Cardano DeFi data is fragmented. Pool info, TVL, prices, and liquidity are scattered, forcing developers to spend time building redundant pipelines.
Does your project have any dependencies on other organizations, technical or otherwise?
Yes
Describe any dependencies or write 'No dependencies'
During the initial phase, the project relies on Minswap’s SDK for Minswap pool data aggregation. No other dependencies.
Will your project's outputs be fully open source?
Yes
Please provide details on the intellectual property (IP) status of your project outputs, including whether they will be released as open source or retained under another licence.
All source code will be published under an Apache 2.0 license on GitHub.
Please choose the most relevant theme and tag related to the outcomes of your proposal

Describe what makes your idea innovative compared to what has been previously launched in the market (whether by you or others).
Describe what your prototype or MVP will demonstrate, and where it can be accessed.
Current Stag is a Proof-of-Concept with working code.
Repositories:
MVP Goal: Demonstrate the full pipeline: data sync → data processing → end-user consumption, showing real-time aggregation, normalization, and usage of DEX data.
Accessible: Developers can clone repos, test data streams, end user can try with trading bot on Telegram (@poc_tex_bot - preprod environment).
Describe realistic measures of success, ideally with on-chain metrics.
Since TexStream does not generate on-chain transactions, success is measured via developer adoption, request volume, DEX coverage, and active contributions
Please describe your proposed solution and how it addresses the problem
Problem We're Solving
Developers building on Cardano face a familiar headache: every DEX reports pool data differently, and fetching TVL, token reserves, liquidity or swap prices requires building custom crawlers, parsers, and indexers. Across teams, this repetitive work consumes hours, compute, and storage which slow innovation and create redundant infrastructure. We’ve hit this wall ourselves, building arbitrage bots, pool monitors, and token alert systems, repeating the same heavy lifting every time.
TexStream solves this problem once and for all. It’s an open-source, plug-and-play socket service that aggregates, cleans, and AI-normalizes pool and price data from multiple DEXes. Developers can subscribe to real-time WebSocket streams by trading pair, pool, or entire DEX, receiving standardized, lightweight JSON payloads with sub-second latency.
TexStream is designed to be flexible: run it locally via Docker Compose for full control, or use our cloud SaaS with simple subscription tiers (all free in first year), no setup required. Our main users are developers, but if you’re not one, don’t worry: by supporting TexStream, you’re helping build the foundation for better DeFi tools, dashboards, and trading bots on Cardano. Vote for us, and you’re backing the infrastructure that makes the ecosystem faster, smarter, and more reliable. Our team really appreciates that.
System overview
Key features include:
Performance and Scalability: TexStream is built for heavy load. PostgreSQL + Redis caching ensures fast reads and writes, and horizontal scaling allows handling hundreds of requests per second. Lightweight API/WebSocket connections prevent bottlenecks, and modular adapters let us scale DEX integrations independently.
In short, TexStream eliminates repetitive data processing, saves infrastructure costs, and lets developers focus on building dashboards, trading bots, analytics, or other DeFi products without worrying about messy pipelines, inconsistent data, or scaling headaches.
Please define the positive impact your project will have on the wider Cardano community
Positive Impact
TexStream turns the messy, “reinvent-the-wheel” world of Cardano DEX data into something anyone can plug into. Developers no longer need to wrestle with crawlers, parsers, or weird JSONs, our open-source socket and API give them clean, real-time data ready to use. It saves time, money, and sanity, while letting teams focus on the fun part: building cool DeFi apps. And yes, if you like control, you can still run it on your own servers.
Value to the Cardano Community
By cutting out repeated effort across teams, TexStream acts like a backbone for Cardano DeFi. Trading bots, dashboards, analytics tools, small teams and solo builders suddenly have the same firepower as the big players. It’s infrastructure that actually makes the whole ecosystem better, and way less painful.
What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability? How do you intend to validate if your approach is feasible?
Proven Capability
TEX Labs has a strong track record in the Cardano ecosystem, achieving awards in scientific research competitions, hackathons, and organizing workshops/community events. These activities have built trust and provided direct insights into user needs.
Team Competence
The core team consists of three key members with projects funded in Funds 11, 12, and 13. Each member brings over 5 years of software development experience, more than 2 years of experience in developing and operating Cardano Blockchain infrastructure, and over 4 years in full-stack software development (microservices, clean architecture, database optimization, caching, message brokers). The team is proficient in Haskell/Plutus, Rust, Aiken, and modern frontend/backend technologies. They have successfully delivered multiple Cardano projects implementing CIP-25, CIP-30, and CIP-68, ensuring high reliability in real-world environments.
Feasibility Validation
We build for the real needs of the community. The roadmap begins with an MVP focused on critical “user jobs,” followed by rapid iterations with public releases and open demos. Success metrics are clearly tracked (active users, processed transactions, latency, error rates) and refined based on feedback.
Transparency and Accountability
We adopt an open-source development approach from the start:
With a community-driven design, disciplined engineering, and transparent operations, TEX Labs is ready to deliver the project with reliability and accountability.

How does the cost of the project represent value for the Cardano ecosystem?
We believe TexStream offers exceptional value for the Cardano ecosystem. With a budget of just $33,280 (~79,236 ADA), the project is extremely cost-effective, especially in today’s market where ADA prices have dropped. Despite the modest budget, we are fully committed to delivering a high-quality, reliable, and scalable infrastructure that streams token prices and pool data from multiple DEXes in real time.
Instead of every project building its own fragmented indexer, TexStream provides a shared, open-source, and reusable pipeline. This reduces duplication, cuts costs, and enables developers to focus on building smarter trading tools, dashboards, DeFi apps, and other Cardano-native products.
We understand the stakes, this is a product we also hope to monetize in the future, so we are fully motivated to make it robust, performant, and developer-friendly. Every line of code, every WebSocket message, and every API endpoint will be crafted with care, ensuring that the Cardano community gets a dependable, high-quality foundation for DeFi innovation, all at a surprisingly modest cost.
