Job hunting and hiring force people to send CVs, IDs and private history to many sites, and developers lack a clear, privacy-first example of how to handle this on-chain.
A Midnight testnet reference DApp where jobs are tokenized, people apply without CV dumps, and developers learn a clear pattern for private identity, matching logic and DeFi-style rewards.

What is useful about your DApp within one of the specified industry or enterprise verticals?
Hiring touches almost everyone, and it routinely handles extremely sensitive data: full work history, education, location, contact details, sometimes health or background checks. Today this information is spread across many job boards, email inboxes and tracking systems.
Our DApp shows how Midnight can support privacy-friendly recruitment:
This is particularly relevant for:
It is a working example on the Midnight test network that demonstrates what is possible and gives other teams something concrete to build on.
What exactly will you build? List the Compact contract(s) and key functions/proofs, the demo UI flow, Lace (Midnight) wallet integration, and your basic test plan.
We will build a reference recruitment DApp using three-module approach on Midnight testnet.
a) Identity Module
b) Tokenization Module
c) DeFi / Platform Logic Module
Development structure (3 stages)
How will other developers learn from and reuse your repo? Describe repo structure, README contents, docs/tutorials, test instructions, and extension points. Which developer personas benefit, and how will you gauge impact (forks, stars, issues, remixes)?
This DApp is aimed at builders who want to explore:
Private recruitment and HR.
Private governance roles in DAOs or organizations.
Any kind of role-based matching where privacy is important.
Developers will find:
A well-structured repository (contracts, APIs, TUI, web UI, docs).
A clear README explaining: The story behind the DApp in simple words, how to run everything locally against Midnight testnet, and the idea behind the three modules.
Comments and small guides explaining where to plug in: Different identity systems, more complex job rules, and additional views or analytics dashboards.
As with the real-estate project, impact will be measured by:
Forks and stars.
Issues and contributions.

Please describe your proposed solution and how it addresses the problem
The current hiring world asks candidates to leak their life story to dozens of places. Our solution shows a different approach, using Midnight as the privacy layer:
Instead of hiding all the technical workings in complex diagrams, we keep the story simple and human: “jobs”, “candidates”, “private matching”, “opt-in reveal”. Under the hood, we apply three modules (identity, tokenization, platform logic) and three dev stages. This makes it easy for non-technical voters to follow and gives enough room for technical refinement during implementation.
Please define the positive impact your project will have on Midnight ecosystem
This project gives Midnight:
a) A reference DApp for private recruitment that many industries can relate to.
b) A concrete pattern for:
Representing jobs and people with a mix of public and private info.
Running fair matching.
Handling identity reveal in a careful way.
c) A starting point for more advanced systems:
Recruitment platforms.
Role assignment in DAOs.
Private membership checks.
AI-based matchers that rely on privacy-preserving labels rather than raw CVs.
It helps anchor Midnight’s value in a very familiar context: getting a job and hiring the right people without giving away more information than necessary.
What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability? How do you intend to validate if your approach is feasible?
Our team combines technical delivery and financial discipline.
Iván Romero – Project Lead & Technical Architect
PhD in Science (Germany), Master’s in Renewable Energy (Sweden) and Electronic Engineering (Peru). Iván has experience building full-stack web platforms and IoT systems, and has worked with modern web tools, authentication systems and blockchain integrations.
For this project he will:
Angelica Rojas – Finance & Operations
MBA (Germany) and Accountant (Peru) with experience in treasury management, financial control and reporting. Angelica ensures that:
The team has previously delivered the SenseEarn pilot (www.senseearn.com) and built up a small community around it, proving we can ship working software and communicate progress.
To validate feasibility and maintain trust:
Please provide a cost breakdown of the proposed work and resources
Total requested: 10,000 USDM for 3 months.
Milestone 1 (Month 1): 3,000 USDM
Milestone 2 (Month 2): 3,500 USDM
Milestone 3 (Month 3): 3,500 USDM
The budget covers:
Smart contract design and implementation.
API layer, TUI and integration tests.
Web UI development, wallet integration and documentation.
There are no marketing or outsourcing costs; it is purely for building and documenting the reference DApp.
How does the cost of the project represent value for the Midnight ecosystem?
The recruitment DApp delivers:
A relatable, easy-to-explain example of privacy-preserving hiring.
A flexible pattern that can be reused by many different projects needing private matching of people to roles.
A complete, open-source reference on Midnight testnet for only 10,000 USDM.
It reduces the barrier for future teams who want to build HR, governance or credential-based applications. They get a working starting point instead of a blank page, which is a good trade-off for the requested budget.
