Connected Community
Who you’re targeting, how you’ll reach them, and why this matters for Cardano.
We target the Spanish-speaking community: developers, SPOs, students, and blockchain enthusiasts. We reach them through weekly podcast episodes, YouTube, Spotify, and social media. By offering content in Spanish, we reduce language barriers and support the expansion efforts of IOG and CF in Latin America. This matters to Cardano because awareness and engagement in new regions strengthen adoption, build trust, and bring fresh talent into the ecosystem
Provide a list of key activities of your project?
Weekly production of 2 podcast episodes on YouTube and Spotify, covering Cardano news, SPOs, and ecosystem projects. Educational content and tutorials in Spanish to lower entry barriers. Coverage of community events in LatAm, providing visibility and support to local initiatives. Active engagement with the audience through Q&A, social media, and feedback loops. Promotion of Cardano adoption by fostering knowledge, discussion, and community participation
What are your success metrics?
Reach more Spanish-speaking community members through weekly content.
Cover and share insights from key Cardano events in LatAm.
Keep good audience retention on live streams and replays.
Collect community feedback and testimonials.
Steady growth of podcast followers and engagement on social media.
Encourage sign-ups to our community channels.
Please describe your proposed solution and how it addresses the problem
Problem Statement
In Latin America, Cardano has grown steadily, but information gaps remain. Most content is in English, leaving Spanish-speaking audiences underserved.
Community events and technical developments often go uncovered in Spanish, and when they are, the quality is limited by lack of affordable equipment and production resources.
Traveling to events, renting cameras, and producing coverage is costly and unsustainable. As a result, Cardano’s presence in the region struggles to reach a wider audience, limiting community growth and participation.
Solution Overview
We propose to strengthen Descentralización Total, the longest-running Spanish-speaking Cardano podcast (active since 2021, 400+ episodes), by equipping it with the necessary tools to cover events and produce high-quality content at sustainable costs.
This includes:
Production Equipment: Cameras, audio, and editing gear to replace expensive rentals and improve video quality.
Event Coverage: Affordable presence at regional Cardano/crypto events to share interviews, panels, and on-the-ground insights.
Weekly Content: Continuation of 2 live episodes per week on YouTube, covering governance, SPO insights, community projects, and Catalyst updates.
Community Education: Free, accessible discussions on technical and governance topics in Spanish, reaching a broad audience.
By reducing production barriers, the project ensures wider, sustained coverage of Cardano in Latin America.
Value to the Cardano Ecosystem
Community Growth: High-quality, consistent Spanish content strengthens Cardano’s visibility in LatAm.
Event Amplification: Regional events and Cardano activities reach far beyond physical attendance through online coverage.
Governance Participation: Spanish-speaking delegators and SPOs gain clarity on governance processes, increasing informed participation.
Sustainability: Equipment investment ensures continuity without depending on rentals or unsustainable personal funding.
Synergy: Aligns with IOG and Cardano Foundation’s efforts to expand outreach in Latin America.
Feasibility & Deliverables
Outputs:
2 live YouTube shows weekly for 12 months (≈100+ episodes).
Event coverage (interviews, panels, documentaries) at key LatAm blockchain/Cardano gatherings.
Improved audio/video quality in all productions.
Community reports and feedback collection to assess reach.
Deliverables:
Sustainable media kit (cameras, audio, computer, lights).
Library of Spanish-language Cardano content, open and free.
Documented event coverage (videos, transcripts).
Transparent progress reports through Catalyst and podcast channels.
Auditability
Progress will be measured through:
Number of episodes published (target ≥100).
Event coverage documented (video + transcripts).
Audience metrics: YouTube views, retention, comments, social growth.
Community testimonials and survey feedback.
Equipment acquisition documented (invoices + usage reports).
Scalability & Long-Term Vision
This project lays the foundation for sustainable, professional-level Cardano content in Latin America.
Once equipped, Descentralización Total can continue producing without recurring rental costs, ensuring ongoing growth.
The long-term vision is to serve as a bridge between the Cardano ecosystem and Spanish-speaking communities, supporting adoption, education, and participation well beyond Catalyst funding.
Please define the positive impact your project will have on the wider Cardano community
The positive impact of this project is rooted in sustainability, accessibility, and inclusion for the wider Cardano community. Descentralización Total has been running consistently for more than 5 years, with over 400 episodes dedicated to explaining Cardano’s technology, governance, and ecosystem news in Spanish. Until now, this effort has been carried out with limited equipment, personal funding, and volunteer commitment. The result has been a trusted, widely recognized source of education and community engagement for the Hispanic world.
By securing professional-grade equipment through Catalyst support, we ensure that this work is not only maintained but significantly improved. Better sound, video, and production quality will allow us to reach more people, making Cardano content accessible and appealing to a broader audience. Importantly, this support reduces the cost barriers of covering community events: instead of renting equipment or depending on ad-hoc solutions, we will have the necessary tools to consistently document, stream, and report from regional meetups, conferences, and governance workshops.
This benefits the Cardano ecosystem in several ways:
Community Growth: Spanish-speaking audiences, often underserved, gain regular access to clear and accurate information.
Governance Participation: Delegators and SPOs can better understand governance updates and proposals, enabling more informed voting and engagement.
Ecosystem Visibility: Developers, builders, and community leaders in Latin America can showcase their projects to an international audience, fostering collaboration.
Sustainability: By equipping a long-running, proven community channel, Catalyst funding amplifies existing impact rather than starting from zero.
Ultimately, this project ensures that Cardano’s global narrative is not limited to English-speaking spaces. It strengthens inclusivity, builds bridges between local communities and the global ecosystem, and creates a sustainable channel that supports Cardano’s growth in Latin America and beyond.
What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability? How do you intend to validate if your approach is feasible?
Our capability to deliver this project is demonstrated by more than 5 years of consistent work with Descentralización Total, one of the longest-running Cardano-focused podcasts in Spanish. Over this time, we have produced more than 400 podcast episodes, dozens of tutorials, and audiovisual content such as a documentary on the first Cardano hackathon in Buenos Aires. Altogether, this amounts to over 500 videos dedicated to educating and engaging the Cardano community.
Our YouTube channel, Individuo Digital, has grown to over 12,000 subscribers, reflecting the trust and engagement we have built within the Hispanic-speaking audience. This track record shows not only our ability to create regular, high-quality content, but also our commitment to maintaining continuity and transparency over time.
We have validated our approach through direct engagement: consistent viewership, strong community feedback, and ongoing collaborations with developers, SPOs, and governance participants across Latin America. By equipping ourselves with better tools, we will continue to scale this proven model of impact, making content more professional, accessible, and sustainable.
This history of delivery proves the feasibility of the project: what we propose is not experimental but an enhancement of a working model. The combination of experience, community trust, and a clear focus on Cardano’s ecosystem ensures that the project can be executed successfully, with high levels of trust and accountability.

How does the cost of the project represent value for the Cardano ecosystem?
The funding request for Descentralización Total is a strategic investment to enhance both the quality and the reach of Cardano content in the Hispanic ecosystem. Here’s why it represents strong value for money:
Quality Production: Funds allocated to software and equipment directly improve production standards. Streamyard’s annual license enables multi-platform distribution, while upgrades to microphone, lighting, camera, and computer ensure professional-level content that meets global standards.
Market-Adjusted Costs: All expenses are aligned with average market rates in Latin America. A $1,000 monthly stipend for the host ensures professional dedication to content creation, consistent with regional benchmarks for skilled creators.
Proven Track Record: With over 5 years of continuous work, 400+ episodes, 25 tutorials, one documentary, and the ALBA graduation teaser, our team has demonstrated sustained commitment and capability. The requested funds will consolidate this track record and scale our output.
Community and Regional Impact: Beyond the weekly podcast, we will expand coverage to regional events, providing the community with accessible, timely, and high-quality content. This strengthens Cardano’s visibility in Latin America and supports the expansion efforts of IOG and CF in the region.
Long-Term Value: This is not a one-off project. The improvements in quality and reach will persist well beyond the funding period, creating sustained impact and reinforcing Cardano’s position in one of the fastest-growing blockchain markets.
