This project is primarily designed for DReps, who will soon face key decisions about which technological path to take for developing Ouroboros Leios. The topic also interests developers and other community members, so I plan to organize online training sessions to help everyone understand the options and make informed choices.

As a DRep training leader, I have proven experience in organizing, preparing, and delivering online courses. I now plan to offer similar training focused on Ouroboros Leios. While the course will primarily target DReps, it will be open to all community members. This education will empower DReps to make informed decisions about Cardano’s technological development.
Preparation
In the first phase, I will create educational content about Ouroboros Leios and make it publicly accessible to the community. This material will remain available for future reference and can be reused for other educational purposes.
Next, I will prepare a presentation for an online training session, which will also be made publicly accessible and available for reuse.
The course will cover the following topics, among others:
Training
Online training will be organized in two milestones. The first series of training sessions will take place during milestone 2. Depending on participant interest, multiple sessions may be held. Each session will accommodate approximately 6 to 10 participants, with a total of 12 participants considered a successful milestone. DReps will be prioritized for participation.
The second series of training sessions will be held during milestone 3, following the same format and conditions as milestone 2.

Ouroboros Leios introduces changes to certain protocol features that many in the community view as essential or fixed. To achieve high throughput on Cardano, some compromises are necessary—and it's crucial that everyone, especially DReps, understands why.
DReps are expected to make informed decisions, yet not all have the technical background needed. My goal is to raise their understanding of Leios so they can evaluate its trade-offs and benefits with confidence.
I believe that interactive sessions—where participants can ask questions throughout—are often more effective for certain individuals than reading long, complex academic papers. This approach makes learning more accessible and engaging. I view this project as a valuable contribution to the community.

I’ve divided the project budget roughly into three equal parts, aligned with the project milestones. I rated the effort to create the materials similarly to the course organization in one milestone.
The project will be considered successful upon completion of Milestone 2, as that includes the delivery of the training sessions. Milestone 3 will proceed—and be funded—only if there is sufficient interest from participants.
In terms of costs, they are comparable to the DRep training organized by Intersect, where training leaders received 21,000 ADA along with access to training materials and additional support. In contrast, I will develop all materials independently, drawing from my existing knowledge of Ouroboros Leios and previously published resources.
How does the cost of the project represent value for the Cardano ecosystem?
Educating the community about the protocol has long-term value, as informed members can share their knowledge and help promote Cardano’s reputation. A deep understanding of Ouroboros Leios is especially critical for DReps, who will be responsible for making informed decisions about the technological solutions proposed by the Leios team.
