Does your project have any dependencies on other organizations, technical or otherwise?
Yes
Describe any dependencies or write 'No dependencies'
AIESEC in Ghana. They are a youth-led organization that has the platform for youths to explore and develop their leadership potentials. Hence, we would be using their platform to reach youths to onboard them
Will your project's outputs be fully open source?
Yes
License and Additional Information
The program will be open source as we will post videos of the student presentations on education on YouTube and other social media channels for the Cardano Community and the general public.
The program report in PDF format, conference photos, and a video synopsis will all be included in milestone reports
Please choose the most relevant theme and tag related to the outcomes of your proposal
Community Outreach
Who you’re targeting, how you’ll reach them, and why this matters for Cardano.
We are targeting university students and young professionals in the three new regions. We will reach them through AIESEC Ghana’s campus network, direct university visits, and social media campaigns. This matters for Cardano because youths are future builders, dReps, SPOs, and innovators whose early engagement ensures long-term adoption, participation in governance, and project growth across Africa
Provide a list of key activities of your project?
Partnership with AIESEC Ghana for access to student networks.
Campus marketing (digital campaigns + physical outreach).
Hosting three Cardano activation conferences (Kumasi, Takoradi, Ho).
Training sessions on wallets, Catalyst, and decentralized governance.
Onboarding participants to Yoroi wallets and Catalyst App.
Media documentation and open-source sharing of outcomes.
Post-event community engagement and student ambassador follow-ups.
What are your success metrics?
3 conferences held across 3 new regions.
150+ attendees (50 per region).
150 Yoroi wallets created.
150 Catalyst app sign-ups.
3 follow-up student communities formed.
3 public progress updates plus a final close-out report shared.
Post-event surveys showing increased awareness and intent to engage in Cardano.
Please describe your proposed solution and how it addresses the problem
We will extend our proven Cardano Youth Activation model to three new regions. In partnership with AIESEC Ghana, we will organize three in-person conferences that bring together students and young professionals.
Each conference will feature:
Educational sessions on Cardano, Project Catalyst, and decentralized governance.
Hands-on onboarding to wallets and Catalyst voting apps.
Guest speakers from the Cardano ecosystem to share real use cases.
Community engagement through Telegram/Discord groups and student ambassador follow-ups.
How it addresses the problem
By expanding into these regions, we ensure that more Ghanaian youths gain practical knowledge and access to tools that connect them directly to the Cardano ecosystem. This approach bridges the gap of limited regional outreach, builds a pipeline of future builders, dReps, and SPOs, and strengthens Cardano’s grassroots presence in West Africa.
Please define the positive impact your project will have on the wider Cardano community
This project expands Cardano’s grassroots presence in Ghana by bringing in 150 new young participants from three regions.
Through hands-on onboarding, these youths will:
Join Project Catalyst as new voters, proposal writers, and community reviewers.
Adopt wallets and learn how to transact, reinforcing Cardano’s usage in Africa.
Build local student communities that continue Cardano discussions beyond the events.
Contribute to ecosystem growth as future SPOs, dReps, developers, and entrepreneurs.
For the wider community, this means a more diverse and globally representative Cardano ecosystem, stronger African participation in governance, and an infusion of new perspectives and talent that can shape Cardano’s adoption and innovation.
What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability? How do you intend to validate if your approach is feasible?
Our team has a proven track record of executing blockchain education initiatives in Ghana with transparency and impact. As recipients of Fund13, we successfully organized three large-scale Cardano Campus Activation events in Sunyani, Accra, and Cape Coast, onboarding over 250 students into the ecosvstem.
This experience gave us both operational insight and a trusted reputation within the local community.
We are committed to upholding accountability through detailed reporting, transparent budgeting, and documented feedback from each event.

How does the cost of the project represent value for the Cardano ecosystem?
Through these conferences, young people in Ghana will get more awareness about the Cardano Blockchain and Project Catalyst, and they will be further encouraged to mainly use and easily adopt the Cardano Blockchain.
We can be sure that the majority of Ghana's youth will learn about the amazing opportunities that are accessible to them by holding events in three new regions of the country.
In addition to raising awareness of Cardona Blockchain and Project Catalyst, we believe this project would address Ghana's young unemployment issue.
