DAO tools not targeting real-world organizations

Most existing DAO tools mainly serve blockchain-native projects, with little focus on practical adoption by enterprises, NGOs, or real-world communities. This limits mainstream utility and adoption.

DAO fragmentation on Cardano

There is currently no centralized portal to discover and track Cardano-based DAOs in one place. Community members often rely on social media, Discord, or word-of-mouth to find their DAO activity, which is inefficient and discourages participation.

Lack of native DAO tools tailored for every users on Cardano

Most DAO tools are designed for EVM-based chains and do not support Cardano-specific features like extended UTxO, multi-sig native scripts. Users are forced to explore one-by-one

Poor user experience & high technical barrier

Setting up a DAO on Cardano currently requires deep knowledge of wallet integration, off-chain logic, and on-chain script constraints. There’s no user-friendly platform offering guided UI/UX to define DAO types, voting mechanisms, treasury rules, or member roles.

D4E will deliver a prototype and testnet-ready MVP for a Cardano DAO platform, designed to demonstrate the core features needed for real-world adoption by enterprises, NGOs, and communities.

This initial version will validate the concept, showcase native Cardano integration, and provide a functional test environment for governance innovation.
