Online Makerspace

Through an online makerspace we enable an idea sharing platform around rapid prototyping which puts the Maker in the front seat.

The project started back in 2012, where the idea won 1st place in Startup Weekend Stavanger

In 2018, we started aligning it to the industry

One of our main purposes is to make it easy for end-users to start from nothing and build up a business through this online makerspace solution, and creating win-win situations between each segment from Manufacturers, distributors, organizations, physical makerspaces, makers and all the way out to the purchaser. We create a red thread through all these segments.

Our Makerspace solution is centered around products and components and the Makers who share their ideas.
It is built on top of an open marketplace with Magento running in the bottom.
Please note companies can also be Makers, if they want to promote new products they have launched and build up contests around these.

We disrupt the current Intellectual Property system around patenting by allowing open source ideas and their contributors to be properly incentivized without the need for the intricate governmental paperwork, nor patent trolls or follow-ups are needed as these are all handled through smart contracts.

We enable a system with blank sheets for the open source community, which raises the question, how much will the first Maker earn that explains how to blink a simple SMD LED light on an Arduino or Raspberry Pi through our blueprint function when we we enable this for the AI. As every PCB have a blinking light
This is just an example though, of just a small thing, that will play a major factor in things to come.
What about collaboration across borders on an idea, where you can define each incentive % on the idea based on your contribution and build blueprints together, or just give help to the people that need it, even when its only 0.0001 percent of a really good idea.
Or how we enable academia in all of this, and aligning it with Wolfram CDF (which will come in F5, so more on that later)

Through F4 we aim to implement;

- 千 Implementation of Tinker Token 千
- Subscription payment
- New Marketing functionalities
- Blueprint collaboration through smart contracts between Makers
- E-commerce purchases incl. more advanced adaptive payments which Paypal currently don't support.
- E-commerce handling between manufacturer to distribution chains (First stage of copy-cat prevention around HW)
- Incentives (Bonus/Voting program) paid from Manufacturer and Distributors to Makers for awesome solutions.
- Local organization/Makerspace handling incl. incentives to organizations.

[History] Through F3 we aim to implement;

- Fix current bugs in the marketplace. [PHP/Magento 2]
- Make a better UI/UX
- Implement digital wallet for users who register.
- Implement incentivized smart contracts around blueprints and referral bonus.

[Future] Through F5 we aim to implement;

With the implementation of 千 Tinker Token from F4 we will now start adding functionalities around the platform for this feature.
- NFT functionalities;
-- Blueprint ownership (Users are able to sell their recipes they've made, which transfers ownership of future incentives it will earn)
-- Digital product ownership (Users are able to sell their code, 2D/3D designs, formulas, calculus etc.)
-- Users are able to set and earn a % revenue through 千 Tinker Token when their products are used/linked in to other blueprints.
- 2FA/MFA authenticator;
-- Through a 2 factor authenticator we will enable 2FA for Logins, purchases, transfer of ownership (sales on digital assets), Manufacturer -> Distributor linking, Makerspaces -> Makers linking, Blueprint collaboration, Blueprint edits etc.
-- To enable better adoption into the Cardano ecosystem, we proposed the idea that Atala Prism needs to support this 2FA functionality, and we urge the Atala team to take this into consideration.
