Please describe your proposed solution and how it addresses the problem
Cardano has built world-class infrastructure. Now it’s time to bring the people. Our solution is to ignite mass adoption in Africa through two unforgettable, culturally-driven Cardano onboarding festivals—delivered in partnership with Fatboy Studios (@fatboykenya), Pinto Coin, the Olympus Insights platform, and our growing African ambassador network.
We will host two 3-day mega events—one in Lagos, Nigeria, and one in Nairobi, Kenya—designed to onboard over 20,000 new users into the Cardano ecosystem, using food, music, humour, storytelling, and digital rewards to make blockchain fun, trusted, and accessible to everyone.
These events will combine the best of culture and Web3:
Real-time Cardano wallet creation
Learn2Earn education powered by OLi
AI-supported learning through the Zeus AI Tutor
Fatboy Studios’ viral creative energy (3M+ social reach)
Live entertainment, food, giveaways, and community connection
NFT rewards and Cardano-native credentialing
Public campaign content and open-source educational assets
This is not a conference. It’s a movement—a celebration of what Cardano can become when we bring in the people, not just the tech.
What Problem Are We Solving?
Africa is ready for blockchain, but Cardano hasn’t yet made its mark in everyday African life. Millions of people across the continent—especially in Nigeria and Kenya—are mobile-first, digitally curious, and often underserved by traditional systems. Yet despite being some of the most fertile ground for blockchain adoption, Cardano adoption here remains low due to:
A lack of real-world onboarding experiences
Low awareness of Cardano’s ecosystem and utility
No seamless wallet onboarding for new users
Crypto education that’s too technical or boring
A disconnect between Web3 and youth culture
If Cardano is to grow globally, it must become culturally relevant, locally trusted, and frictionless to enter. That’s exactly what this solution delivers.
Our Solution
We will host two landmark, back-to-back events:
Lagos, Nigeria – Home to Africa’s largest population and a rapidly growing crypto scene
Nairobi, Kenya – A leading East African tech hub with a youthful, Web3-curious population
Each event will run for three full days and be designed to attract 10,000+ attendees by blending blockchain onboarding with food, music, animation, community, and pop culture.
The events will be free to attend and inclusive—held in central, youth-accessible venues with safe public transport access. By making the experience social, energetic, and rewarding, we’ll capture a far wider audience than traditional blockchain conferences.
Every person who registers and attends will receive:
A Cardano-native wallet created on signup
Access to our AI-powered learning hub (OLi)
Eligibility for Learn2Earn rewards and NFT-based credentials
We expect to generate over 20,000 verified wallets, tracked transparently through our backend systems and tied to learning progression, surveys, and engagement.
This isn’t speculative growth—it’s tracked, human, and on-chain.
Attendees will complete short, gamified learning modules covering:
What is blockchain?
What makes Cardano different?
How does a wallet work?
What is staking? NFTs? Governance?
How can I earn, create, or build on Cardano?
All content will be delivered through our OLi platform, supported in real-time by our multilingual Zeus AI Tutor.
This creates a powerful feedback loop: users learn → earn → share → return.
To reach people who have never thought about crypto, we’re partnering with Fatboy Studios—one of East Africa’s most iconic animation and entertainment creators. With 3M+ followers, their viral character KaPinto brings humour, relatability, and trust to this initiative.
Pinto Coin is more than a meme—it’s a cultural symbol. The events will feature:
KaPinto-themed Learn2Earn animations
Custom campaign content and memes
Potential NFT collectibles tied to cultural moments
On-stage appearances, creator interviews, and giveaways
With Fatboy Studios on board, we’re not just reaching crypto Twitter—we’re reaching mothers, students, kids, dancers, hustlers, teachers, and the culturally curious.
These events are not run by outsiders. They will be delivered in partnership with:
Joseph Pius (Nigeria) – Country Manager, Olympus Insights
Mohammed Tariq (Kenya) – Country Manager, Olympus Insights
A growing team of ambassadors across The Gambia, Ethiopia, Cameroon, and DR Congo
These leaders will:
Engage schools and universities
Coordinate local vendors and event staff
Support wallet onboarding and learning progress
Capture authentic community stories for post-event video content
This isn’t just a one-off. After the events, we will:
Publish a full impact report with metrics and survey results
Release all education content under Creative Commons (CC BY 4.0)
Share wallet data (anonymised) and learning analytics
Upload a professional event video with community stories
Continue Learn2Earn campaigns with new users

How This Directly Solves the Problem
This solution:
✅ Bridges the trust gap through cultural leaders like KaPinto
✅ Eliminates onboarding friction through instant wallet creation
✅ Makes Cardano fun, visible, and desirable
✅ Gives every attendee value in the form of tokens, credentials, and knowledge
✅ Scales across Africa with reusable assets and templates
✅ Leaves a lasting public record of Cardano’s real-world adoption in action
Please define the positive impact your project will have on the wider Cardano community
This project will deliver one of the largest grassroots onboarding campaigns in Cardano’s history—bringing 20,000+ new users, wallets, and learners into the ecosystem from two of Africa’s most strategic regions.
By issuing over 20,000 new Cardano wallets, we immediately expand the community of people capable of staking, voting, holding native assets, using dApps, and participating in Cardano's decentralised future. These users aren’t bots—they’re real people, verified at in-person events, educated through AI-guided lessons, and onboarded via structured Learn2Earn modules.
Cardano’s growth depends on reaching new audiences. This proposal puts the platform in front of thousands of young Africans through high-energy, culturally relevant events that speak their language—literally and figuratively. The use of humour, animation (KaPinto), and entertainment turns Cardano from something technical into something relatable.
All educational content, AI prompts, lesson flows, and campaign materials will be published under an open-source licence (CC BY 4.0). These assets will be reusable by Cardano community hubs, educators, other Catalyst proposers, and ecosystem partners—amplifying the return on investment long after the events conclude.
By collaborating with Fatboy Studios and embracing Pinto Coin, this project shows the Cardano community that it can be fun, creative, and culturally inclusive—without sacrificing mission or quality. This strengthens Cardano’s identity as the blockchain where people belong, not just developers.
Working with respected, on-the-ground ambassadors in Nigeria and Kenya ensures the Cardano name is introduced through trust and familiarity. This is not an extractive marketing campaign—it’s a community-led activation with long-term roots.
Every learner earns tokens. Every wallet is real. Every activity is logged, tracked, and verifiable. This project contributes to wallet activity, token distribution, and verifiable engagement, all measurable through analytics dashboards and on-chain transactions.
What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability? How do you intend to validate if your approach is feasible?
Olympus Insights has the team, tools, and trusted reputation to execute this ambitious project across Kenya and Nigeria, and deliver on every promise with transparency and impact. From strategic partnerships and ambassador networks to real-time data reporting and platform scalability, we are uniquely positioned to onboard 20,000+ users to Cardano through immersive, community-first events.
Proven Track Record in Education, Web3 & Delivery
Our team has successfully built and scaled the OLi platform—an award-nominated Web3 education platform combining Learn2Earn, AI tutoring, blockchain credentialing, and creator monetisation. Since October 2024, we've onboarded over 72,000 learners, who have completed more than 290,000 lessons across topics such as financial literacy, blockchain, Web3 onboarding, and personal development. The platform is live and accessible at https://app.oli4education.io, demonstrating proof of both feasibility and traction.
The proposed events in Lagos and Nairobi build on what we’ve already delivered. They are not experimental—they are scaled implementations of a model that is already working across multiple countries.
Delivery Through Local Leadership & Trusted Ambassadors
Our success in Africa is driven by on-the-ground leadership. We’ve appointed trusted Country Managers with deep community networks, cultural fluency, and proven execution capabilities.
Joseph Pius – Nigeria
Mohammed Tariq – Kenya
Nebiyu Sultan – Ethiopia
Robyn Charles – The Gambia
Boaz Balume – DR Congo
Each country leader is responsible for mobilising local schools, universities, influencers, and community organisations to drive awareness and attendance.
We also engage Ambassadors—including educators, crypto advocates, and youth leaders—who will be paid and performance-tracked using our internal CRM and analytics systems. These individuals are already integrated into our ecosystem and understand the importance of Cardano in Africa’s financial future.
Strategic Media Partnership with Fatboy Studios
In Kenya, we are partnered with @fatboykenya, founder of Fatboy Studios and one of the most influential creators in East Africa. With over 3 million social media followers, Fatboy is not only a content powerhouse but a cultural icon. Through this partnership, we gain access to:
Viral promotional campaigns
NFT activations using KaPinto (from Fatboy Animations)
Street-level marketing and guerrilla tactics
Custom comic-themed Cardano education packs
This partnership will generate unprecedented visibility for Cardano and lend credibility with younger audiences who already trust Fatboy’s brand.
Technical Infrastructure: Real-Time Tracking & Verification
The OLi platform is built to support mass onboarding and reporting at scale. During the 3-day events in Lagos and Nairobi, attendees will:
Create a Cardano wallet (guided by our trained volunteers)
Access a curated “Cardano Onboarding” track on the OLi platform
Earn rewards for completing lessons, quizzes, and wallet tasks
Have their participation tracked via blockchain credentials
We use blockchain-based badges and analytics to track completions and wallets in real time. Each user’s participation is tied to a verified wallet ID and timestamp. This gives Catalyst voters and funders peace of mind that every ADA spent is tied to a verifiable outcome.
Risk Management & Feasibility Validation
We’ve run Cardano workshops, school activations, and Learn2Earn campaigns across Nigeria, The Gambia, Ethiopia, and Cameroon since late 2023. These real-world engagements have taught us:
How to incentivise learners effectively
Which topics resonate most in different communities
How to manage tech onboarding (wallets, blockchain concepts)
How to keep people engaged using games, prizes, and food
We’ll validate feasibility by piloting scaled-down “dry runs” at schools and university campuses in both cities prior to the events. These trials will inform final logistics and help us model crowd flow, lesson delivery time, and device access rates.
We also use Google Forms and internal surveys for post-lesson and post-event feedback, helping us rapidly iterate and improve.
Financial Controls, Cost Transparency & Accountability
We are a registered Pty Ltd company in Australia with an active financial services account and corporate wallet infrastructure. Our budget has been structured to reflect transparent line items, and we will publicly report on:
Wallet creation numbers (on-chain)
Lesson completions
Event attendance figures
Participant feedback
ADA spent per wallet onboarded (cost-per-impact)
All project updates, milestone reports, and budget breakdowns will be made available via GitBook and public-facing dashboards. We are committed to delivering with high levels of fiscal and social accountability.
Content & Platform Readiness
We have already developed 20+ Cardano-focused lessons that include:
What is Cardano?
How to set up a wallet
Intro to decentralisation
Staking, smart contracts, NFTs
Using blockchain for social good
These will be delivered through our OLi Learn2Earn platform—available on both desktop and mobile. Content is accessible in offline mode and can be preloaded for low-bandwidth environments.
Our platform supports:
Multilingual content (including Swahili, Yoruba, Hausa)
Gamification with reward pathways
Interactive AI Tutor (Zeus AI) to enhance engagement
Our Advantage: We're Not Starting From Zero
Most proposals that aim to onboard wallets or educate communities need months of prep. We don’t. We are ready now.
Our platform is live.
Our content is built.
Our team is deployed.
Our partners are engaged.
Our strategy is battle-tested.
We’re not just proposing an idea. We’re scaling an ecosystem.

How does the cost of the project represent value for the Cardano ecosystem?
This project represents exceptional value for the Cardano ecosystem. With a modest budget of 58,000 ADA, we aim to onboard over 20,000 new wallets in just 6 days across two of Africa’s most influential tech and cultural hubs—Lagos, Nigeria and Nairobi, Kenya. That equates to a cost of just 2.9 ADA per new wallet—an extraordinary cost-efficiency for such high-quality, high-volume adoption.
In addition to raw wallet creation, our event integrates:
Learn2Earn onboarding into Cardano and Web3
Fatboy Studios’ 3M+ follower reach across social platforms
Local ambassadors, schools, and universities as scalable distribution channels
Incentivised educational content, enabling retention and deeper engagement beyond the wallet itself
By combining on-the-ground presence, culturally relevant storytelling, and global media power, we ensure that attendees do not just create wallets—they enter the Cardano ecosystem with purpose and knowledge.
Moreover, our cost-per-wallet is dramatically lower than most marketing or user acquisition campaigns in crypto. This budget stretches further thanks to Olympus Insights’ infrastructure, our extensive African ambassador network, and strong brand collaborations.
Ultimately, this proposal transforms 58,000 ADA into:
A 20,000+ wallet onboarding milestone
A vibrant wave of Cardano-first Web3 citizens
Deep community roots in two of the most populous, youthful, and crypto-curious regions in the world
This is not just an event—it is a high-impact onboarding engine for Cardano in Africa.
