Community Outreach

This project will target gyoung, tech-savvy creatives in Kenya aged particularly those with an interest in blockchain, content creation, and digital entrepreneurship.
Linkberry will reach them through local radio campaigns, community meetups, blockchain workshops, and targeted social media ads on platforms like X, TikTok, and Instagram. Will also collaborate with local tech hubs and universities to tap into existing networks.
Educating and onboarding these audience will bring new developers, content creators, and ADA holders into the Cardano ecosystem, increasing transaction volume.

Many young, tech-savvy Kenyans want to explore blockchain but lack structured education and practical onboarding. Our solution is to deliver open-source Cardano training via workshops, webinars, social media, and local radio, supported by clear tutorials and guides in English and local languages. We will provide hands-on wallet setup, staking, and dApp usage to turn learners into active Cardano users. This approach closes the adoption gap, grows the ecosystem, and builds a self-sustaining local community.

I have experience in blockchain education, media production, and community outreach, including delivering tech content on Kenyan radio and creating Cardano-focused educational materials. The first phase will establish the foundation for the 1-year pilot program by securing a suitable training facility in Eldoret. The venue will be central, accessible, and equipped with stable electricity, reliable internet, and space for group sessions, hands-on practice, and collaborative work. Accessibility for people with disabilities will also be ensured.
At the same time, the project will acquire essential equipment to deliver high-quality training and content production. This includes five laptops with the required specifications for blockchain activities such as ADA wallet setup, dApp exploration, NFT creation, and video editing. Basic video production tools, a high-definition camera, tripods, lighting kits, and microphones will also be purchased to support professional-level educational and promotional materials. All equipment will be labeled, stored securely, and tracked through a usage log for accountability.
Recruitment will target 30 motivated participants for the first training cohort. Outreach will focus on young, tech-savvy individuals in Eldoret and nearby areas with an interest in blockchain, digital entrepreneurship, or content creation. We will promote the opportunity through partnerships with local universities, tech hubs, and community groups, as well as via social media and radio. Applicants will be selected based on motivation, growth potential, and willingness to commit to the program.
By the end of this milestone, we will have secured a functional and equipped training facility, acquired and set up laptops and video gear, and recruited 30 committed participants. This will ensure both infrastructure and human resources are ready for the training and production phases ahead.

A training facility in Eldoret is secured, fully functional, and equipped with stable electricity, reliable internet, and adequate seating/workspace.
Five laptops meeting blockchain training specifications are purchased, configured, and ready for use.
Basic video production equipment (camera, tripod, lighting, microphone) is purchased, tested, and operational.
30 participants are successfully recruited, verified, and enrolled in the program.

By the end of the Production & Community Engagement phase, the project will have delivered a strong portfolio of community-driven content and events that showcase the skills gained by participants while promoting Cardano adoption. A minimum of 60 short-form Cardano promotional videos will be produced, edited, and published on social media platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, and X (Twitter), reaching both local and global audiences.
The student-created NFT collection will be successfully launched on the Cardano blockchain, demonstrating participants’ ability to apply their training to real-world blockchain projects. This will serve as both a learning milestone and a community showcase, inspiring others to explore Cardano’s NFT ecosystem.
A Cardano community event will be hosted in Eldoret, bringing together participants, local blockchain enthusiasts, entrepreneurs, and Cardano advocates. This event will provide a platform for networking, idea-sharing, and onboarding new members to the Cardano ecosystem through live wallet setups and staking demonstrations.
In addition, a Cardano-focused podcast will be operational, featuring episodes with student creators, blockchain experts, and ecosystem news updates. This podcast will serve as an ongoing educational and promotional channel beyond the life of the pilot program.
Overall, this milestone will result in measurable growth in Cardano awareness, local adoption, and the creation of a skilled, connected, and engaged community capable of sustaining and expanding the initiative.

60+ Cardano promotional short-form videos are fully produced, edited, and published on at least two social media platforms with visible public access.
Student NFT collection is live on the Cardano blockchain, with verifiable transaction records and public listing on a Cardano NFT marketplace.
