Who you’re targeting, how you’ll reach them, and why this matters for Cardano.
We target 500 Ethiopian women digital marketers to catalyze measurable on-chain Cardano adoption. Participants will create and secure wallets, stake ADA, mint NFTs, and produce high-quality local-language content accessible online and via WhatsApp. The top 20 graduates will serve as ambassadors, hosting monthly meetups and sustaining community engagement. This initiative accelerates Cardano adoption, generates verifiable on-chain activity, and establishes a scalable, women-led network with enduring ecosystem impact.
Provide a list of key activities of your project?
Develop and localize blockchain training materials for women digital marketers, including offline and WhatsApp delivery. Allocate ADA for hands-on wallet creation, staking, and NFT minting. Execute a 30-participant pilot, collecting on-chain metrics and engagement data. Scale to 500 participants with local-language content campaigns. Identify top 20 graduates as ambassadors, host 12 monthly meetups, sustain Telegram/WhatsApp knowledge-sharing, and implement a structured, long-term mentorship and ecosystem growth plan.
What are your success metrics?
Widespread adoption of Cardano wallets, active staking, and large-scale NFT issuance generate measurable on-chain activity and ecosystem growth. Participants produce 500+ local-language content campaigns and host monthly live Q&As reaching 100+ viewers. Top 20 ambassadors maintain active Telegram/WhatsApp groups and 12 monthly meetups. Pilot with 30 participants validates scalability. At least 30% engage in further Cardano projects within 6 months, creating a sustainable, women-led adoption network.
Please describe your proposed solution and how it addresses the problem
We will empower 500 Ethiopian women digital marketers to become Cardano Women Ambassadors, bridging the gap in blockchain literacy and adoption. The program combines hands-on blockchain experience, measurable on-chain activity, and strategic community growth.
Core Activities:
1,Hands-On Blockchain Training
2,Content Creation & Outreach
3,Ambassador Network Development
4,Pilot Program for Validation
Outcome:
This program will create 500 on-chain Cardano users, generate measurable NFT and staking activity, drive local-language adoption, and establish a sustainable, women-led ambassador network to grow Cardano’s ecosystem in Ethiopia.
Please define the positive impact your project will have on the wider Cardano community
This project will create 500 verified on-chain Cardano users in Ethiopia with staking and NFT activity, expanding the ecosystem. By empowering women digital marketers, it generates high-quality local-language content reaching thousands of new users and underrepresented communities. The Cardano Women Ambassadors network ensures sustained mentorship, knowledge sharing, and ongoing adoption. The pilot program validates scalability, providing a replicable, data-driven model for wider Africa. Overall, it accelerates Cardano adoption, strengthens community engagement, and builds long-term ecosystem resilience.
What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability? How do you intend to validate if your approach is feasible?
Our team combines proven digital marketing expertise and blockchain training experience. Lead, Biruk Zerihun, has successfully trained women in digital marketing programs in Ethiopia, demonstrating capacity to deliver high-impact, community-focused projects. Local blockchain mentors, educators, and translators provide technical credibility and cultural alignment.
Accountability will be ensured through:
On-chain tracking of wallet creation, staking, and NFT issuance.
Detailed reporting of content campaigns and audience engagement.
Transparent pilot program metrics to validate processes before full-scale rollout.
Feasibility validation includes:
A 30-participant pilot testing wallet setup, staking, NFT minting, and content outreach.
Iterative improvements based on pilot data to ensure scalable, replicable results.

Budget & Costs (60,000 ADA)
The total project budget is 60,000 ADA, allocated across six key categories to ensure effective execution, transparency, and measurable impact.
Training Materials & Translation (12,000 ADA / 20%)
We will design a comprehensive blockchain and digital marketing curriculum, translated into Amharic and other major local languages. To ensure inclusivity, the materials will also be adapted for offline learners through WhatsApp-friendly formats such as PDFs, audio, and short videos.
ADA for Practice Wallets (1,500 ADA / 2.5%)
To enable hands-on learning, each participant will receive a small allocation of ADA (~2 ADA). This ensures they can practice wallet creation, staking, and basic transactions with minimal exposure to ADA price volatility.
Marketing & Social Campaigns (18,000 ADA / 30%)
A strong focus will be placed on awareness and adoption through localized content campaigns. This includes Amharic-language videos, infographics, and community-driven social media posts, supported by live Q&A sessions and engagement campaigns to reach women and new blockchain users.
Meetup Logistics & Ambassador Support (15,000 ADA / 25%)
To sustain momentum, we will host 12 monthly city-based meetups, covering venues, refreshments, and transportation. Additionally, this budget supports the top 20 Cardano Women Ambassadors, enabling them to grow and sustain knowledge-sharing communities.
Pilot Program & Documentation (6,000 ADA / 10%)
A 30-participant pilot program will be executed to test the curriculum, wallet training, and NFT minting. Detailed reporting will capture on-chain activity, social engagement, and adoption metrics, serving as a foundation for scaling.
Contingency & Administration (7,500 ADA / 12.5%)
Finally, a contingency allocation is reserved for unforeseen costs, operational adjustments, and administration. This ensures flexibility and smooth execution across all phases of the project.
How does the cost of the project represent value for the Cardano ecosystem?
This project represents exceptional value for money because 60,000 ADA will create 500 on-chain Cardano users, each actively staking ADA, minting NFTs, and producing local-language content that reaches thousands of new users. By leveraging existing digital marketing skills and scalable community structures, the budget maximizes impact per ADA spent. The pilot program ensures efficiency and feasibility, minimizing risk and optimizing resource allocation. Additionally, the Cardano Women Ambassadors network ensures long-term ecosystem growth and knowledge transfer without requiring ongoing funding.
Outcome: Each ADA invested results in measurable adoption, sustainable community building, and a replicable model for Pan-African Cardano growth, delivering high ecosystem ROI.
