d-FCT’s MVP deployed key on-chain features, but lacks full integration between smart contracts and its frontend, limiting use of the system for fact-checking, DFC token rewards, and governance actions
We’ll fully integrate smart contracts into the d-FCT UI, enabling users to publish, vote, and manage rewards. UX will improve with scores, multilingual support, and optimized fact-checking flows.
This is the total amount allocated to d-FCT: Smart Contract Integration and Feature Refinement.

Does your project have any dependencies on other organizations, technical or otherwise?
No
Describe any dependencies or write 'No dependencies'
No dependencies
Will your project's outputs be fully open source?
No
License and Additional Information
All backend components and smart contracts for provenance and governance will be fully open source under the MIT license, with code published on GitHub for public access, inspection, and contribution.
The ReactJS frontend, however, will remain closed source, as it is tightly integrated with proprietary LLM pipelines and third-party services essential to the platform’s functionality.

Describe what makes your idea innovative compared to what has been previously funded (whether by you or others).
d-FCT introduces a novel fact-checking architecture combining content provenance, reward distribution, and decentralized governance on Cardano. It links AI-driven content analysis with on-chain workflows, where community members can submit, verify, and govern fact-checking topics transparently. The use of dynamic smart contracts for topic lifecycle and reward pools distinguishes it from static reputation or moderation systems.
Describe what your prototype or MVP will demonstrate, and where it can be accessed.
The MVP demonstrates content submission, semantic breakdown, and fact-checking contributions tracked via Cardano smart contracts. Users can publish topics, validate claims, and vote on governance proposals using CIP-30 wallets.
Describe realistic measures of success, ideally with on-chain metrics.
The following metrics could be observed:
Please describe your proposed solution and how it addresses the problem
The project will bridge the gap between the Plutus smart contracts (already developed) and the frontend. Using Lucid and CIP-30 wallet standards, the ReactJS UI will support full lifecycle interactions with Cardano smart contracts, including topic publishing, reward pool creation and distribution, and governance proposals. This integration enhances decentralization and ensures transparent on-chain fact-checking.
Please define the positive impact your project will have on the wider Cardano community
A full-fledged UI is key to perform all the designed smart contract functions to increase Cardano’s on-chain activity, introducing a novel fact-checking use case where users contribute and validate information through transactions. It will foster community-driven governance and reward mechanisms, aligning with Cardano’s vision of decentralized knowledge validation.
What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability? How do you intend to validate if your approach is feasible?
Our team has solid experience in blockchain technology, data analytics, and AI. We have successfully delivered a Decentralized Fact-Checking Toolkit project on Catalyst Fund 13 (1300076) and have an ongoing project also on Catalyst Fund 13 to leverage LLMs on an analytics platform (1300034).
MOBR Systems has successfully delivered a functional d-FCT MVP, demonstrating both technical capability and commitment. We have published code and validated feasibility with working Plutus scripts on the deployed MVP. The requested funding will ensure the complete delivery of an integrated, user-ready platform.
