The Cardano community struggles to understand on-chain governance and CIP-1694, partly due to the lack of a comprehensive and easily digestible source of information.
As a DRep training leader, I created a presentation that participants found easy to understand. I want to rework & expand the materials, then make them available to everyone interested in governance.
This is the total amount allocated to Governance in Pictures.

Governance
Who you’re targeting, how you’ll reach them, and why this matters for Cardano.
I am targeting everyone interested in governance, including those interested in the DRep role.
I'm a top 20 DRep with 13,000 followers on X, where I regularly share in-depth insights on governance and technology. During the DRep training period, I actively helped the community understand governance concepts.
Publishing these materials in a publicly accessible format will make them easy to find—especially when I highlight them through my platform.
Provide a list of key activities of your project?
I’ve already created a PowerPoint presentation with visuals on Cardano governance, but the accompanying text is brief. My goal is to enhance the visuals and expand the explanations to create a more comprehensive and accessible document.
The final product will be similar in purpose to CIP-1694, but designed for easier understanding—featuring clear visuals, tables, and concise, digestible text. This work will be publicly shared to support education and engagement within the Cardano community.
What are your success metrics?
The only measurable metric is how many people open the documentation. However, the true goal is to educate the community about Cardano governance—helping them understand why options like Abstain and No-Confidence may not be ideal, and potentially inspiring them to become DReps.
While the impact on understanding and engagement is difficult to quantify, it's the deeper purpose behind this work.
Please describe your proposed solution and how it addresses the problem
The Cardano community struggles to understand on-chain governance and CIP-1694, partly due to the lack of a comprehensive and easily digestible source of information. CIP-1694, in particular, is hard to read, contributing to a low active voting stake.
We need to activate the community to participate in on-chain governance.
As a DRep training leader, I created a presentation that participants found easy to understand. I've also shared many posts on X about governance, using images from the presentation, which received solid engagement and appreciation from the community.
I believe we should create a few new images and provide more easily digestible text related to governance, keeping it permanently available in a well-known place like CExplorer.
This work will be accessible to all community members interested in learning about governance. I believe that pages dedicated to governance can easily reach and even surpass hundreds to thousands (over a year) readers.
It’s important to note that measurable results from this project will only become clear after its completion. My articles on Cardano typically reach hundreds to thousands of readers, and my tweets are viewed by thousands to tens of thousands. Based on this track record, I expect the documentation I create to achieve similar reach within a year of publication.
What am I going to describe:
Please define the positive impact your project will have on the wider Cardano community
There will be a dedicated space providing a comprehensive overview of Cardano governance and all related topics. The benefit is that it will be created by a community member rather than a founding entity. By educating the community, we can foster a greater interest in governance, which will likely contribute to an increase in the active voting stake and interest in Cardano as a platform having working on-chain governance.
On-chain governance is one of Cardano’s key strengths, making it essential to have clear, accessible documentation—not just for the community, but also for businesses and investors who want to understand this important part of the ecosystem.
What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability? How do you intend to validate if your approach is feasible?
As a DRep training leader and top 20 DRep, I have extensive experience in educating others on this topic and have received positive feedback from course participants. I've held multiple sessions and continuously improved the presentation based on participant input.
I believe I have a good track record in the community as a good educator who can explain complex things easily. Please visit my X account @jaromirtesar.

Please provide a cost breakdown of the proposed work and resources
How does the cost of the project represent value for the Cardano ecosystem?
Cardano deserves a dedicated website detailing on-chain governance, as it is a key feature of its decentralization. This resource could serve both as an educational tool for the community and as training content about Cardano governance.
DRep training leaders received approximately 21,000 ADA for conducting online or offline training sessions for around 20 participants with pre-prepared materials. I plan to expand the scope (about 40%) to include other related but crucial topics, for roughly similar amount (part of the budget will go to reviewer(s) and the the web owner).
The final product will be accessible to the entire community. It will be a go-to place when it comes to governance.
