Overview - Blockchain Integrated eLearning System
The name of our project is XceedLearn and it is one of the few use cases of the bigger XceedNetwork Ecosystem.
Nigeria has the largest economy and population in Africa but unfortunately has a poor and dysfunctional educational system. As a result most of the graduates from formal institutions are ill prepared and void of relevant skills for the demands of a growing modern day economy.
XceedLearn is designed to create a community of instructors that would provide functional and relevant content for learners on a decentralized e-learning platform on the cardano blockchain. Through our governance mechanism, learning categories that would bridge the massive skill gaps and enable the African workforce to be globally competitive will be encouraged.

Content Creators
Unlike traditional elearning platforms, XceedLearn will build a community of high quality content creators. Content creators will be required to adhere to policies and guidelines laid out by the community with incentives when they are approved. Content creators will have the option of providing free and paid courses. As an incentive, course creators will receive our native Tokens as rewards each time paid courses are purchased with ADA. Content creators will be ranked based on their learner feedback. Recognition and badges would be earned by content creators via the learner activity on the blockchain making it void of human bias.

Learners
Our native tokens would be offered as incentives and it will be earned when courses are purchased with ADA. Furthermore, learners would be incentivized to participate in course activities including assignments, course work, quizzes and assessments leading to certification. This participation would lead to earning badges and certificates that would be issued via the blockchain which would also be void of human bias or manipulation.

Mentors
Through activities and participation of learners a community of mentors would evolve to assist and provide mentorship to the learner community. They will also be rewarded with our native tokens based on the number of learners engaged and feedback received. Mentors will also earn badges that distinguish their contribution to the learner community.

Tech Stack
XceedLearn , XceedRecruiter and Xceed365 HCM are all fully built applications running on Microsoft Azure cloud environment. The diagram below is an illustration of the XceedNetwork tech stack with XceedLearn positioned on the application layer of the blockchain enabled network

Metrics
The metrics with which we will measure the success of the project include:

• Number of users acquired - we strongly believe that 1 month after the launch of the project, our platform should have up to 2000 users. Some of whom will migrate from our existing HR and Learning solution to the newly launched decentralized platform.
• Training Courses created and consumed: This is another core indicator that we will track to know how well our project is faring. The total number of modules uploaded by course creators and the number of hours of content consumed by our users will give us a clear indication that we are moving in the right direction. The following comprehensive courses would be created before the platform launch.

1. Cardano Blockchain Developer Course - (Beginner - Advanced Levels)
2. Financial Literacy Course with emphasis on DeFi (Beginner - Advance Level)

• Blockchain-Based Completion Certificates Awarded: By 3 months after launch, we project that at least 25% of the 2000 learners would be issued course completion certificates.
• Number of Peer Mentors: As mentioned earlier, peer mentors are outstanding members of the platform that have performed well. The number of peer mentors that we have is another key indicator that we will measure to determine the performance of the platform. We project that 5 mentors will emerge every quarter for the rest of 2021. By 2022 this will increase to 10 mentors a quarter.

Roadmap
XceedLearn is an already existing product and already in use by the enterprise clients of Xceed365 HCM https://xceed365.com. As part of our roadmap, XceedLearn will be a stand alone product serving a much wider audience and community.

1. Develop Token Economic Model for XceedLearn and the XceedNetwork Ecosystem (March 2021)
2. Cardano Blockchain Integration and creation of Xceed Network Tokens (April 01 - May 31st 2021)
3. Develop Comprehensive Cardano Blockchain Developer Course Content in collaboration with West Africa Decentralized Alliance (WADA) to serve the African and Global Developer ecosystem with a one stop shop for developer education.
4. Marketing Campaign to promote and launch the Xceed Decentralized eLearning platform in each of the West African country hubs.

Budget
We are seeking the sum of $10,000 US Dollars towards # 1 on the roadmap.

Risk Management
Since XceedLearn is already part of a commercially viable SaaS business with enterprise clients, we have significantly reduced the risk of viability and delivery of this project. In addition, the creation of the integrated blockchain enabled solution is adding value to an existing ecosystem by providing a marketplace for eLearning content.
