On‑chain analysis and actions on Cardano are hard. Explorers show raw data, not answers. Users can’t easily ask questions or build safe transactions for payment, governance, DeFi, or tokens.
ChatBlock: a chat AI that turns plain‑English into on‑chain answers and signable transactions analytics, charts, staking, governance, swaps, token mints safe previews before you sign.

Yes
Describe any dependencies or write 'No dependencies'
Will your project's outputs be fully open source?
No
Please provide details on the intellectual property (IP) status of your project outputs, including whether they will be released as open source or retained under another licence.
Hybrid model. Open‑source (Apache‑2.0): query compiler, metrics library, SDKs, transaction‑builder templates, example dashboards. Proprietary: ranking heuristics, fraud/risk models, production UI. Rationale: protect abuse‑sensitive heuristics while open‑sourcing the building blocks.

AI
Describe what makes your idea innovative compared to what has been previously launched in the market (whether by you or others).
ChatBlock is Cardano’s first on‑chain, agentic AI: your “talking node.” It answers complex questions in plain English, explains blocks/epochs/transactions, draws charts, and when a wallet is connected, it plans and prepares safe, signable transactions. It can look up handles → resolve addresses → build transfers, compare DEX liquidity/volume, guide DeFi usage, summarize governance, and flag potential constitutional conflicts. Heavy analytics run through a deterministic compiler, not free‑form code, with caching, quotas, and rate‑limits to keep costs under control.
Describe what your prototype or MVP will demonstrate, and where it can be accessed.
Chat Block will be an AI-powered intermediary between users and the Cardano blockchain that will interpret on-chain data in a way that users understand and answer complex questions that ordinary users cannot find in blockchain explorers, or explorers cannot display in a clear way. Our project can analyze data in different time zones, compare data from different applications, find or recommend the most favorable conditions for capital allocation, etc.
Describe realistic measures of success, ideally with on-chain metrics.
It will be a success if people start using our project to obtain complex data from the blockchain (on-chain analysis), but also for common information such as how much ADA is in the Treasury, how many active governance proposals are there, what was the volume on the top 3 DEXs in the last 24 hours, etc. Users can use our project to build transactions (verify the recipient before sending), analyze historical transactions, etc. The impact on on-chain transactions will be positive.
Please describe your proposed solution and how it addresses the problem

An all‑purpose, correct, and efficient agent that people open first to “catch up and get things done.” It replaces what users really need explorers for (answers and understanding) and integrates with wallets for verify‑and‑sign actions.
What makes it “agentic”
Key capabilities aligned to the vision
To prove that our project is deliverable and useful to the community, we have done a proof of concept. A user can connect a wallet and request an analysis of holdings and a transaction to a specific address by entering "I want to send 10 ADA to address X".
We analyzed other AI-related projects and came to the conclusion that our project is unique, that is, there is no other similar tool.

Please define the positive impact your project will have on the wider Cardano community
ChatBlock turns the chain into a conversational, verifiable experience. Impact = more comprehension, safer transactions, stronger governance participation, and reproducible analytics for everyone from newcomers to analysts and Dreps.
ChatBlock will facilitate on-chain analysis and can answer user questions that are inaccessible to regular users.
ChatBlock has the potential to make it easier to participate in DeFi. It will allow you to find a suitable liquidity pool for capital allocation and build the transactions, including an explanation of what will happen next.
What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability? How do you intend to validate if your approach is feasible?
Software/Systems Engineer. Experience with building large scale/projects. Recently pivoted to Cardano Development.
CV:
Helped rescue funds from multisig wallets, got commissioned from a popular memecoin to make a meme-specific aggregator.
I have been in the Cardano ecosystem since 2017. I helped launch the first pools. I am a Cardano ambassador, DRep, crypto advisor, and educator. I am a former programmer and protocol designer.
I will coordinate the project and take care of quality assurance and UX.

Smart Explorer (v1): Plain‑English explanations for transactions/UTxOs/ tables + charts, export CSV.
Wallet Copilot (v1): CIP‑30 connect with at least two wallets, recipient assurance via staking‑key, human‑readable previews/diffs.
Transaction templates (v1): Send ADA/ native token, stake key (register/delegate/deregister); compose governance votes, all compiled deterministically.
Acceptance Criteria
95% success rate on an internal gold‑set of ≥100 queries across the above recipes.
Wallet connect works with 2+ CIP‑30 wallets; no keys handled by our servers.
For “Send 5 ADA to $handle,” system shows: handle resolution → staking‑key match → fee estimate → preview (human‑readable) → sign (wallet).
Evidence of Completion
Providing a demo videos: Handle → transfer plan → preview → sign (small on‑chain tx hash). There will be an on-chain transaction.

Please provide a cost breakdown of the proposed work and resources
Total Budget: 200,000 ADA
How does the cost of the project represent value for the Cardano ecosystem?
Development and Technical Implementation
Software Development: Allocating funds to compensate skilled blockchain developers, UI/UX designers, and security experts. The costs are based on competitive freelance rates within the blockchain industry, ensuring the recruitment of top-tier talent essential for building a robust and user-friendly platform.
Infrastructure and Hosting: Investing in scalable and secure cloud infrastructure to support high availability and seamless user experiences. These costs are benchmarked against industry standards to ensure efficient and reliable platform performance.
Marketing and Community Engagement
Marketing Campaigns: Funding targeted marketing initiatives, including social media advertising, influencer partnerships, and community events. These efforts are designed to drive user acquisition, platform adoption, and brand recognition within the Cardano community.
Community Support and Management: Allocating resources for customer support, community management, and continuous user engagement. This ensures a loyal user base and facilitates ongoing feedback for platform improvements.
Operational and Administrative Costs
Legal and Compliance: Setting aside funds to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and legal standards. This proactive approach safeguards the project against potential legal challenges and reinforces trust within the Cardano ecosystem
.
Project Management and Administrative Expenses: Covering costs related to project management tools, administrative support, and operational overheads to maintain efficient project execution and delivery.
Ecosystem Integration and Partnerships
Partnership Development: Investing in establishing and maintaining partnerships with key Cardano projects and token providers. These collaborations enhance platform offerings and extend market reach.
Integration Tools and APIs: Developing and integrating tools and APIs that facilitate seamless token integrations and ecosystem collaborations, driving interoperability and collective growth.
Enhanced Utility & Adoption
Practical use case: A “talking node” that turns chain data into answers and safe actions—handle→address→plan→preview→sign—lowering user error and time to task.
Economic Growth & Innovation
Affordable, reproducible analytics: DEX volume comparisons, DRep power, SPO metrics, top transfers published with shareable receipts/CSV.
Faster integrations: Clear docs/examples shorten partner build times and amplify the return on the initial community investment.
Community Empowerment
Governance support: Voting‑power views, redelegation trends, and an advisory constitutional checker with citations improve review quality and speed.
Bottom line: The 200,000 ADA budget is tight, engineering‑led, and public‑good oriented. Most funds create reusable, open components and audited safety features that many Cardano projects can adopt, while lean ops and cost controls keep ongoing expenses low. This makes CardanoGPT a high‑value investment for the ecosystem maximizing on‑chain participation, governance quality, and developer velocity per ADA spent.
