The Africa ADA Show: A Catalyst YouTube Series

Problem

African blockchain innovations lack visibility; many projects are undocumented or fragmented, making it hard for communities and investors to discover and support them.

Solution

A 12-month documentary-style YouTube series (40 episodes) covering African blockchain projects, with focus on Cardano where possible, to educate, connect, and inspire communities.

About this idea

Team

The Africa ADA Show will be delivered under the direct supervision of the Project Lead, who acts as head supervisor and quality controller. While much of the operational work (research, filming, editing, design, community outreach) will be executed by specialized collaborators and contractors, the Project Lead will maintain ultimate responsibility for approvals, strategic direction, and alignment with Catalyst goals.

  • Project Lead (Supervisor): Provides vision, oversees all deliverables, approves final outputs, manages partner relations, and ensures accountability.
  • Content Producers & Researchers: Conduct regional research, draft scripts, identify guests, and prepare localized storylines.
  • Videographers & Editors: Capture high-quality footage across Africa and produce polished 40–80 minute episodes with motion graphics, subtitles, and accessibility features.
  • Community Managers: Build and maintain relationships with crypto communities across Africa, coordinate AMAs, and amplify reach through grassroots channels.
  • Translators & Subtitlers: Ensure inclusivity by producing bilingual subtitles (English + local African languages such as Swahili, Amharic, French, Arabic).
  • External Advisors (SMEs): Review technical accuracy for blockchain-related content, especially Cardano-specific integrations.
