Please describe your proposed solution and how it addresses the problem
Our solution is to extend Strike’s perpetuals trading platform to support multi-chain access, enabling users from Ethereum (MetaMask), Solana (Phantom), and other ecosystems to seamlessly trade perpetuals on Cardano. Today, the majority of DeFi users remain siloed within their native chains. By removing this barrier, we make Cardano’s systems accessible to the broader crypto community without requiring them to abandon their familiar wallets or infrastructure.
We are inspired by the explosive growth of Hyperliquid, which demonstrated how a best-in-class perpetuals exchange can capture massive market share and drive liquidity in a short timeframe. By enabling cross-chain access to Strike on Cardano, we can replicate this growth trajectory and position Cardano as a serious DeFi hub, rather than a closed ecosystem.
This integration is unique because it leverages Mynth’s cross-chain infrastructure to bridge leading wallets directly into Strike’s Cardano-based perps market. Users benefit from:
The project engages active traders across multiple ecosystems, from DeFi natives on Ethereum and Solana to new entrants seeking reliable perps markets. This is important because these traders are the lifeblood of perpetual exchanges: they bring liquidity, demand, and visibility.
By lowering barriers to entry, we unlock growth potential for Cardano at a time when DeFi adoption is highly competitive. Just as Hyperliquid proved demand for fast, accessible, high-liquidity perp markets, we aim to replicate and amplify that success within Cardano by opening the doors to millions of users who would otherwise never engage with the ecosystem.
Please define the positive impact your project will have on the wider Cardano community
Broadening Strike with multi-chain access unlocks a wave of new users and liquidity for Cardano. By giving Ethereum and Solana (and beyond) traders the ability to connect through MetaMask, Phantom, and other familiar wallets, Strike removes one of the biggest barriers to adoption. Cardano stops being a closed ecosystem and becomes a hub where global traders can participate without friction.
How we’ll measure impact
We’ll define success through adoption and liquidity, not just technical delivery. Key indicators include:
These are clear signals of value flowing into Cardano, not just activity staying within existing circles.
How we’ll share progress
Impact only matters if the community can see it and share in it. We’ll keep results visible through:
Why this matters for Cardano
By breaking down barriers, we aim to replicate the explosive adoption seen with Hyperliquid, proving that Cardano can grow just as fast when made accessible to the global trading community. This is how Cardano evolves from an island into the crossroads of DeFi.
What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability? How do you intend to validate if your approach is feasible?
Our teams have already proven our ability to deliver complex, high-impact projects with no external funding by successfully building Mynth and Strike from the ground up. Over the past two years, we have worked tirelessly to bring true interoperability to Cardano, designing and deploying foundational infrastructure that is already enabling cross-chain connectivity.
Strike is Cardano’s leading perpetuals platform with rapid growth. Mynth is one of Cardano’s leading interoperability teams, with deep expertise in blockchain architecture, protocol integration, and wallet connectivity. Our prior work has given us both the technical knowledge and the operational experience to deliver on this proposal efficiently and to the highest standards.
Our approach to project delivery is structured and accountable:
Given our history, expertise, and established technical foundation, we are uniquely positioned to deliver this SDK quickly, reliably, and with full transparency to the Cardano community.
Milestone Title
Developer-Ready Integration
Milestone Outputs
Launch of mainnet interoperability between Strike’s ADA perpetuals and USDC and USDT on Base and Solana. Delivered in a developer-ready format for immediate integration into wallets and dApps without additional steps.
Acceptance Criteria
Live mainnet USDC and USDT flows out of Base and Solana into Cardano, allowing any non-Cardano user to open positions on Strike. No extra user actions are required, and performance is stable. Public developer documentation is online and sufficient for third-party integration.
Evidence of Completion
We will publish mainnet transaction hashes, a concise video showing value moving between Solana and Cardano, and release public developer documentation. Anyone can verify the hashes on-chain and reproduce the flow using the provided steps, confirming the milestone is complete.

Summary:
How does the cost of the project represent value for the Cardano ecosystem?
Unlocking seamless USDC and USDT access to Cardano perpetuals removes one of the biggest barriers preventing millions of traders on Ethereum and Solana from ever touching Cardano. By letting people keep the wallets they already know like MetaMask and Phantom, this integration funnels fresh liquidity and daily active users straight into Strike and, by extension, the wider Cardano DeFi ecosystem. Liquidity depth, transaction volume, and non-Cardano wallet counts become the proof points of that value, and each of those metrics is built into the project’s milestone-based roadmap and public reporting.
The teams behind the work have already demonstrated they can ship complex infrastructure without outside funding: Mynth built a production-grade interoperability layer from scratch, and Strike is already Cardano’s flagship perps exchange. That track record reduces execution risk and means Catalyst funds go directly to expanding usable functionality rather than paying for the learning curve of new contributors. Milestones are front-loaded with partially completed deliverables (some are already more than halfway finished) so the community gains live, mainnet functionality early in the three-month timeline and can verify it through published transaction hashes and real-time demos.
The outcome is more than incremental progress; it positions Cardano to replicate the kind of explosive adoption seen with Hyperliquid by making perpetuals markets instantly accessible to millions of traders. It’s a practical, high-impact step toward transforming Cardano from a closed ecosystem into a global DeFi hub.
