Education
Who you’re targeting, how you’ll reach them, and why this matters for Cardano.
We target Francophone communities across Africa and beyond: students, developers, and grassroots builders, often excluded due to the language barrier.
We’ll reach them through educational videos (YouTube, TikTok), articles (Medium, blogs), and engagement on platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, and X.
This matters for Cardano because breaking the language barrier fosters inclusion, drives global adoption, and empowers diverse contributors to join and build within the ecosystem.
Provide a list of key activities of your project?
Key Activity 1: Editorial, technical preparation and project coordination
Key Activity 2: Production of the first batch of content
Key Activity 3: Production of the second batch of content
Key Activity 4: Finalization of content and launch of the #CardanoFrancophone campaign
Key Activity 5: Collection of user feedback, production of final report and closing video
What are your success metrics?
Success will be measured by the creation of 150 contents (YouTube videos, TikTok/Facebook videos, Medium articles, blog posts, X threads), audience growth (+30% followers), high engagement (views, shares, comments), and positive feedback from francophone users. We aim to strengthen the presence and participation of French-speaking communities in the Cardano ecosystem.
Please describe your proposed solution and how it addresses the problem
Cardano is one of the most technically advanced blockchains, built on a rigorous, academic, and sustainable approach to decentralized finance, community governance, and smart contracts.
Despite this technological richness, the Cardano ecosystem suffers from a striking linguistic imbalance: almost all educational, technical, and informational content is available only in English. This creates a major barrier to access for French-speaking communities, particularly in Africa and other non-English-speaking regions.
Yet, the Francophone world represents a vast and rapidly growing population base. According tothe Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie (OIF), more than 321 million people spoke French in 2023, and this number is expected to reach around 715 million by 2050, with nearly 85% living in sub-Saharan Africa. This is not only a linguistic issue but also a global socio-economic opportunity.
Among the 88 member states and governments of the Francophonie, more than 30 have French as an official or widely used language. Many of them combine high population figures, a predominantly young demographic, and a strong interest in technological innovation. Here are a few key examples:
Unfortunately, Francophone participation in the Cardano ecosystem remains marginal. This is not due to a lack of interest or skills, but to the absence of accessible, understandable, and contextually relevant French-language content.
This linguistic gap deprives millions of young people, entrepreneurs, and developers of the tools, training, and opportunities Cardano offers.
This shortage of resources in French is evident across several key areas of the Cardano educational and community ecosystem:
This linguistic and educational divide not only slows the adoption of Cardano technologies in Francophone countries but also hinders active participation in blockchain innovation, community governance, and decentralized application development. Without accessible, contextualized, and high-quality content in French, the immense human potential of the Francophonie will remain largely underutilized within the Cardano ecosystem.
To address this educational and linguistic gap, our solution is to produce, publish, and promote a coherent set of educational resources about the Cardano blockchain in French, accessible to all segments of the population and delivered in various formats.
All these resources will be systematically shared on X (formerly Twitter), accompanied by attractive visuals, explanatory threads, and calls to interaction to boost engagement and reach.
This project’s approach is based on four key pillars:
Please define the positive impact your project will have on the wider Cardano community
Our solution offers a tangible and measurable expansion of the Cardano ecosystem within the Francophone world, delivering concrete and lasting results:
In summary, this initiative aims to create a virtuous cycle: more engaged users, multiplication of concrete use cases, increased circulation of ADA within the real economy, and a significant, sustainable expansion of the Cardano blockchain across the Francophone space, notably driven by a new generation of innovative Francophone entrepreneurs and developers.
What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability? How do you intend to validate if your approach is feasible?
The Goma Hub is one of the most consistent and committed community hubs in the Cardano ecosystem, active since 2020. Thanks to its strong local roots, technical expertise, and governance engagement, the Goma Hub has successfully carried out several educational initiatives, including Francophone summits, community workshops, and awareness campaigns. This project is therefore part of a long-term, ongoing effort.

The budget of this project is structured around 5 key milestones:
Milestone 1 – 4 700 ADA
Milestone 2 –12 000 ADA
Milestone 3 – 12 000 ADA
Milestone 4 – 13 166 ADA
Milestone 5 – 5 500 ADA
Total Coast: 47 367 ADA
How does the cost of the project represent value for the Cardano ecosystem?
The allocated budget of 47,367 ADA represents a strategic and optimal investment for several reasons, balancing scope, impact, and local realities.
This budget enables the creation of 150 diverse educational materials, including:
Producing this quantity of high-quality content, complete with professional subtitling, graphics, animations, and clear pedagogy, requires substantial expertise. The budget ensures consistent, high-quality output over 8 months, maintaining a strong digital presence in the francophone Cardano ecosystem.
The project relies on a proven, experienced team within the Cardano ecosystem, including community managers, content creators, technical experts, and coordinators. This budget allows fair and competitive compensation, ensuring the team remains motivated, reliable, and capable of delivering results comparable to international standards.
Beyond content production, funds cover essential community activities: coordination, engagement, promotion, social media interactions, contests, and live sessions. These efforts drive tangible adoption of Cardano in francophone communities, measured through views, interactions, and engagement metrics. The investment in community animation turns content into measurable impact.
The budget also covers the development of a professional graphic kit, rigorous editorial planning, multi-channel publishing, and transparent documentation on GitHub. This ensures structured project management, tracking, and accountability, aligning with best practices both locally and internationally.
Considering the economic context of Goma and the broader francophone Africa, the budget provides fair and competitive compensation relative to local living standards while remaining cost-effective. Paying in ADA further represents a durable investment, potentially appreciating over time.
In summary, the 47,367 ADA budget is a strategic, well-balanced allocation designed to generate sustainable and measurable impact on Cardano adoption in francophone communities, which represent approximately 321 million people worldwide. It ensures:
Every ADA invested is therefore positioned to deliver concrete returns for the Cardano ecosystem.
