CCC is the first open-source framework to connect Cardano wallet asset ownership with major social platforms, starting with Discord. Unlike existing tools for other blockchains (Guild.xyz, Collab.Land), CCC uses CIP-30 and the CAP API for direct on-chain verification, enabling secure, automated role assignments, governance, and access control tailored to Cardano’s unique asset model.

The MVP will be a functional Discord bot and backend service allowing users to verify Cardano wallet ownership via CIP-30 and receive automated role assignments based on ADA, CNTs, or NFT holdings. The source code and setup guides will be available on MOBR’s GitHub under Apache 2.0.

Cardano Community Connect introduces asset-aware social integration for Cardano, starting with Discord. The platform includes:

• Discord Bot: Written in Node.js, using signed nonces for wallet authentication and querying CAP’s API to verify asset ownership. Role assignment is based on customizable logic (e.g., ADA balances, specific NFT policies).
• Backend Server: PostgreSQL-backed service storing wallet-user bindings, ensuring persistence and traceability.
• Frontend Portal: ReactJS interface enabling Discord OAuth and Cardano wallet integration (via CIP-30-compatible wallets like Eternl and Lace).
• API: Developer-facing REST API for integrating Cardano-based role management into dApps, social platforms (e.g., Discord, X, and telegram bots), games, and other community tools.

Security and decentralization are core to the platform, with potential use of IPFS and decentralized identifiers. Future expansions will bring the same features to Telegram (via Bot API) and X (via developer APIs).
