Cardano Foundation is looking for ways to create a stronger impact in local areas and also reinvigorate the Ambassador program.
I propose that the Cardano Foundation match funding that LCCs generate/raise/earn. Location, geography first, digital community second.
This is the total amount allocated to Fund Matching from C-Foundation.
If you would like to help fund this proposal independently of Voting, send ada to:

The answer to this challenge is found within the icon that represents the challenge. The image shows people working closely together but they are on connected devices, which indicates that they are not actually communicating with one another in the LCC, but rather focused on onreach. While the intention of this challenge is to establish physical, geographically based representation for CF and perhaps revamp the Ambassador program, there is more going on "outside" of the center than inside. These LCCs must work together. They must have exploration teams and engagement teams and communication with other LLCS.
CF is located in a coworking space in Zug. The community can find many coworking spaces worldwide and the goal of 2 or 3 centers is extremely conservative. I suggest that the CF aim for 10 LCCs through coworking spaces by the end of the year.
I propose that the Cardano Foundation match funding for the LCCs that are able to raise from within the community and outside of the community.
The plan is to work with and collaborate with the other proposals in this challenge and in the other challenges.
Funds will go to the other proposals in this category.
These communities are already forming organically online and I believe in the power of having a community center made up of community centers.
There may be some confusion about my proposal because of the title and the reference to Social Clubs of the 1920s which were based on cultural, ethnic, and language politics. I am suggesting that these local community centers operate similar to the Social Clubs but that they should not be bound by geography or language.
The value of the physical structure and having boots on the ground is great for local and Regional politics however the power of having the entire Catalyst community Behind These centers and supporting them is the real value. Some of these hubs or local community centers have already been proposed and are already forming operating and effectively addressing this challenge along with other challenges.
I understand that the proposal is asking for the center has to be focused on specific areas such as Defi/DAOs, dev centers, and business services. I am suggesting that these community centers be more than business sumter's but they also become social and cultural centers.
I I'm excited to see the contribution of the cardano foundation and team members in the Four Points mentioned in the proposal but I think some of these things are needed not only in local community centers but for many proposals and project catalyst so can someone that is not local be a member of this community center or can they volunteer and what is the best way for the local community centers to share ideas and not only engage with the local community but with the broader Catalyst ecosystem.
The the Catalyst community and the Cardinal Community are already engaged with many of these local proposals and looking to accelerate the growth as quickly as possible. And while we are waiting on a physical structure that is geography-based it is equally important and critical that our digital community work together to ensure the success of this challenge so that we are able to put local community centers around the world as quickly and as safely and responsibly as possible.
I believe the proposals and let this challenge should also be proposing something in the proposer Outreach and that will help the community measure the effectiveness of the local community center challenge.
In reference to the image of the map that I have included I would like to point out that each section of the map could be a challenge and within each challenge is a community center so these are needed throughout the entire catalyst Cosmos and the community center's can report to the cardano foundation or there could be a larger group of connected community centers that are able to effectively represent the smaller local hubs and work more closely with the foundation and the community centers.
I have worked in the digital/physical platform world that we now live in and I have been organizing events and communities for 20yrs.
