[Campaign Category] Category Questions
Who you’re targeting, how you’ll reach them, and why this matters for Cardano.
We target Vietnamese university students, lecturers, and early-career developers especially in IT, economics, and engineering majors. We will reach them via partnerships with top universities in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang, official student clubs, lecturer networks, and social media promotion. This matters for Cardano because it builds early awareness, nurtures skilled contributors, and strengthens Cardano’s presence in a strategic, high-potential market where competitors like Solana and Ethereum are already active.
Provide a list of key activities of your project?
- Organize 10 in-person workshops at major Vietnamese universities.
- Invite 2 experienced Cardano speakers per event.
- Develop educational materials (slides, mini-quizzes, printed handouts).
- Conduct interactive sessions covering Cardano’s ecosystem, governance, DeFi, and Project Catalyst.
- Distribute gifts and certificates to attendees.
- Promote events through online/offline channels and university media.
- Record and publish workshop videos as open-source resources.
What are your success metrics?
- 10 workshops completed in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang.
- Total 800–1,200 attendees across all events.
- Minimum 200 students join Cardano-related online communities after the workshops.
- At least 50 student-led projects or initiatives start building on Cardano within 6 months after events.
- Workshop videos achieve 5,000+ views online within 3 months of publication.
[Your Project and Solution] Solution
Please describe your proposed solution and how it addresses the problem
1. Problem We’re Solving
Cardano’s presence in Vietnamese universities remains limited, while our competitors such as Solana, Ethereum, Polkadot, and Avalanche are actively promoting themselves on campuses and have already attracted many potential students and developers. The current learning resources and materials for accessing the Cardano ecosystem are still a major barrier for Vietnamese students, making it difficult for them to engage. This results in low brand recognition for Cardano and fewer opportunities for growth.
2. Why a University Workshop Series?
Universities are the largest “talent ecosystems” in Vietnam they not only nurture the future pillars of the workforce but also serve as breeding grounds where big ideas can become reality. We aim to organize a series of workshops to help Vietnamese students access Cardano earlier and develop a mindset aligned with the Cardano vision. Students will be able to directly engage with speakers and well-known founders in the ecosystem, gaining inspiration for innovation and entrepreneurship on Cardano. This will open more job opportunities and drive stronger development of the Cardano ecosystem.
3. Solution Details
We will organize a series of 10 educational workshops to raise awareness about Cardano, focusing on major cities in Vietnam such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang. These cities are home to numerous government agencies, top-tier universities, and leading national institutions, as well as a high concentration of technology, engineering, and blockchain companies.
Format & Scope:
- 10 workshops (including 7 workshops in Hanoi, 2 workshops in Ho Chi Minh city and 1 workshop in Da Nang city), each 2 hours, at major universities (live, presented in Vietnamese).
- Comprehensive educational content about the Cardano ecosystem.
- Target audience: 80–100 students and developers per workshop.
- Development of academic slides and structured learning materials.
Workshop Topics Include:
- Introduction to the Cardano ecosystem and its potential.
- Key applications in the ecosystem: decentralized governance, DEXs, etc.
- Development and entrepreneurship opportunities on Cardano.
- Introduction to Project Catalyst.
- Strategic vision for Cardano.
Organization & Implementation:
- Speakers: 2 per workshop (all with experience building on Cardano).
- Organizers: Blockchain Pioneer Student Club in collaboration with universities, lecturers, and campus media units.
- Materials: Presentation slides, mini-quizzes, and handouts.
4. Importance to Cardano
- Expand presence in Vietnam: Increase Cardano’s brand recognition in a young, high-potential talent market.
- Build a sustainable developer & advocate pipeline: Transition participants from awareness → accurate understanding → active community involvement, creating future contributors.
- Safe & high-quality onboarding: Vietnamese-language education with a strong focus on security and correct practices reduces risks and improves user/project retention.
- Boost local adoption & ecosystem growth: Connect universities, clubs, and companies to create internship pipelines, hackathons, and collaborations for dApps, DID, DeFi, and non-speculative NFTs.
5. Why Expand Cardano in Vietnam?
[Your Project and Solution] Impact
Please define the positive impact your project will have on the wider Cardano community
This project will deliver a significant and measurable positive impact on the Cardano ecosystem by:
- Expanding Cardano’s presence in Vietnam – A strategic, high-growth market for blockchain with one of the highest crypto adoption rates globally. By introducing Cardano directly to 800–1,200 students across 10 major universities, we ensure brand awareness in a young, high-potential developer community.
- Building a sustainable developer and advocate pipeline – Early exposure, localized educational resources, and direct engagement with experienced Cardano builders will help transition students from awareness → accurate understanding → active contribution.
- Improving user quality and safety – Vietnamese-first education, focusing on wallet security, responsible dApp usage, and fundamental concepts (eUTxO, governance, DeFi) reduces onboarding risks and fosters long-term ecosystem retention.
- Strengthening local adoption and partnerships – By collaborating with student clubs, lecturers, and university departments, we seed on-campus communities that continue Cardano-related activities after the project ends.
- Creating reusable, open-source educational resources – All slides, handouts, and mini-quizzes will be published under open licenses (CC BY 4.0 / Apache-2.0) to enable replication in other cities and countries, contributing to Cardano’s global education toolkit.
- Catalyzing ecosystem participation – Participants will be encouraged and guided to join Project Catalyst, attend hackathons, and apply for internships in Cardano-related projects, increasing the active contributor base.
Measurable KPIs
To ensure that the impact is measurable and trackable, we set the following target values:
- Workshops delivered: 10 workshops (7 in Hanoi, 2 in Ho Chi Minh City, 1 in Da Nang).
- Total participants reached: ≥ 800 students from IT and Economics majors.
- Positive feedback rate: ≥ 80% “satisfied” or “very satisfied” from post-event surveys.
- Cardano community engagement: At least 20% of participants join Cardano community channels.
- Core contributor pipeline: ≥ 50 students actively contributing to Cardano-related projects or events within 6 months.
- Ecosystem Promotion: ≥ 50 new ideas and quality projects proposed by students.
- Open educational resources published: 10 slide decks, 10 handouts, and 10 mini-quizzes under open license (CC BY 4.0 / Apache 2.0).

[Final Pitch] Value for Money
How does the cost of the project represent value for the Cardano ecosystem?
The proposed budget is highly cost-effective given the scale of impact. With less than 59,375 ADA, we will directly reach 800–1,200 students, lecturers, and developers from Vietnam’s top universities one of the world’s fastest-growing crypto markets.
Each workshop will not only deliver valuable Cardano-focused education but also seed the creation of a nationwide Cardano Student Community. This core group will become future advocates, builders, and innovators for the ecosystem. They will act as multipliers sharing knowledge, onboarding new members, and initiating projects that strengthen Cardano’s presence in Vietnam and beyond.
The long-term value extends beyond the student audience. By fostering visible, active communities, this initiative can attract interest from governments, entrepreneurs, organizations, and investors, further accelerating Cardano adoption. The cost per participant is minimal compared to the potential lifetime contribution of skilled, engaged community members who will support Cardano’s growth, development, and global recognition.
