[Proposal Summary] Problem Statement
What is the problem you want to solve?
Telegram & Discord trading on Cardano is mostly custodial-risky and limited. SNEKbot users want safer features in‑chat. We need a non‑custodial, strategy‑powered bot with in‑app referrals/claims.

Describe your established collaborations.
The Snek Foundation has built one of the widest networks of collaborations in Cardano. Beyond our core partnerships with Sundae Labs (DeFi infrastructure + strategies) and Anastasia Labs (smart-handle UX), we actively work with and support many of the largest projects in the ecosystem.
Through our initiatives, we’ve collaborated with wallet providers, DEXs, NFT projects, developers, and Cardano founding entities.
Snek Foundation has proven its ability to deliver products that directly drive adoption and on-chain activities — establishing us as a Tier-1 ecosystem builder and integrator.
Describe funding commitments.
The Snek Foundation has received and delivered on several Catalyst grants in the past (e.g. SnekFun launchpad, SecurityBot, SnekX, Splash, Frigid). These projects have already onboarded thousands of users, generated millions of transactions, and protected 100+ Cardano communities.
We actively co-invest our own resources alongside Catalyst support, ensuring delivery capacity is never compromised. Current and past commitments strengthen our position as a Tier-1 builder and give us the infrastructure to execute this proposal reliably, in parallel with ongoing work.
Describe your key performance metrics.
We will track:
- Unique wallets using non-custodial strategies (target: 5,000+ in 6–10 months).
- Total strategy volume executed.
- Orders created/updated/canceled via bots.
- Referrals created and claims processed in-app.
- Amount of SNEK burned through usage.
- External integrations leveraging our open adapters.
Dashboards and open-source artifacts will ensure transparency and verifiable impact.
[Your Project and Solution] Solution
Please describe your proposed solution and how it addresses the problem
We will evolve Snekbot into a non-custodial, strategy-driven Telegram & Discord trading experience that lets users create and manage Sundae v3 Strategy orders from chat, without pooled custody or depositing funds into a bot. Users hold keys; strategies hold funds on‑chain.
Workstreams / Phases of development:
1. Non‑custodial Sundae v3 Strategies (Milestone 1–M3)
- Telegram & Discord WebApp + wallet flow to create/manage strategy orders
- Non‑custodial toggle, deposit/withdraw UX, testnet : mainnet rollout
- Adapter library v1 (Snekbot ↔ Sundae Strategies)
2. Referrals, rewards, and optional SNEK burn (M2–M4)
- In‑app referral links, rewards ledger, and claims UI
- Optional SNEK fee burn with a transparent burn wallet and public verifier
3. Smart‑handle UX with Anastasia Labs (M3–M5)
- “Send to a smart handle” to place/upgrade an order
- Fallback path if handle unavailable
4. Advanced strategies via the Strategies marketplace (M4–M7)
- DCA, trailing stop loss, take‑profit & stop‑loss presets
- Saved configurations and safety prompts
5. Multi‑protocol support (M6–M9)
- Integrate two additional protocols via an adapter pattern
- Open‑source the adapters under a permissive license
- “Choose venue” UI with fees/liquidity hints
Why this approach:
- Security: Non‑custodial by default; users sign orders, hold keys.
- Adoption: Meet users in Telegram & Discord with pro‑grade features.
- Ecosystem: Reusable adapters and patterns for other bots and protocols.
Who we engage:
- Snek community (existing Snekbot users)
- Cardano traders seeking chat‑native, non‑custodial UX
- Protocol teams integrating via our adapter pattern
Proof of impact:
- On‑chain orders/volume, unique wallets, referral/claim data, SNEK burned, external reuse of adapters.
[Your Project and Solution] Impact
Please define the positive impact your project will have on the wider Cardano community
Value to Cardano:
- Safer trading norm in Telegram & Discord by eliminating custodial risk.
- Deeper liquidity utilization as strategy orders drive consistent DEX activity.
- Increased Trading volume to ensure sustainable levels of cardano treasury replenishment over time, by a saine defi ecosystem.
- Public goods in the form of open‑sourced adapters, docs, and patterns.
- Token alignment through optional SNEK burn tied to real usage.
KPIs (tracked monthly and at completion):
- Unique wallets using Snekbot non‑custodial strategies (target 5,000+ over 6–10 months; adjustable to market)
- Total strategy volume executed

- Referrals created, claims processed, total rewards redeemed
- Number of external integrations using our adapters
Sharing outputs:
- Public dashboards (volume, usage, burn)
- Open‑source adapters + SDK snippets
- Dev posts and walkthroughs (X/Twitter, Discord, docs)
- Final report and demo video
[Your Project and Solution] Capabilities & Feasibility
What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability? How do you intend to validate if your approach is feasible?
The Snek Foundation has already delivered multiple high-impact products in the Cardano ecosystem, including SnekFun (the #1 token launchpad), SecurityBot (protecting 100+ communities), and several successful Catalyst-funded initiatives. These projects have onboarded thousands of wallets, generated millions of transactions, and demonstrated our ability to execute at scale.
For this proposal, we are supported by Sundae Labs, one of Cardano’s most advanced DeFi teams, with proven expertise in designing and deploying Sundae v3 strategies and integrations. Together, our teams bring a combination of deep technical knowledge, strong product execution, and community trust.
Feasibility is ensured through a milestone-based delivery plan with clear acceptance criteria (e.g. number of orders, wallet adoption, adapter publication). Each milestone can be validated on-chain and verified through public repositories and documentation.
Feasibility & validation
- Joint technical design review between Snek and Sundae Labs.
- Testnet and staged mainnet releases per milestone.
- Independent security audit of adapters and critical flows.
- Public issue tracker with weekly work logs during active dev.
Fund management & accountability
- Multisig treasury managed by Snek with milestone-based disbursement.
- Monthly summaries on burn wallet, audit invoices, and infra spend.
- Code, docs, and milestone artifacts published on completion.
This combination of proven delivery, transparent validation, and external security oversight ensures that the project is both feasible and trustworthy.
