Yoroi ⇄ Blockfrost bridge

Build a bridge between Yoroi and Blockfrost.io, so that developers can use extended endpoint set to develop advanced features more easily.

## What is Blockfrost.io?
Blockfrost.io is an instant, public and freely accessible API that removes the obstacles for developers, so that everyone can start building (d)apps on Cardano.
At the moment, we have more than 200 developers onboarded in Blockfrost!

## What is Yoroi?
Yoroi is a well known and loved light wallet for Cardano & Ergo. Yoroi backend is a service that is needed for Yoroi to communicate with the Cardano blockchain. At the moment, it is maintained by Emurgo.

## Why the bridge?
At this time, developers who want to run the local version of the Yoroi backend need to setup and maintain the full Cardano node as well as the Cardano DB sync. This takes several hours to sync and consumes a lot of resources.
We want to build a bridge to Blockfrost that will allow the developer the freedom of using all the features and data within the Cardano blockchain without the need for setting up the entire infrastructure.

## Roadmap, deliverables and performance
We plan to deliver the first stable version of the bridge no later than 3 months since the funding.
The first version will include all the current Yoroi backend functionality of the Cardano blockchain. Running the bridge will provide a seamless developer experience.

Five Binaries is an infrastructure development company. We're Cardano pioneers - with the first Cardano block minted on an aeroplane, first stake pool on the ITN and the first Shelley transaction on the mainnet.
We are the creators of Blockfrost.io. We have also experience with deploying Yoroi backend and contributed several changes to the backend itself too.

## Budget
We estimate it will take us 55 engineering-hours to complete the deliverables.
Our standard rate, which comprises of our engineers' salaries, infrastructure costs, office rent, accounting and taxes is 100 EUR per hour.
We pay our people well because they are both skilled and exceptionally experienced in the industry. And last but not least, because we respect them and want them to feel good and appreciated while working on Cardano.
