Business Services
Describe what makes your idea innovative compared to what has been previously funded (whether by you or others).
TrImEx introduces a novel blockchain-based solution for Brazilian foreign trade, leveraging Cardano’s Plutus smart contracts to ensure transparent, immutable, and auditable tracking of Import Declarations and transaction histories. Unlike previously funded projects focusing on general blockchain applications, TrImEx targets a specific regulatory challenge in a high-stakes economic sector. Its integration of real-time compliance dashboards and AML-focused mechanisms sets it apart, offering a scalable model for global trade transparency not yet widely explored in Cardano’s ecosystem.
Describe what your prototype or MVP will demonstrate, and where it can be accessed.
The TrImEx MVP will demonstrate a dApp on Cardano’s testnet, enabling registration and querying of Import Declarations, linked documents, and transaction histories using Plutus smart contracts. A dashboard will allow authorized users to monitor trade data and flag anomalies. It will be accessible via a deployment URL shared on MOBR’s public GitHub repository, with setup guides and documentation for community interaction.
Describe realistic measures of success, ideally with on-chain metrics.
Success will be measured using clear, verifiable on-chain and platform metrics, including:
Please describe your proposed solution and how it addresses the problem
TrImEx will provide a modular, enterprise-grade dApp for trade transparency by:
Please define the positive impact your project will have on the wider Cardano community

What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability? How do you intend to validate if your approach is feasible?
Our team has experience in blockchain technology, data analytics, and AI. We have successfully delivered a Decentralized Fact-Checking Toolkit project on Catalyst Fund 13 (1300076) and have an ongoing project also on Catalyst Fund 13 to leverage LLMs on an analytics platform (1300034).
Our background in distributed systems development and data science techniques that we have experienced as former IBMers, makes our approach both feasible and innovative. We are confident in our ability to deliver the project successfully due to our track record in similar projects.

How does the cost of the project represent value for the Cardano ecosystem?
TrImEx brings value to Cardano by applying its core strengths (transparency, security, decentralization) to a traditionally opaque and critical sector: international trade. It demonstrates Cardano’s viability as an infrastructure for compliance, while driving real on-chain utility and network growth.
