Agentic AI and LLMs already have a profound impact how we work. Our DRep AI Assistant will showcase cutting edge reasoning and information retrieval capabilities, while being narrowly focused on Cardano, web3 and issues of collective decision making and technical architecture. There currently is no similar product, providing support for Stake Pool operations, Reeve treasury management for enterprise on a highly specialized domain. This can be developed into ready-to-ship products post MVP development that boost new Cardano adoption as well as educate and enable current stakeholders.

The finished MVP will be able to respond intelligently and correctly to inquiries about Cardano governance, values and historic milestones, technical blockchain and development issues and topics of political science, governance or philosophy. It will require authorization with dRep keys or role token, and enable metering compute with testnet tokens to broaden the appeal and use cases of the open source MVP.

The percentage of very good or good answers should clear a certain threshold (i.e. 80%) based on a first user cohort. On-chain proof of dRep login and use. Number of tokens issued and consumed. The concept/MVP will most likely be limited to free testnet usage, so the number of trials and tokens can be fairly high for State of Milestones. Amount of on-chain data within the training dataset. Amount of "crude data" measured in data chunks and GB.

Overview

As Cardano's governance and enterprise adoption mature, decision-makers across the ecosystem require specialized knowledge that exceeds any individual's capacity. The Cardano Values & Governance AI Assistant addresses this critical information gap by providing expert-level guidance trained exclusively on verified Cardano ecosystem data, constitutional principles, and enterprise implementation best practices. It will be trained on Sapient’s comprehensive dataset that we collected from across official documentation, ecosystem resources and open source contributions as well as our team members, who have been active as funded proposers, CA/PA/CR, MR, DReps, parsing community Telegram channels, the Forum, CSpot and Github technical documentation.

Building on our successful Fund-11 AI development track record and experimental Small Language Model, we propose a comprehensive chatbot and assistant that serves all community members with special focus on in-depth knowledge of Cardano values, roadmap and technical architecture, academic publications and research of founding entities, Project Catalyst knowledge and open source tooling.

Active DReps managing delegated voting power need sophisticated analysis capabilities for treasury decisions and constitutional compliance. Sapient Predictive Analytics received Catalyst funding for two proposals in Fund-11 and successfully closed out both within the agreed timeframe. Although this proposal is not a continuation of the project Catalyst System Improvement, which focused on data analysis and recommendations for Catalyst, it extensively explored AI for Cardano - LLM with many Catalyst and Cardano datasets included in its training, including several years of 4 different Telegram channels chat history, all previous voting, proposal, community assessment and moderation information, among others. Experimenting with many open source LLMs, generative AI custom agents, Cardano data, LangChain and Llama 3.1. for the purpose of a secure, specialized ecosystem application put us in an excellent position to provide a highly customized DRep suite of AI assistance and support.

Our team has been providing community advisory and mentoring since Fund-7 and team members continuously participated in Challenge Teams (Boosting Cardano DeFi, Developer Ecosystem, Great Migration from Ethereum to Cardano, dRep Improvement), and GeniusX ambassador. We have worked closely with Singapore-based venture funds, launchpads and government agencies to boost the startup ecosystem and innovation since 2018.

Team members have worked decades in TradFi markets, hold Master of Finance and quantitative finance degrees and work with financial and commodity companies for trading, risk management and decision making software.

Sapient Predictive Analytics has been in the data science, machine learning and collective intelligence space since 2018, winning awards and recognition in Singapore and beyond. We have previously worked with Fraunhofer Institute, Macquarie bank and many small and medium size companies for their decision making, governance, data analytics and trading desks.

Our platform is already designed to support token launches and Real-World Asset (RWA) integration, which means the core infrastructure is in place. By leveraging Cardano’s native features, such as Plutus smart contracts, and integrating existing tools like Chainlink oracles for cross-chain functionality, the technical foundation is well-prepared for this solution.

Our funded Data-Driven Catalyst system improvements proposal developed an experimental Small Language Model for Catalyst-specific queries, for example to give new users a simple and interactive way to learn about complicated topics across fund rules, timeline, requirements and good proposal drafting, the community review and moderation process, onboarding and milestones, proof of achievement and project close-out. Scaling the AI for general fluency and the wider Cardano ecosystem and vast sources like Github, Forum, CSpot, X, Discord, Telegram, with special focus on replacing outdated technical information with newer sources and looking for nuanced contribution to the discussion with arguments from all sides.
