Strategic landscape

With a DRC hub launching soon in Kinshasa, here in Goma we already have an established community of active and engaged developers looking to encourage the adoption of blockchain technologies. By creating a user friendly Dapp to facilitate money transfers, we will not only create a Dapp that will benefit local communities, but will help to erase some of the negative stigma around blockchain tech in Africa.

Strategic Direction

We are already hosting almost weekly meet ups/ hackathons. We would like to engage the community to be involved in this project by adding training components for this Dapp creation to our events.

Phase 1: (3 months)

Create detailed roadmap to architect and build Dapp (using Cardano protocol)

• Validate of the idea of the application

• Outline detailed description of the project

• Choose the technologies to use for the development of the application and finalize training as needed

• Subdivision of work over time (Development period, test period, patch and deployment period)

Who is WADA?

West Africa Decentralized Alliance (WADA) support will provide skilled technical architecture, training and oversight, as well as providing large network outreach to facilitate a widespread launch throughout Africa when Dapp is finalized.
