Who you’re targeting, how you’ll reach them, and why this matters for Cardano?
We’re targeting large corporations, SMEs and multiplicators (specalized press, other industry associations in the German-speaking countries. Cardano ecosystem representatives included, we are expecting up to 40 participants per event, ensuring that direct contacts are established.
Our member base represents a good part of German blockchain and crypto firms, ranging from BaFin-licensed custodians via tokenisation platform provider, tech integrators to large consulting firms such as Deloitte. This means that we can adress many industries through our members' client and partner base, and we want to leverage this as well as the tech ecosystems in Berlin, the finance center in Frankfurt and the industry clusters in other parts of Germany to turn our industry into a leading adopter of advanced blockchain tech.
Partnering with Cardano, but also featuring other lighthouse projects, we want to turn the GINI event series into a thought leadership accelerator forum to drive the adoption of interoperable, secure, efficient and new business-enabling blockchain and AI services.
By displaying the capabilities and adoption-readiness of services such as the masumi network ecosystem, highlighting stablecoin use cases, digital assets and tokenisation as well as SSID and wallet solutions, we aim to give impulses to industry leaderships and decision-makers in Berlin at the same time.
In order to underpin all the different event focus topics, we will invite representatives from the Cardano ecosystem and other leading innovation actors to attend prep meetings and select the best case studies, which will allow us to put Cardono’s capabilities and ecosystem o stage and offer all participants exposure to German corporates and benefit from their rising interest in progressing with blockchain tech adoption.
Masumi will of course be one of the lighthouse examples, since Serviceplan Group is headquartered in Munich. This will not only give us the opportunity to discuss current adoption in the marketing value chains in Germany and internationally, but also explain why multiplicators in the agency sector have opted to build advanced services on Cardano. Additionally, we will discuss the requirements to launch end-to-end compliant services and value chains under MiCAR and other European regulations, and how existing industry clusters in Germany can benefit from the adoption of digital identity solutions, corporate wallets, advanced cryptography and other important building blocks for innovation that can lead the Industry 5.0 movement.
Provide a list of key activities of your project:
Organize at least five ‘roadshow’ events in different cities, publishing summary documents and also selected recordings of presentations and interviews.
Prior to that, organize at least two prep sessions (online) to allow all Cardano ecosystem players as well as other multi-chain thought leaders to find their best event and be part of the discussions in a well-prepared way.
We also plan to have a numner of calls and meeting in Germany with the masumi network teams to discuss the best-suited topical breakdown, so that we complement the planned activities of the masumi ecosystem, Serviceplan Group and Cardano Foundation and fill the gaps & respond to market depments during the first half of 2026.
All of the GINI events will be covered on social media and by the specialized press (BTC Echo and others are also members of our association) and do a webinar at the end of the event series to summarize the findings, as well as handing over a call to action to members of the EU Commission (DG GROW) and MEPs.
What are your success metrics?
Success metrics will be to fill all the events, to assemble at least 10 supporters of the event series (such as the EU Commission, 3-4 neighboring industry associations, including actors such as German AI Association or the German Industry Association) and to disseminate the event materials, culminating in a position paper with broad industry support that will be handed over to German ministries and MEPs.
Additionally, we want to offer coverage about the lighthouse projects and related interviews to traditional as well as web3 and tech press.
Using the reach of our network of members and experts, we want to turn the GINI series into a role model - how innovation can be explained and disseminated at the right point of time, to the right people, and using the best-suited multiplicators to bring blockchain tech to the innovation forefront again.
And we believe that the German Blockchain Association is the right vessel to do this - since we are a neutral platform, and can both put projects on stage coming out of the heart of our membership base (and through Cardano being a member we can prepare the stage for the broader Cardano ecosystem) as well as frame the discussion in a way that puts innovation topics first, before giving the stage to projects and use cases that will then speak for themselves and trigger fresh thinking in the target group of traditional industry managers.
Please describe your proposed solution and how it addresses the problem
We will organize at least fives high-level roadshow roundtable sessions across relevant German (and potentially European) cities, including Frankfurt (financial industry), Hamburg (shipping & logistics), Munich (space & insurance), Stuttgart (automotive), as well as Berlin (government and medical), potentially also reaching out to Brussels or have one event in Vienna, Luxembourg or Zurich (depending of the value of the funding in the 2nd quarter of 2026)..
Each event will bring together leaders in corporate innovation and management, regulators, policy-makers, blockchain tech solution providers, as well as Cardano ecosystem members to discuss tech capabilities, use cases and adoption drivers in a strategic way - and with a call-to-action mindset.
The focus of the presented solutions and scenarios will be innovation first - and then on interoperable setups, including all exponential technologies. But blockchain is always presented as a relevant component, the underlying backend, or notary and automation layer, with the option to settle and gamify to drive efficiencies.
Participants and Speakers will be selected by Bundesblock - but we’re open for suggestions by Cardano and the community (that's why we will organise prep session in coordinate closely with Cardano, masumi & Serviceplan).
Our approach is educational and will be publicly documented. The solution addresses the problems decision-makers have in a fast-paced technical landscape and in increasingly competitive international markets. The fact that European industries and infrastructure planning have not kept pace with global technical progress must be addressed. This awareness has been heightened by the ‘ChatGPT moment’ of 2023 and the US push for private sector Digital Assets in 2025. In the 2nd half of 2025, the problems have been increasing in many of the traditional European industries - that's why now is a good time to not only talk, but initiate innovation and discuss about new approaches and assess how to best reach efficiency gains.
That’s why we suggest initiating this form of multi-stakeholder dialogues that produces actionable suggestions in and for the German-speaking markets.
This builds on the success Bundesblock has with our invitation-only events to top policy-makers and experts in Berlin, and the connections Bundesblock has via our Experts Board members, ranging from corporate managers at Bosch or SAP to leading European top university TU Munich.
The roadshow sessions are a high-impact policy tool that can add Cardano to the relevant set of solution providers for efficient industrial process innovation at the center of the European economy.
Please define the positive impact your project will have on the wider Cardano community
The GINI events will help to position Cardano at the forefront of industrial blockchain innovation and interoperability discussions, and also pave the way for future (joint) grant applications by German and European industry players, their service providers and Bundesblock and Cardano ecosystem members.
We believe that Cardano wanty and should collaborate more with traditional industry players, and that we can leverage the example of the innovation leaders that brought masumi to life in this market to send a wake-up call to relevant hubs such as Frankfurt or the media cities of Cologne and Munich.
Organizing those sessions will not only provide an opportunity for Cardano's lead projects to be visible in Germany, but also complement other Cardano activities during e.g Berlin Blockchain Week, strengthening the perception of its ecosystem to developers, solution providers and industrie firms.
At the events, there will be ample opportunities to underline Cardano’s technical and thought leadership via participation in discussions, strengthen Cardano’s local presence and credibility with corporations, industry associations and their respective membership base, as well as regulators.
This will contribute to boost Cardano’s mid-term industry adoption by helping decision-makers to understand and align themselves with blockchain-based innovation, and aim for end-to-end process capabilities, for AI agents, digital assets and identities, as well as efficient data use and process optimization through smart contracts, incentives and advanced cyber-security.
What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability? How do you intend to validate if your approach is feasible?
Our team has successfully delivered events all across Germany and in the neighboring countries, together with our members and partners, including high-profile venues such as the Berlin representation in Brussels, at the European Commission, at the German Parliament or at universities.
Our board members cover leadership positions at top consulting firms such as PwC and Deloitte, include former market authorities members, leading European lawyers and solution providers for custody, digital product passports, programmable money, AI and identity wallt solutions.
Our project lead, Sebastian Becker, Bundesblock’s Managing Director, is a recognized expert in industrial blockchain and governance, the main authof of INATBA’s Industrial Blockchain Task Force report (2024) and active in the industry since 2017.
We will provide access to the events’ results and accountability by committing ourselves to clear and transparent project milestones and audited performance via the Catalyst platform.
With this, we will ensure transparency and contact possibilities to all speakers, summaries and calls to action per industry segment and use case discussed, and suggest actionable to-dos and outcomes based on the spirit of each session.
Transparent budgeting and Cardano and Bundesblock community updates about upcoming events will be made available on time, so that every stakeholder who wishes to participate in one of the events will have the chance to attend at least one session.

Please provide a cost breakdown of the proposed work and resources
Event though the GINI event series will require a lot of prep work, this will be covered by our resources, and a good part of it will be pro bono contributions from our board members and experts.
For the events, we are calculating with 12.000 ADA per event, including Bundesblock admin team members’ time to organise and program the events, select and invite up to 50 people per event, selecting the right venue partners and hospitality / catering (if not covered by location partners), project logistics, documentation, and reporting.
The GINI project will be started in January, 2026, and will terminate at the end of July, 2026.
How does the cost of the project represent value for the Cardano ecosystem?
The cost of the GINI feat. masumi event series & roadshow for strategic corporate innovation in the tech sector and by assessing the capabilities of blockchain tech offers siginifcant value for the Cardano ecosystem by ensuring increased visibility in the German-speaking part of the EU and guarantee a relevant exposure to >70 corporates from several industry sectors.
Additionally, exposure to legacy industry associations and policy-makers, law firms and consultants will ensure that Cardano’s and the ecosystem’s responses to strategic industry challenges are heard and understood, and relevant new relationships are forged - and complementing the work Serviceplan group and masumi are doing in the advertising and agency sectors.
With 60,000 ADA, we will organize and run at least five high-level sessions across different regions and industries, engaging policymakers, regulators, solution providers, and relevant industry and ecosystem leaders.
All sessions will result in calls to action that are published widely and will also be communicated to MEPs, ministries, and relevant stakeholders in Berlin and at the regional level.
This will not only help to bring blockchain-based innovation back on the agenda, but lead to an improved recognition of Cardano as a leader in efficient and sustainable blockchain solutions and a pioneer of innovation in general - with a realistic understanding of industry requirements and financial impact.
Building on lighthouse projects such as the masumi ecosystem as well as relevant use cases and block hain-based solutions (stablecoins, tokenized assets, smart contracts etc), we will create a hands-on preview of how innovation should unfold in the industrial context, giving decision makers an inner map about how to connect digital assets and currencies, digital identities, digital wallets, product passports and certificates, and how to prepare their corporate backends and processes for the future.
All materials, including topical reports, event summaries, and interviews, will be made publicly available, ensuring longer-term impact for interested audiences even beyond the physical events themselves.
By applying a modular approach, we help to pave the way for Cardano-based solutions in Germany by utilising a model of industry and community education that is suitable for a federal country such as Germany. A similar approach can be used in the future for similar outreach campaigns. With this, we will (hopefully) lay the groundwork for a sustainable and long-lasting engagement of Cardano with industry players in the centre of Europe, and also leverage the existing and market-leading examples of Cardano's innovation power, such as it is the case with the masumi protocol, kodosumi and sokosumi and their AI agent ecosystem here in Germany.
