Does your project have any dependencies on other organizations, technical or otherwise?
No

No dependencies
Will your project's outputs be fully open source?
Yes
Please provide details on the intellectual property (IP) status of your project outputs, including whether they will be released as open source or retained under another licence.
The Cardano data aggregator itself will be open sourced upon completion. Many development projects from the Space and Time foundation (developed by MakeInfinite Labs) are already open source (e.g., Proof of SQL, Blitzar, etc.), and our organization is committed to continuing that approach. Cardano-specific schemas, developer tools, SDKs, and example queries created under this proposal will be made publicly available and open for community use and contribution.

Describe your established collaborations.
The Space and Time and Make Infinite Labs teams are already supporting major customers publicly such as Fidelity, FTI Consulting, US Bank, and Chainlink. These collaborations demonstrate our ability to deliver data, analytics, and no-code app-generation capabilities at enterprise scale.
For this Cardano-focused initiative, Make Infinite Labs will work directly with Cardano technical leadership to ensure that Dreamspace-generated applications deployed on Cardano satisfy new partner use cases and align with ecosystem standards. Space and Time will support ecosystem partners on promotional, analytics, and data-integration needs post-deployment.

Series A Round – August 2024
These commitments cover sustained product development, Dreamspace compute infrastructure, AI-generation systems, and cross-chain deployment tooling.
Describe your key performance metrics.
All KPIs for Dreamspace-generated Cardano applications will be tracked and aggregated into a public Space and Time dashboard. These measurements will include both onchain activity and offchain ecosystem growth.
Please describe your proposed solution and how it addresses the problem
On Cardano, building an app requires fast, reliable access to blockchain data. However, without a high-quality, seconds-from-the-chain-tip data aggregator, developers face major delays. They must:
This slows time-to-market and raises costs, especially for smaller teams. Many apps need real-time data to function (for example, DeFi protocols, NFT marketplaces, and analytics dashboards) but cannot achieve it without a robust, self-service data aggregator.
Cardano currently lacks a free, production-grade data querying service that delivers structured, SQL data within seconds of the latest block. This gap makes it nearly impossibnle for builders to launch competitive, data-driven apps quickly.
Quick video demo highlighting how easy it is to build with Space and Time’s indexed data (this is an EVM focused demo, but we are so excited to bring this tech to Cardano!): https://www.loom.com/share/ccfe6cbe67cd4dbab9a252166403b185?sid=ffc0e69a-690b-4567-b125-25c6b1cfc7c8
We propose to build a tamperproof, enterprise-grade data aggregator for Cardano, fully integrated into Space and Time’s decentralized data warehouse. This will allow developers, enterprises, and analysts to query real-time, verifiable Cardano blockchain data without running their own indexing infrastructure.
Our solution will:
Note: as an enthusiastic member of the Cardano community, the Space and Time / MakeInfinite Labs team will be open sourcing the data aggregator and making it available for Cardano community devs for 3 years, with reasonable rate limits for popular app devs (enterprise tiers available for devs that go viral!).
Please define the positive impact your project will have on the wider Cardano community
The Cardano ecosystem will benefit from:
What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability? How do you intend to validate if your approach is feasible?

Feasibility: We will prototype the Cardano data aggregator by adapting our existing indexing framework to Cardano’s unique data model.

How does the cost of the project represent value for the Cardano ecosystem?
This is the Rolls Royce of data aggregators, suitable for institutional consumption by firms such as Fidelty, FTI Consulting, US Bank, and Chainlink, etc. Today, if a dev wants to build an app on Cardano they have to pay for mediocre 3rd-party data APIs, and do not have a data warehouse ready for SQL queries against any onchain Cardano user activity. Importantly, this funding delivers a production-ready indexing solution within 6 months and covers 36 months of maintenance, with free, verifiable data access for all Cardano developers. The long-term impact, zero-cost access model, and infrastructure-grade quality of the solution make this a high-leverage investment for the Cardano ecosystem.
The proposed budget reflects industry-standard rates for blockchain infrastructure, protocol engineering, and zero-knowledge development. Our cost estimates are based on actual indexing costs when collecting data from popular chains already available to be queried from Space and Time.
