. All digital assets (diagrams, slide kits, educator notes, and the public repo) are released under Creative Commons (CC BY-NC) at launch to ensure reuse and easy classroom adoption.
Please define the positive impact your project will have on the wider Cardano community
Cardano Unlocked delivers measurable ecosystem growth by converting knowledge into action and providing reusable infrastructure for future outreach. Immediate outcomes: reachable, localized learning reduces friction for wallet creation, small test transactions, staking experiments and dApp exploration — turning curiosity into verifiable on-chain behavior. Within 12 months we target: 15,000+ free digital downloads, number of printed copies placed into classrooms and hubs, and 1,500+ Access-Pass mints/redemptions demonstrating ADA commerce for educational goods. These outcomes translate directly into increased wallet interactions, higher local event attendance, and an expanded pool of potential Catalyst proposers and Cardano contributors in high-interest markets (Japan & Vietnam).
Beyond raw numbers, the project creates durable community assets: a CC-licensed diagram library, slide decks for educators, and a documented replication playbook. Hubs can adopt the book as an official course text; trainers can stage workshops using the same visuals and assessment rubrics; winners of workshops can evolve into mentors and local content creators. The Cardano-marketplace integration provides a replicable template for ADA payments, royalties, and verifiable digital fulfilment — removing a practical barrier to on-chain commerce for community products.
How we will measure impact: platform analytics (download counts, ePub/Kindle reads), Amazon KDP reports, print shipment manifests, marketplace mint/redemption on-chain logs (tx hashes), partner adoption confirmations (MOUs), and learner surveys (pre/post confidence, NPS). We will publish monthly M&E snapshots and a final audited impact report. All outputs diagrams, educator slide kits, sanitized analytics tables and the redemption portal code will be publicly shared on a GitHub repo, the Cardano Forum, Catalyst updates, and partner channels (university portals, hub websites). This ensures transparency, reusability, and a clear path for other regions to fork and scale the program, multiplying Cardano’s educational reach worldwide.
What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability? How do you intend to validate if your approach is feasible?
We deliver because we have the right mix of content craft, localization capacity, technical publishing skills, and community channels. The workflow: produce a single high-quality English master, then localize with native translator–technical reviewer–editor triads. Our Production & Tech Lead runs a reproducible DTP and ePub pipeline (versioned repo), ensuring consistent quality across languages and fast iteration on proofs. Community partners in Japan and Vietnam are pre-briefed for beta reads and launch placements, enabling immediate distribution and classroom adoption.
Feasibility is guaranteed by staged, auditable delivery: manuscript → translated drafts → DTP proofs → ePub → Amazon KDP + print. Each milestone has clear acceptance criteria (peer reviews, proof sheets, ISBN confirmation, mint/redemption tests) that gate funding tranches. Risk mitigation: pilot small print + digital soft-launch to catch localization or UX issues; contingency budget for additional editorial fixes; legal review to ensure safe, globally compliant content distribution. Cardano Foundation and community education programs demonstrate existing demand and partnership potential for formal course adoption.

How does the cost of the project represent value for the Cardano ecosystem?
This project converts ADA into a durable, re-usable public good: a rigorously vetted Cardano primer in three strategic languages plus reusable visual assets and educator kits. The spend prioritizes content quality, localization, and distribution, not marketing fluff. Key value drivers: the open diagram library (reusable across slides, workshops, docs), buy-once print runs + Amazon POD for low ongoing cost, and the Cardano-marketplace experiment which proves ADA's utility in real commerce for educational goods.
Per-unit impact is strong: each ADA spent funds a content asset that continues educating indefinitely (digital editions) and seeds community-led teaching (print copies + slide kits). Costs are auditable — milestone deliverables, receipts, ISBNs and on-chain marketplace logs will accompany each tranche. The chosen scope (3 languages) focuses resources where Cardano already has traction, maximizing adoption ROI. The outputs are replicable: the repo and playbook allow other regions to re-run the project at a fraction of the initial cost. This yields a high leverage, low-risk investment for Cardano’s global adoption efforts.
