Developer Evangelist Japan

A specialized developer evangelist will be supporting the local ecosystem in Japanese, and also managing multiple activities.

One of our members is a Cardano developer that lives in Japan and also speaks Japanese. We also have experience while working with EMURGO.

Japan is the 3rd largest economy in the world and Cardano has a large presence in Japan. It makes sense to capitalize on this by turning opportunities into concrete projects. To do this, we need to do more outreach to get more companies involved and creating their own Catalyst proposals.

Work our team already has done to achieve this:

1. Our team has already set up a legal entity in Japan

1. We have built connections in the Japanese community though participating in Cardano meetups in Japan for multiple years as well as through our work with EMURGO

1. We have worked years in the Cardano project putting us in an ideal position to help get companies involves

Part of the Japan outreach we intend to:

1. Take part in educating the Japanese Cardano community at meetups.

1. Begin translating Plutus content for the developer community.

1. Office hours for Japanese developers and entrepreneurs to aid in navigating the Cardano ecosystem.
