Like early days of Catalyst, Cardano governance is iterating rapidly, changing with every iteration, but still lacking an equivalent of catalystexplorer.com to help understand & make sense of it all.
Expand 1694.io, an open source & community built resource, to enable full governance plus the accessible you’ve come to know & love from www.catalystexplorer to help make sense of Cardano governance.

What is the problem you want to solve?
Like early days of Catalyst, Cardano governance is iterating rapidly, changing with every iteration, but still lacking an equivalent of catalystexplorer.com to help understand & make sense of it all.

Governance
Describe what makes your idea innovative compared to what has been previously launched in the market (whether by you or others).
1694.io was and still is the only place you can read the CIP (1694) that first penned Cardano governance implementation, kicking off the Cardano Voltaire Era. Our primary innovation here is one that rings true for the Lido Nation brand--we're making governance participation, celebration, and auditing easier than ever.
With your support DReps will no longer be forced to do governance on-chain one way. We are introducing wallet support in Cardano governance that will cover 99.99% of the Cardano DReps. The next innovation is full governance in one platform, opensourced, community owned, and written in typescript to allow the largest cohort of Cardano developers to contribute.
Describe what your prototype or MVP will demonstrate, and where it can be accessed.
The MVP will allow DRep to participate in Cardano governance, using cli wallet, WalletConnect in addition to the usual hot wallet. The MVP will also allow the community to summit governance action in a user-friendly intuitive UI/UX the community have come to expect from Lido Nation.
All features will be deployed to and accessible at 1694.io
Describe realistic measures of success, ideally with on-chain metrics.
Our performance metrics will largely revolve around the tool uses and open source contributions.
Please describe your proposed solution and how it addresses the problem
1694.io claim to fame was initially to allow a zero click access to CIP 1694, the initial document that plotted Cardano Voltaire governance age. Before 1694.io the community had to have an understanding of git and github to simply read the CIP.
1694.io has only been read only so far. The big idea of this proposal is to enable write functionalities, aka full governance. If funded we will provide the following features:
Like gov.tools we will provide a way to create pools and discussion of Cardano governance actions. Once happy, authors will be able to submit their poll as an on-chain Cardano Governance action.
The Cardano community will be able to submit governance actions with validation on-chain. This will enable non-technical users to participate in Cardno governance. This is simple to write but will be the bulk of our work.
Like we’ve done with www.catalystexplorer.com and https://gov.tools/outcomes we will provide deep research tools and analytics about Cardsano governance actions, the humans and company behind them, their impact, and completion metrics.
Please define the positive impact your project will have on the wider Cardano community
1694.io has already proven to be impactful to Cardano governance, accessibility and discourse.
It is currently the only place you can go to see catalyst participation from individuals and companies submitting cardano budgets.
Being able to bring the same accessibility and clarity to the rest of Cardano governance process will increase participation, voter awareness and facilitate even more conversations beyond what we're currently doing.
The code is open source and well maintained - this will serve as an excellent onboarding tool for new developers coming into the space.
What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability? How do you intend to validate if your approach is feasible?
The same team that brought you the existing www.catalystexplorer.com, www.lidonation.com, the current, www.1694.io, gov.tools/outcomes, and almost live Cardano Foundation Ambassador tooling and explorer is the team that will be delivering this project.
Needless to say, governance tooling is kinda our jam. We deliver. Recent repositories our team have contributed to:
We’ve already validated the feasibility of our approach via the popularity of the tool and usage it gets during active funding rounds.

Please provide a cost breakdown of the proposed work and resources
How does the cost of the project represent value for the Cardano ecosystem?
1694.io has already provided immense value to Cardano governance processes and conversations. Funding this proposal will increase that value by order of magnitude with the addition of :
A single tool for the full governance pipeline, off chain and on chain.
Introducing Live Voting Behavior Metrics and hosting real-time governance conversations ensures stakeholders can track DRep activity as it happens. This strengthens accountability and creates timely opportunities for delegators and the wider community to engage in meaningful discussions before decisions are finalized. With this approach, delegators can closely follow DRep voting behavior to ensure alignment and redelegate when necessary, while DReps are encouraged to act responsibly knowing their actions are being monitored in real time.
The last time something like this was proposed the ask was over 4x what we’re asking for. With having 14 completed catalyst proposals under our belt we’ve proven our ability to deliver high value community tooling at low budget.

We are Cardano enthusiasts and a growing collective of dreamers who believe in providing insightful education about Cardano in plain English, Swahili, and Spanish. Most online blockchain content is written by and for developers and finance geeks. We break down complicated technical ideas for everyday people, and provide relevant news in quick bites, and build tools that everyone can use.
Our website is a resource for anyone who wants to learn what Cardano is, why they should care, and how they can participate. We want to make these resources accessible to as many people as possible.
