Millions of sensors create valuable data, but most is siloed or costly. Without efficient micro-payments, creators aren’t rewarded and users lack affordable access.
SenseEarn_Sensor uses Smart Contracts + Hydra to batch micro-payments, rewarding sensor owners with tokens and giving users fair, tiered access through a scalable, trustless marketplace.

IoT
Describe what makes your idea innovative compared to what has been previously funded (whether by you or others).
SenseEarn_Sensor is a Hydra-powered sensor data marketplace combining global sensor mapping, tiered subscription access, and Hydra micro-rewards for contributors. Unlike existing IoT platforms, it uses blockchain to verify data ownership, ensure provenance, and enable instant payouts. Sensors are discoverable via a public map/gallery with reference images, while advanced datasets (LiDAR, spectral) are unlocked by subscription tiers, creating a scalable incentivized network.
Describe what your prototype or MVP will demonstrate, and where it can be accessed.
Our MVP will showcase: sensor registration with reference image upload, automatic geo-tagging, public gallery/map browsing, subscription-based access control, and on-chain conversion of Sense Points to Sense Tokens via Cardano smart contracts, and large-scale micro-reward distribution at negligible cost with Hydra integration. Early MVP access will be open to Catalyst community testers and pilot partners.
Describe realistic measures of success, ideally with on-chain metrics.
We will track on-chain metrics such as number of Sense Token reward transactions, Hydra payout volume, token holder growth, and unique verified sensors registered. Platform metrics includes active subscribers/month, total datasets uploaded, and subscription tier distribution.
Please describe your proposed solution and how it addresses the problem
SenseEarn_Sensor bridges the gap between sensor data creators and data consumers through a simple, intuitive, and trustless Hydra-powered sensor data marketplace.

Milestone Title
Web platform with Sensor Registration & Data Display
Milestone Outputs
We’ll build the core web app using Turborepo to share authentication (Clerk), database (Convex), and UI. The web platform will allow sensor owners to register sensors with a unique reference image, auto geolocation, and basic metadata. Enable file uploads in supported formats (JSON, CSV, images, LiDAR, spectral). Create a public gallery and interactive map showing registered sensors, with filtering by type and location.
Acceptance Criteria
Evidence of Completion
A live public demo, feedback from community testers, Convex performance logs, and our open GitHub repository showing all the code, API docs, and deployment details.

Milestone Title
Subscription Tiers & Smart Contracts & Hydra Integration
Milestone Outputs
We’ll integrate Smart Contracts to the platform so users can instantly swap Sense Points for Sense Tokens. Hydra Integration will prove large-scale micro-reward distribution at negligible cost. Launch tiered subscription system (Local, Global, Advanced) controlling access to live or historical datasets. Community testers will be able to redeem rewards directly through their wallet. Integrate Sense Token burn mechanism funded by marketplace revenue to support token value.
